Sistas Soul Food Kafe

First time here as I have passed this location numerous times, but it was most recently that I discovered they offer fish sandwiches, which happen to be a favorite of mine. I called to place my order and was told the fish sandwiches come on a roll, seeking clarification, I said like a french roll, not a bun. Let me tell you, Ms. Faith got me straight real quick when I walked in to pick my order up. She told me, we cook real food here and there are no square fish Hilarious and so true. I broke a piece of the fish off and the flavor was great. The roll was super soft and flavors blended together. I told my Mom and 2 of my Sisters about it and they cannot wait to try. Needless to say, I'll be back. They also offer gumbo and many other soul foods. Stop by, Ms. Faith is super pleasant

Don't sleep on this spot y'all. Everything here is super tasty and fresh. The menu selection is easy to read and the staff is friendly. If I ever owned a restaurant I would want it to be just like this one. Overall the environment here is very inviting keep it up y'all this is a great example of a great BLACK OWNED ESTABLISHMENT

The cuisine here is truly exceptional! Every dish is a delightful symphony of flavors, meticulously crafted to perfection. I am absolutely thrilled to have discovered this establishment!

I love the desserts, the catfish is So delicious and the gumbo is pretty amazing The service great!

Ok, so I found this gem by accident and I'm not sad about it! I got the smothered turkey wings, Mac and cheese that has a kick to it, and the greens. The turkey wings were falling off the bone! So good! I also had the peach cobbler which was good! Will definitely be back! Service was impeccable, I believe it was the owner herself that was servicing me when I picked up - she was very nice and personable!

Feels like home when you go there. Love the catfish, greens and sweet green beans/potatoes. Very nice family business.

This location is NOT closed, went by Thursday evening, very nice ladies at Sista's ordered 2 off the dinner menu 1 prawn dinner and 1 catfish dinner. Very flavorful prawns that I really enjoyed with large fries and rice and gravy, wife had 6 large catfish filets and sides were also same as mine. She really enjoyed her catfish, highly recommend this local family owned restaurant. I believe they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Will be returning

This spot is a must! Went tonight for the first time along with out of town guests! It's so cute inside, music was hitting, and the service was so beautiful and welcoming. I felt like we were at Aunties for dinner. They are not shy with portions either! The catfish was amazing, the friend chicken was hitting, the sides were off the hook. I have the smothered chicken, Mac and cheese, fried cabbage.. chefs kiss!!! We will be back!! Tell your friends!!!

I went in and ordered the turkey wings, green beans and macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious. The wait was not long at all and I appreciated the owner letting me know that the macaroni and cheese had a little kick to it. The Turkey wings, green beans and the potato salad were all delicious. I look forward to returning. The ambiance is beautiful on the inside. I look forward to returning

Problem: It's 8:45 PM and you want to eat something dank for dinner but you don't know what exactly you want. The restaurants on the Yelp "Open Now" filter are slowly counting down their minutes to closing. You could spend more precious time expanding your search and clicking through restaurants OR...Enter the Solution: Sistas Soul Food Kafe!Really tasty, comfort food that's open late and reasonably priced. Expect to wait around 20-30 minutes or so because they make your food fresh, but it's definitely worth the wait and a great option for pickup or dining in. Although I'm typically very dubious about enjoying fried food to-go, I can attest that the fried chicken maintains its perfect crunch if you order it to-go. They cut holes in the container so your food doesn't get soggy! Food is well seasoned and doesn't feel or taste greasy at all!
