I work next to this place and had to get the lunch serving of their takeout Hibachi. They did not disappoint with the portion or service. I ordered from the Yelp! portal which is through GrubHub. There were no added fees.I was a little late picking up my order but the food was still hot and fresh. The restaurant wasn't full at 12pm. It was clean and the hostess was friendly. I picnicked in my car- everything was packed with efficiency. The shrimp, chicken and fried rice were delicious!!! I saw a reviewer who said that the sauces were not as good as Benihana sauces-- not true! My cream sauce was mustardy and the brown sauce was a ginger sauce. My only dislike was the salad dressing. Clearly not enough for the amount of lettuce- it was watery and onion clumpy. I didn't enjoy my salad. Overall a good experience. $30 was steep for lunch for me- but I do have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. Kind of a win?

After having Teppanyaki on a cruise ship, I decided I wanted to find a restaurant at home where I could have my birthday dinner. A friend recommended this restaurant, and I'm glad she did. Our food was very good! I had salmon, my older son had filet mignon, and my younger son had shrimp. We all agreed the fried rice was the best we'd had anywhere. The grilled veggies were very tasty also. I didn't care for the salad dressing, but really liked the mushroom soup. Our chef wasn't very entertaining and not engaging, so that was a bummer. The chef we had on the cruise ship was an amazing entertainer and a tough act to follow.I admit I was thrown off by the 20% service charge, but I've heard that some restaurants are doing that nowadays. This restaurant is someplace I would only go for special occasions so if costs a little extra I'm ok with it as long as the service and food are good. I'm sure we'll be back because both my sons now want their birthday dinners here as well.

(A must read)One of the most amazing places to eat..... Said no one ever.. So my sister and I came in for some sushi mind you we were really looking forward to it. Well long story that really can't be shortened . The lady that waited on us was very rude from the beginning. she was giving us what seemed dirty looks Unless that's just her face poor girl. This lady never came to check on us once. Finally got our rolls ( Lion King) one of my and I'm sure many others favorite roll. As soon as I looked at it I had a feeling something was wrong with it. I took one bit of it and there was a (HAIR!) in my food. I really wasn't going to say anything but I'm a Manager of a food place myself and I was not going to put up with it so I said something. Towards the end of my meal that I of course me being very hungry so I ate whatever the hair didn't touch. most of the fish that was on there I didn't eat . The waiter I sadly don't know the name of tried to charge me fool price for my harry food that was not good in the first place I didn't eat most of whatever it was. Then tried to tell me she was going to give me half off. I sure was not happy about that. Also my sister and I decided to order three lion King's but this was before we got our food. After my experience I was not about to be charged for something that wasn't worth it. I kindly asked the waiter if they already have made our food to go she said yes she came back with it and I said I do not want it. She grab the food and stormed off. She brought my receipt again for paying I paid for my drink I asked to talk to the manager and he didn't really know what was going on after I explained it to him so the manager was no help either and I was trying to help my sister get reimbursed and accommodated for her experience to. He gave her a $20 gift card to that place she spend $60 on food that was not good at all.!

20% automatic gratuity needs to go. Food was decent, service was meh. Guy waiting on us was nice and pretty prompt. Almost forgot about us at the end. Our chef was quiet and seemed esleep at the wheel. He may have spoke primarily Spanish, but even if so he did little to no "tricks" and barely talked with us.Just a substandard experience and was grossly overcharged for it. I won't go back.

Came with my mom on a Monday ( holiday ) around noon. We got sat quickly. Salad only for lunch menu ( no soup for lunch ). Lunch prices seem reasonable. Took around 15-20 minutes for our chef to start cooking. 2-3 groups of people arrived after us. Our chef was nice but honestly we were impressed by another chef that was making his table more engaged. Overall a good place to stop if you're in the area and have time.

It's been awhile since I've stopped by here. So let me start with my pros and cons.. then engage... yeah?PROS;Lots of parking nearby, full bar, option to sit at a table or in front of a chef, big sized restaurant. CONS;Automatic 20% added gratuity to ALL tabs, overpriced dishes, cleanliness, quality, service..Stopped by on a Friday night and the restaurant was indeed busy. However, there were a lootttt of working staff. Some, actively assisting and checking in on tables, others, standing around watching tv very disengaged. I guess the others may think, we're auto charging everyone 20% anyways.. right? Right.. As a person that tips based off of my service experience received, I believe it should always be an option and not a requirement. Especially if I chose to not have the whole chef cooking in front of me experience.Chicken + fried rice/veggies (comes with soup/salad)-- $31. Dish was drenched in teriyaki sauce, making everything soggy at the bottom of the plate. Salad was accompanied by some kind of ginger dressing which was alright. Soup.. entirely bad, tasted weird, as if the bowl was just washed and not rinsed off completely.. a bit soapy.. My partner ordered a steak + chicken fried rice plate -- $43 plus a Corona. Dinner came up to over $110 easy. Nothing special about Shirasoni to me, definitely not a place I'd choose to eat at. Probably skipping the next time opportunity comes around to dine here. Overall experience, just not worth the $.

Stopped by for a quick bite! We opted to dine on the regular seat instead of the teppanyaki which I've heard better things! I'll have to come back for the tappanyaki. The sushi was ok. Fish was fresh but the rolls weren't too special. Had a lot of rice. Miso was on the saltier side. Great service though!

Came here out of the blue. The food was okay for Japanese food. The service was friendly but mediocre. There is already a 20% service charge whether they try hard or not for the tip so that's probably why it's an average effort on service. The ambiance is casual with bright lights. Everything here overpriced I think. Miso soup was a little salty. Sushi rolls were okay and the Donburi had so much rice but not enough unagi. Probably would not come back here again.

Never going back again. I made reservations and the person completely butchered my name. After checking in and waiting 20 minutes I ask about the reservation and was told I would be called when the table is ready. I went up again after 20 more minutes and that's when I found out about the name. I said "Royal" they put down "Boil". They told me it would be another 20 minutes and they would call or text me so we went and sat at the bar. Had our entire dinner and never received a text for my reservation. Food as mehhh, drinks were severely over priced. $20 for a one ounce pour in a mixed drink is robbery. Save your money and go to Benihana's instead.
