I should have reviewed Tiffany awhile ago. However, this is not about her general classes, although I've attended a few. This is about her private instruction. Tiffany is a excellent private instructor. Most instructors tend not to promote private instruction during their regular classes, but they really should. Let me just say if you really want to become a proficient Salsa dancer, you need to take private lessons. Let me repeat that: you need to take private lessons. Having the undivided attention of the instructor allows you to work on the subtle nuances of the dance ultimately making you a better dancer. Whether male or female you will benefit by private instruction. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it. You should take as many private lessons as you can. As an older guy, I don't go to clubs anymore, so dancing with Tiffany was great fun. Spend the money for private lessons, you'll be glad you did. Another benefit is dancing to the music you like.

My husband and I went to the beginning salsa class with Tiffany on Saturday and loved every minute. We learned a lot and loved the easy to follow instructions, inviting crowd and music. I highly recommend this to beginners and more advanced dancers - she offers various levels. Cannot wait to go back!

Such a wonderful salsa class!! The energy, the vibe, it all makes for an excellent evening when you need to just get out and enjoy. People are friendly and the moves are broken down to fine, easy to understand, details.

I was very excited to find a local salsa class on Wednesday and went this evening. This class is on the 2nd floor of the Oakland Senior Center which is a convenient location for me. There were only 4 couples dancing plus two lovely young Asian women who were obviously the instructors. I'd come a little early as I thought I would be brave enough to try an intermediate class ,LOL! One of the instructors asked me to dance and whirled me around and suggested that I attend a beginning class.:-) I offered to pay with a credit card AND THEY DID NOT HAVE A SQUARE to accept my payment. It was not on the website that they did not take credit cards as I certainly could have brought cash. Instead of offering to let me take the first class for free, which is very common, I was told to go across the street to Whole Foods to get some cash! We are only talking about $15! Then she basically escorted me out of the class. It was not until I said I was going to report our interaction on YELP that she offered to let me take the class for free. By then, I already felt insulted and unwelcome and told her so. Would I go again and give them a second chance? I'm not sure as it is difficult to spend money when the customer service is lacking. There are lots of Salsa classes popping up but this is the only one I could find in Oakland on Wednesday
