Semifreddi's Bakery

This location is their bakery they do not to retail sales. I was lucky to be included in a group tour they won in a charity auction. I am not sure if they offer them regularly. The tour was fascinating. We learned about their history, community ties, and goals. Then we toured the bakery. In the end, we got a bag of their products. If you have the opportunity to take one of their tours I highly recommend you go.

Come on! How can there's no reviews? Semifreddi's baked goods are a Bay Area staple. Known for French and Italian style breads. The baguettes, loaves, batards, and French style pastries are sold everywhere!I get a Kalamata Olive loaf about once a week. Past the hard crusty texture of the bread is an exceptionally light and airy, yet chewy, moist, sourdough bread with the flavor of the small chunks of olives dispersed throughout. It's fabulously toasted with a dab of fruit spread. My son loves the sandwiches I make with Italian meats or French cheeses. The bread is delicious paired with a Beaujolais nouveau or other light reds. First to review? Y'all better get busy!
