Rockin Crawfish

Great option for a seafood boil. They answered and took the order. It was easy to do, and the order was ready when we arrived. Too bad they were out of bibs.

We ordered 2 lbs of head on shrimp in rockin combo - medium sauce with corn and potato, Garlic noodles, rice and a Michelada. The shrimp were a good size the disappointment came with the sauce, it was extremely watery!! Not thick at all, it didn't stick to the shrimp. Sorry to say it lacked enthusiasm. The dish was so hot we could barely touch the shrimp, corn or potato. The garlic noodles were so GOOD!! I would love the sauce to have measured up to the noodles.The Michelada lacked as wellThe rice, we never got it...As for the ambiance, it's cool. A sports bar atmosphere, very open. The service was good except for the forgotten rice. We ordered everything all at once (except for 1 soda) bc we read a previous review that stated they lacked in service. But with only 3-4 tables out of approx 20 it wasn't busy at all. The servers were nice and we were warmly welcomed.

Rockin crawfish shares the plaza with a supermarket and some other businesses so parking is not an issue. I came with a party of 4 and we were greeted & seated fast. We ordered the seafood boil, shrimp po boy, snow crabs, fried oysters & seafood pan roast. Everything was delicious from the sauce to seafood quality. Good service too! Will return to try more menu items.

First of all we got their early before opened. When the food got there before opened owner had his dog around the food. I didn't feel comfortable with that. Then the owner or manager was walking around diggin in his nose for gold more than once. Once I saw that I was out. I never came back. I was done. Don't go to that one.

Eek. First thing to note if this makes a difference for any of you: they charge 15% gratuity for dining in. The staff were friendly and checked in on us quite often. Gloves were provided while bibs were given upon request. Like other reviews have mentioned, they are pricey and the combo options honestly sucks. Only 1 of the combos included crawfish and only at 1/2 lb. Many of the combos included half pounds of each item. i ordered Rockin Combo flavor at medium spicy on 2 lbs live/fresh crawfish ($20/lb as of last week vs $17 for frozen), 1 lb head on shrimp, 1 order of potato (came with 2 potatoes), 1 corn, 6 pc sausages. ~$80 after tax and tips. The sauce had cajun flavoring and not too spicy at medium spicy (I usually get mild or medium), but not garlicky at all despite that minced garlic was in the mix. I can forgive the lack of freshness in crawfish if the sauce is good but unfortunately it was hard to find many positives with the black bellied crawfish and disappointing sauce. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place for seafood boil.

Paid too much for very little very disappointed in service they were more focused on how they look instead of being waitressing

I was in a seafood mood and this totally satisfied that craving! We got both a shrimp and mussel boil and I was pretty impressed. The mussels were really meaty and the spicy sauce gave it a good kick.I really liked the sides. The Cajun fries and garlic noodles were really yummy. Some places can make garlic noodles super buttery and oily but this sat pretty well with my stomach.Service was good and food came rolling out on time.Reasonable pricing and I feel like we got a good variety of food along with itA pretty casual spot in the San Pablo town plaza. You can't go wrong for a lunch or dinner here.

King Crab Legs had very little meat, so we showed it to the manager and was able to get a discount. Unable to order minchiladas because they ran out of mixture to make the drink. The service was not great, I had to ask our server three times for some water. Mind you we came in on a slow Thursday evening, only three other couples. When we asked them to put on the basket ball game the server ignored us. I do not recommend this establishment.

I was highly disappointed in the paper plates and plastic dishes how am I to pick k crab with a plastic fork?! Had the lychetini it was very lightore of a juice. The spicy is about an 8/10 spice level. Garlic butter whole crab didnt taste very garlic buttery ... the flavor was lacking a little everything else was pretty basic same as any other sea food boil location .

Came here with moms after work. We ordered a combo that had everything in it. Muscles, shrimp , crawfish and king crab. We did notice that now they cut everything down to half pounds in the combos instead of pounds and it's more expensive. So less food but more money. That's why three stars for this review. Sauce flavor was great this time. Rocking combo medium. Spent $100 on two pounds of food and two cocktails. Service was good though. Food came out quick and our server was nice.
