Shake Shack - Bay Street

Definitely better than McDonalds but it's getting extremely hard to justify the price point. We ordered their black truffle burgers since we missed it last time (welcome back!). They came out pretty greasy which was a slight turn off. The food itself came out in a timely manner. There isn't any indoor seating so y'all will have to take your food outside. Outdoor seating do have heating and the tables are cleaned often. Also, I'm happy they have 3 self ordering kiosks. It made ordering easy.

I placed an order on the app and was able to pick up within 10 minutes. My order was already done so I was in and out very quickly. I ordered the shack burger and a tropical kiwi lemonade. The burger was pretty good. The patty was smashed to give that nice crust. I like that they didn't skimp out on tomatoes and that you could tell they were fresh. I also like that you can add onions. I do think the patty was a little too seasoned, as it was quite salty for my taste. It seemed the burger itself was put together really quickly because I had to rearrange everything. The drink was a good compliment to the salt from the burger. It's artificial flavoring of course, but was still refreshing with bits of kiwi and starfruit. Overall, going here for a quick bite did not disappoint. The shakes also looked really good!

Not bad at allBlack Truffle Burger - great flavor in the sauce- juicy burger- bun came out a bit cold and kind of breaks down and gums up in the mouth while chewing, not as fluffy and fresh as In-N-OutVanilla Custard- they served it already half melted. the Las Vegas and New York Locations serve it super solid and cold. taste and smoothness is the same, however it feels like they left their freezer door openService- I came through the entrance where the condiments were, went up to the cashier and staff were pretty dismissive, they said they'll be with us shortly, there were a lot of people a few feet away but everyone could have been busy, since it was taking a while i then noticed the ordering Kiosks (definitely my oversight from the beginning, probably short on staff) and it went smoothly with minimal lag. Atmosphere - just sit outside, the tables have pigeons lingering over to steal your food and poop on you so beware. you can sit on the couch as well which doesn't have anything overhanging so that you can ensure that your food stays cleanOverall, foodwise it was a neutral experience, however it definitely pales in comparison to NY and LV locations in both service, food and atmosphere. This SS location definitely needs to step their game up in terms of quality and service. I would only come here again if my baby is craving burgers and we have no time to go to In-N-Out

Came here for the special black truffle burger! But sadly it was EXTREMELY greasy. Not the best Shake Shack experience I've had for sure. But they do have easy ordering kiosks inside and nice vibes when sitting outside with heat too. But I usually prefer indoor seating, which they have none of.

I ordered from Uber Eats. The food arrived cold. No napkins or catchup for the fries. Very disappointing!! I've heard good things about it. Not my experience at all.

This is a review about the Korean BBQ burger and a shake. The Korean bbq burger had so many onions and soy sauce in it that it overpowered the taste of the milk-- felt somewhat like puking after. However, the fries are great and I liked the tiny fry bits in the burger but there was barely any veggies in it for that price point.I paid around $20 for these three items which was insane given the portion sizes. Other notes: no restroom in the restaurant, and water is provided. The outside seating area is nice.

It's a nice little location to grab food. There is ample seating outside.My bf got the Shack Stack and I got the Chicken Stack. We shared the fries, and Peach and Cream Shake. The Shack Stack was absolutely delicious! I loved the oozing cheese from the fried mushroom. The Chicken Stack was also pretty good. The chicken was juicy with a nice crunch. Fries were crispy. The drink was a great dessert lolThe food is on the pricier side but if you want some good burger around this area, this is the place to go!

Shake Shack at Bay Street in Emeryville offers great crinkle fries and a solid Shack Burger. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making for an enjoyable dining experience. A great spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

Shake Shack is quite disappointing due to the overpricing of their burgers. Their burgers are priced at more than $5, even for a normal cheeseburger, and it's definitely not worth it considering their very small size. I can say that their burgers were juicy and tasty, but I can definitely get a better deal at a different burger shop. Their cheese fries are also not worth it as there's nothing too special about them.This particular location in Emeryville has no indoor seating. If you want to dine-in, there is outdoor seating shared by other nearby restaurants. This outdoor seating arrangement would be perfect for spring or summer weather; however, the winter weather can be quite punishing. There were not enough heated lamps to satisfy the number of seats available.

I paid for multiple add-ons on my sandwich, and got literally none of them. I emailed them and they gave me a coupon, when I really still want the dang sandwich I paid for!
