Looking for a breakfast item I came across these muffin/cupcakes at my little local grocery and thought I'd try them out.Apparently they are available at a number of grocery stores and supermarkets.There were a few choices and I opted for the carrot with yogurt. They are delicious- smooth, moist and creamy. Very tasty, indeed. The carrot taste is subtle and doesn't bowl you over like with some carrot cakes.The only quibble I have is that they are a bit sweet and sugary tasting.The filling is a nice change from an ordinary muffin, so I was quite pleased. Now I'm open to trying some of their other products.

I'm obsessed with Rubicon bakery items First discovered them in Sprouts~ The little vegan chocolate blackout cake chocolate cake is my favorite! So good with coffee or whenever your craving a sweet indulgence.. I really like the birthday cake too.. it grows on you fast!! My husband likes the vegan carrot cake I'm trying their vegan chocolate blackout cupcakes for the first time (from Whole Foods) W-o-w! Delicious !I moved across the country recently & I'm so happy I'm able to get them where we movedNow, I've got to get into a good work out routine to burn those extra cals

My friend bought their chocolate cake from Safeway for someone's birthday and wow the first bite was shockingly good! Sorry Safeway, haven't been super impressed with your cakes, but this one is a different caliber! Moist, rich, decadent chocolate will knock the socks off your taste buds without being overly sweet. We looked up this company and it's such a good cause giving second chances to those in need. Will be supporting them more often and trying other products!

Delicious cupcakes! Wow! I buy the Chocolate Cream flavor from Sprouts and it's amazing! If you love Hostess, you'll love these, because It tastes like a fancy hostess, but so much better!! It's made with all natural ingredients tooThe cupcake part is moist and chocolatey, the frosting is creamy, smooth, and chocolatey, then the vanilla filling is my favorite part. It's not too sweet, it's just right!These cupcake taste like the ones they sale at bakeries!! Try them and see

So delicious! I buy their cupcakes at Target- $5.99 for 4. The chocolate cream filled cupcakes are a fancier version of the Hostess ones. The carrot cake cupcakes are my favorite. The cake part is moist and full of whole raisins, carrot shavings, and walnuts. It is also filled with their fantastic cream cheese frosting!

Rubicon Bakery puts out a quality cupcake, leaving out many of the inferior ingredients too often found in similar baked goods. Regrettably, there are only three varieties available in my area but Rubicon management has informed me that more flavors are on the way in about a month and a half. Of the flavors I tried, Chocolate Cream, Confetti Birthday and Red Velvet, the Red Velvet is the only one I'd personally eat again. I buy them all because my wife enjoys all three varieties. The reason Red Velvet is my top choice is not for reasons one might think. There's not quite enough cocoa powder in the recipe to declare the cake authentically Red Velvet. However, the Red Velvet cupcakes have a pronounced vanilla flavor, even more so than the Confetti Birthday. Because of this, any time I can snag a box of the Red Velvet I do so with delight. Also, I find the Red Velvet slightly more moist than the Chocolate Cream or the Confetti Birthday.Consumers should be aware that the product is shipped frozen. Retailers are responsible for thawing the cupcakes and applying the price stickers with the correct expiration dates prior to placing the product on the store shelves. According to a Rubicon staff member, the cupcakes, whether refrigerated or not, have a recommended shelf life of 5 days. There is a Julian date stamped on the side of each box that will inform prospective purchases about the date the cupcakes were baked, packaged and frozen.

Love their mission. I get their cupcakes for my daughter and I and we both love them. Love the ingredients and pure. Only cupcakes I buy.

Just had their red velvet cupcakes and they were amazing!!! The cream cheese frosting was so delicious. It sat like a cloud on top of the cupcake AND there was some in the center. They stayed fresh and moist in their container for days.

Mom's Chocolate Cake is the best grocery store bought cake, good value unless the store you buy it at jacks up the price (looking at you Mollie Stones). Buy it from Safeway for the best prices. I am docking a star though because the plastic packaging is atrociously loud and difficult to open!
