Great food and service every time we go. I understand the place has recently undergone an owner and inside refresh. Very fresh fish!

I've been to this spot once, and while it wasn't a memorable experience that has me eager to return, the sushi itself was good. We ordered takeout, so that might have affected the overall vibe. We visited on a weekday evening, and the place was pretty empty except for one table in the corner. Since it's located in a busy plaza, it's not difficult to find parking. I do appreciate how convenient it was to call in our order while shopping at Safeway - my sushi was ready for pickup in just 15 minutes, so I didn't have to wait long at all.We ordered the dragon roll, caterpillar roll and the Philadelphia roll. All basic rolls. It was good.If you're looking for a quick sushi spot, this is a solid place to check out.

Service is good. The staff was chill. Friendly. The menu had a lot of variety. Many rolls and fish to choose from. The bento box options had many combinations for you to choose from. We all opted for bento boxes. Decent portion sizes. Love how the soup, salad and California rolls were served separately on a long plate. The katsu and the tempura were not greasy. Perfect! The teriyaki was not overly sauced. Perfect! And the sashimi were sliced thick. Very fresh! Perfect!

The best sushi in the East Bay. We love the Rainbow, Titanic, Yellow tail and so many more. Do sleep on this place.

You must try their Uni. Those are really good and fresh. I also ordered the chicken Katsu. The chicken taste tender and smooth. One my favorite places to get for lunch or dinner

I always get the Shelby roll; it's amazing, and they're super fast. Plus, everyone there is always so nice.

We usually love this place. We eat here at least 2-3 month and they have always taken good care of us. But since they have changed management things have changed. For example: last night we go in for dinner and order a hot sake. Sake comes we have a taste and it taste different( not good). We ask the waitress and she said they just recently changed the brand of sake they serve and she would be happy to take it back if we wanted and bring something else. We agreed and ordered a cold sake, our favorite cold sake and it was delicious. We put in our usual order for assorted sashimi 25 piece ($70)and ask for it to be only tuna,salmon,and yellowtail. We waited almost 15 minutes for them to bring out a tray that has 8 pieces of niguri. We nicely tell them that isn't correct, they go and get the order she put in from register and they confirmed the order that we made was not that niguri and it was a 3 fish sashimi tray. While waiting for them to put our tray together, we ordered an order of amaebi and o toro. Again we waited almost 20 mins for any part of the order to come out. While waiting we ask for them to bring out some edamame because I starving and getting grumpy. They brought it out and the lady said edamame on us , and it was delicious. I finished the entire bowl and still haven't received any part of our original order. Now keep in mind it is not busy it there at all. I think there were maybe 5 tables with people sitting at them, and 2 had come in after we had gotten there. Those 2 tables received their food before we received anything beside edamame. Sashimi tray comes and it has 5 different fish on it with only 2 of the fish being the kind we requested. I still did not complain because I was so hungry it just felt good to eat something. Amaebi and o toro get delivered and I take a bite of the amaebi head and it tasted like guts and sand. Amaebi is one of my favs but I could not even choke 1 of the 3 of these down without gagging. So I nicely told the gentleman that came to pick up the dishes that "the amaebi wasnt cooked correctly and wasnt edible, I not complaining but wanted them to know" .He thanked me and took the remaining pieces. The o toro was amazing by the way!! We also ordered 2 more rolls (the pearl and shelby roll) which are always delicious and I highly recommend . So the bill comes out and its $176. I was in awe. We are ok with the cost, we have no issue paying that much if we at least get that much worth. They charged me for the hot sake we couldnt drink, the amaebi which was unedible, and the edamame which was "on us" according to the waitress. This place needs to reconsider the management decisions they have made recently if they want to stay in business. There are too many other good sushi places locally that will be happy to take their business if they dont focus on customer satisfaction like they did years past...

Food great. Price reasonable for area. Service great for takeout not for dine in if they are busyAmbiance fine for a strip mall restaurant.
