The green beans and pork are literally perfect. The meat is so tender and flavorful and the green beans aren't too strong. I would also recommend the sizzling octopus, which was also great.

Food: 4 StarsService: 1 StarFood came out in between long waits. We got there at 7:10 p.m. and we're seated within minutes. We got our potstickers about 8. Our duck came about 8:15, then the duck and mushrooms. The soup which should precede or follow the potstickers did not show up until after the mushrooms around 9 p.m. The rest of the order, the lamb and chow mein arrived about 9:15, just before thecrestaurant's nominal closing time of 9:30.For more details, see:

(4.5 out of 5)Food. The food here is great, very authentic flavoring and they aren't shy with the seasoning. Some of the best chili oil I've ever had. Every item we got was very good, amazing service, and the ambiance is very nice, I know that most people look for that 3.5 star sweet spot with their Chinese food but let this review be a outlier because the food here is great. The only reason it's not 5/5 and I said 4.5 is because I asked for the spiciest level and they gave me medium. (I think they didn't believe I could handle it). But do note this places medium is = to a extra spicy somewhere else so do keep in mind. When you come by tell them Rothyy sent you!

We just had the BEST meal here! Unique, flavorful dishes, prepared with care. The portions are generous, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant large and comfortable. A nice surprise of a delicious complimentary pot of tea and bowl of pickled cabbage to whet our appetites. I'm a vegetarian and my partner eats meat, plenty of options for both of us.

Food from the Sichuan Provence is my favorite of all Chinese and I found the dishes here to be outstanding. They kindly accommodated my request for no MSG as I swell up like a Rose Bowl parade balloon and my joints hurt like hell when I eat it. This is a problem for a person who practically lives for Asian cuisine. Their facade is fantastic. Inside was clean and comfortable. I was seated in the windows at a two top as I was alone and it was perfect. I had tea, dry fried green beans and 1000 pepper chicken. Their Chinese peppercorn was the best I've ever had. I loved everything. I can't wait to return to try more dishes. The lychee fried rice sounds intriguing and I'm sure the beef with cumin is mouth watering.

Enjoyed a CNY lunch with the family. The family ordered an array of dishes from winter melon bone soup to Mapo Tofu....yes a must for my American vegetarian Husband. He said it's the best version he's ever had. It's a spacious restaurant and it looks recently opened.Please give this authentic restaurant a try. They have some traditional Sichuan dishes worth venture out for.

Quite authentic Sichuan food for the Bay Area! We got a stir fry beef dish, the Beef Noodle Soup and spicy tofu with fish. If you don't love the Sichuan peppercorn, this place is not for you since the food definitely has some heat!The restaurant is spacious and is pretty comfortable. I liked the tea that they served us. I'm always on the hunt for authentic Sichuanese food, so Sichuan Style was the next on my list in the Berkeley area. My bf and I came on a weekday for an early dinner and there was no wait. The server was nice and accommodating. I absolutely love spicy food, and this place did not disappoint. Usually, I order the spicy fish filet as a baseline dish to try, and then add some other meat dishes that I'm craving. + Spicy Szechuan Water Boiled Fish: delicious - piping hot with tons of garlic/chilies/green onions on top. I'm salivating just thinking about it, to be honest. Great portion size, and quite authentic in terms of spice levels/numbing/etc. $17.95+ Hunan Stir-Fried Beef: Beef was a tad chewy in some pieces, but for the most part it was delicious and tenderized. Super spicy as well with the green chilies and also came piping hot. $18.95+Twice cooked bacon cut pork: Classic dish, also very authentic with the sliced green onions, bean curd, and fatty pork. Delicious.$14.95Rice per bowl $2: We ordered two bowls but as you can see in the photos she just consolidated it and gave us a whole rice bowl. You need tons of rice for these dishes, I definitely ate way too much. I haven't been this impressed by a new restaurant in a while, so I was very excited to get three authentically spicy Sichuan dishes. I had a great meal, and I will definitely be back. I will say that the food is probably much better dine-in because of the nature of the dishes. However, I had leftovers the next day for lunch, and it was still delicious. The prices are also really reasonable for the area as well.
