Sac's Tasty Hot Dogs

I haven't been to Sac's since the new ownership (actually 16 years) and I was so pleased with my visit. Let me tell you, it's so lovely being greeted when we walked in. The crew is so nice, and the Manager Darnell is a Vallejo fixture. If your child ever worked in food or beverage at Six Flags between the mid 90's to the 2020's, they worked for him. I got the number 1 combo, a Sacs dog with chips and a soda, and hubby got the #3 Chili Dog also with chips and soda. Let me tell you, having fresh tomatoes and onions makes a world of difference. Each Tomato and onion was had sliced by Elena, who has been a fixture for decades, which is hard to believe. We loved our lunch and the great service. If you have a chance, stop by and have a great lunch.

I haven't been to this spot in a minute so I thought I'd slide thru, so here I am. This spot is an iconic V-town staple that's been here for a while. If you're a Vallejo native, you know wassup. I ordered a cajun dog and a cheese dog. Both are very solid and get the job done. The customer service here is excellent. The staff here is very kind and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is small with limited seating. The place can get packed pretty quickly as well. Many of the times I came here, there were be a line out the door. But it usually goes pretty quickly. Try it out if you like. :)

I've lived in Vallejo over 10 years and I never knew this place existed. I got the recommendation from one of my buddies.Man o man i don't know what they put in those hot dogs but they are delicious. I've never had a hot dog this good!I got 4 different types of hot dogs that they sell and they were all delicious.I highly recommend the chili cheese dogI will be back!!!!!!

1st time back this year and love how consistent their hotdogs are! Still taste the same since I was in high school almost 20 years ago! The chili cheese dog and lemonade ice is my go to!

This place is a must-try if you're in the Vallejo area! It was my first time and the employees were so charming and friendly! I saw that they were serving Icee's here and I was sold.What I ordered:- cheese dog, extra onions, extra cheese: I definitely did not need the extra cheese, they already pack on so much regularly (not complaining)!!- cherry icee: The flavoring to ice ratio was AMAZING even 'til the last drop!The best part is their freshly grated cheese! I only wish that the hot dog was a tiny bit thicker so that I could taste more hot dog under all of those delicious toppings. I would definitely be coming back to try all of the other combinations.

Great hot dogs, the cheese dog is my favorite! Their hot dogs remind me of another place in the Bay Area, that my parents took me to growing up. The line can be long at times, so try to get there before (or after) the lunch time crowd!

My favorite go-to small business that is simple and friendly. The hotdogs are fresh and steaming goodness! I'm glad that the line of customers is brisk for them whenever I go especially since Covid destroyed a lot of restaurants.I hope they never leave the neighborhood!

I had one of my cravings again and this time I just had to go out and tried the chili cheese dogs! I was so happy I did. They give u a generous portion but next time I will have to order another one with chili to go. It was delish and on point. It was better than a Chicago hot dog I had before!! My tummy was happy and to finish my delicious meal I had a brownie and that too was on point!!! Everyone was friendly and service was fast. I love how the place is set up with all the memorabilia!!! Will be back for more!

I grew up in Vallejo but moved several years ago. Every time I come through Sac's is a must stop. I don't notice anything different. Taste is the same: Amazing! Vibe is the same: Chill. Staff is the same: high energy and friendly. Whenever we're in the V, it's Sac's for me!

Amazing hotdogs! I had the super chili cheese. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Just wish they had a bathroom.
