The variety of desserts are delightfully delicious and well decorated. The recipes use good ingredients and not much sugar. Decorating with precise and steady hand the morsels allure you to be wanting more. You can savor the cakes thinking you are in another country. Close your eyes and you will be in Italy or France. You will not be disappointed- yummy yummy food

11/10 stars if I could! The cake was gorgeous - everyone commented on how beautiful the cake looked and took pictures (I'll update this with photos later). Even better than how it looked, was how it tasted! The person we were celebrating is Gluten Free and the cake was gluten free and vegan. I didn't have huge expectations of the taste based on past experiences, but i would have had no idea. The cake was perfectly moist and dense snickerdoodle flavored. The icing had that perfect texture and was cinnamon sweet. It was amazing!I live in Seattle and it was for a baby shower in Oakland. I was nervous because I've never ordered a custom cake before, I was doing it at a bakery I don't know in a city I was visiting and needs it dropped off. Alexandra eased any worries I had and made the experience memorably wonderful.The shower wasn't going to help traditional - not a drop of pink or blue so I wanted to give some direction on what I was hoping for. I sent some images as a reference and Alexandra offered input to make sure we were aligned. She then created something that went with what I was thinking, but it was even more beautiful. I know I am gushing, but I can't help it. If you are looking for a special cake that tastes as good as it looks, use Salted Holiday!

Salted Holiday made the most beautiful cakes for my son's 1st birthday! A few days before the party I realized I had totally dropped the ball on ordering a cake and jumped on yelp to find someone who could potentially still take custom orders. Alexandra responded to my inquiry right away and listened to all my ideas and requests. I ended up ordering 2 cakes- a naturally sweetened banana smash cake for my baby and a red velvet cake with the most perfect decorating for the main centerpiece cake. In retrospect I probably ordered way too much cake given how small my party was but I really enjoyed leftovers all week and even had some to freeze for a later date too. All in all, I am so happy with my experience with Alexandra and Salted Holiday and would absolutely order again in the future!

I was blown away by Salted Holiday! Alexandra was so responsive and with not a lot of helpful guidance from me, somehow managed to create the perfect baby shower cookies fro my wildflower-loving friend. The cost was much more affordable compared to other quotes I'd received for this order and I am still in awe about how beautiful (and tasty) they turned out!

I reached out to Salted Holiday and requested a smash cake and matching sheet cake for my daughter's first birthday. For the smash cake, I wanted something naturally sweetened with fruit so as to not overload my baby with sugar, and I wanted both cakes to match the party's color scheme, which I shared with Alexandra. Alexandra understood and executed my vision perfectly! She was easy to communicate with, professional, and very thoughtful-- she even threw in a little "mom treat" for me to celebrate making it through my first year of motherhood! Both cakes were beautiful and delicious, and truly made my daughter's day special. I would 100% recommend and trust Salted Holiday for any cake needs in the future!
