The besttt tofu soup spot I've ever had!!The beef tofu soup, mild spice, ALWAYS hits the spot. The soup portion is definitely enough for two people to share. If you get this along with the seafood pancake and/or fried dumplings you'll leave really satisfied Shin's banchan also always hits! I have no clue where they get their kimchi--whether it's made in store or bought... but it's soooo bomb!! I always have to ask for extra. The staff are really kind and they bring out your items in a quick manner. Never had a bad experience here. Would always always always recommend this delicious place!

We came on a Thursday night around 6:30 and waited around 10 minutes. The restaurant is pretty small and packed. But we came at the perfect time because the waitlist started to increase after us. FOODGalbijjim: flavorful, soft, and delicious meat. Many places require you to pay extra for tteokboki but they include it here!! One disappointing factor is that, we didn't get as much meat when dining in person compared to when I've ordered this dish via DoorDash Seafood pancake: all ingredients tasted fresh. The edges were crisp to perfection. They are a little on the thicker side, so if you like that, this is perfect for you!! Overall, I've enjoyed every bite I took and will be coming back to try more items , specifically the cold noodles! :D

I was craving some Kimchi Stew so I decided to order pickup! I wanted to try the raw marinated crab but unfortunately, they were out of stock. I ended up getting Galbi jjim and Pork Bulgogi too. There is a good amount of side dishes! (Fish cake, japchae, cucumbers)Galbi jjim - very moist and easy to chew! Pork Bulgogi - a bit too smokey in my opinion, but the cut of meat is just right and not dryKimchi Stew - tofu is a good size and tasty, pork is just the right cut of meat and moist, and cabbage tastes fresh and not hard! If you're eating indoors it's a bit cramped when I went in for pickup. It was very busy on the weekend at night.Parking is in a plaza

Cozy spot! Came here tonight with my bad*** medical friend after their shift for some girl time. The tofu soup isn't bad - it's definitely on the saltier/thicker end. I ordered their ramen tofu soup in medium and swapped out the ham for beef. Their seafood pancake - the ingredients were high quality. My only thing was this was the oilest Korean pancake I've had. From the Bay Area - Milpitas, Fremont, San Jose, Santa Clara, Daly City, SF, and outside - LA, Davis/Elk Grove/SAC, Sydney - no Korean pancake has been oily - this seeping oil. I don't think their fish cake banchan was that good. Otherwise I wasn't able to try their other banchan due to some current restrictions during different cycle phases. Service was okay - wish they refilled us on the tea. I'm excited to try their Korean Cold Noodles next time!

Small Korean restaurant with a narrow space and tables pretty close together. I really liked that they serve japchae as part of the banchan! The tofu soup was rich and tasty, but pretty comparable to other tofu soup spots. The mul naengmyun was well made, and the broth was refreshing. $20 for tofu soup feels a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm in the Bay Area these days. Fast service but might need to wait a bit to get seated if you come at a busy time!

This place is small. Expected to wait. Tofu soup - Very tasty. Rich and not waterly. Appetizer small dishes - I love the fact that they come refill without asking. Generous yet attentive. Bimbimbap - One thing is the cast iron pan is really hot. And can crisp up the rice Betty quickly. Kimchi fried rice - This was disappointed. I couldn't taste much of the kimchi in the fried rice. O

Shin's is such a good spot! It's a very tiny restaurant but the food is very tasty and very big portions. Ofc, a little pricey but it's worth it. I usually come right at opening time in the evening at 5pm ish to avoid the crowds. There is usually a clipboard with a waiting list. Probably not the best spot to sit and eat and hangout bc it's so small, so keep that in mind.Love all the food. Recommend the tofu soup, galbijim, spicy pork, and kimchi pancake. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Ofc there's also free side dishes, so make sure you get a refill on those side veggies.Good food and quick service. Come here with a hungry tummy and be prepared to eat.

Came in for dinner and was lucky to get a seat! This place is fairly small, but makes up for the lack of space with great service. I ordered the bude jige which was really good as I enjoy these kind of soups. The banchons were fresh and excellent and the staff was quick to refill. The only knock I would give is that they were doing some work inside the restaurant and staining wood which caused a smell but that is a one off situation. Overall this place is very good and would come back!

Winter means more soondubu jjigae. And more soondubu jjigae means more happiness and warmth in my belly ^w^ My partner and I happened upon Shin's Tofu while running errands in south bay. This tiny shop is hardly a hallway's worth of tables, but the flavor and quality draws waitlists upon waitlists of crowds. For a weekend, we were lucky to snag a table after a 20~ min wait. Service is fast & very courteous.SEAFOOD PANCAKE: Oh yes, worth the hype. Crispy on the outside, savory and chewy on the inside, all without being overly oily. Chunks of delicious seafood in each bite. This is probably best for a group of 4+, we could hardly finish this between the soup and banchan. A+ leftovers.COMBINATION TOFU SOUP (no spicy): !!! Amazing broth. Super generous on the protein and silk tofu. Doesn't feel too heavy, yet hearty and satisfying at the same time. Each bite was more flavorful than the last. Exactly what I want when I think of tofu soup.My partner had similar praise for his Mushroom Tofu Soup-- but as a heads up, their spice levels DO NOT PLAY LOL. Even as a spice lover, his butt was kicked by their medium. I lol'd. Will be back :-)

If you're searching for an alternative to Tofu House, this is the spot to try. It's quite small, but the interior and kpop music make it a comfortable space for small friend groups and couples to dine in. Staff are attentive and quick with refills, napkins, etc.FOOD REVIEW:*Pork tofu soup -- my go-to soondubu which comes with the usual white rice and an egg. I'd go for medium if you want a kick since the mild isn't a big step from non-spicy. Mild still tastes good though! Solid amount of tender pork slices and not fatty, which I appreciate since hotpot places tend to give what feels like more fat than meat. Their cozy soup is great for the colder seasons and the portion size keep you full. If not, just ask for a side refill. Now before anyone says their prices are high, do consider that their fresh and delicious side dishes are refillable no matter your party size. That's generous! Every item's texture and flavor pairs really well with their entrees too (yes, even the japchae).PARKING:Plentiful parking, but gets busy in the evening since there are quite a few other food spots in the plaza which are popular for dinner specifically. I'd suggest going for lunch if you really don't want to wait. Came as a party of three @ 7:15pm and we waited ~10 min but this can fluctuate since seating is limited.
