Rheem Theatre

We just love visiting this theatre where the ambiance is vintage gold but the seats and technology are modern. We love having the theatre to ourselves but are shocked every time as it's such a local gem!

We love coming to Rheem theater as it is so darn convenient and basically how I want to watch new releases. Not in vast rooms but human size with comfortable sitting and human contact.

Nice, clean theater with modernized art deco feel inside. Only 7 min for previews with no commercials for soda or candy. I appreciated this a lot as some of the bigger theaters take way too long with ads and previews. Parking was a breeze.

I love this theater! Everyone that works here is great, the popcorn is tasty and the beer is delicious! Tuesdays they have deals which I love. Always easy to find parking around the theater. The one thing they can work on though is following up when a moving is showing. Once we sat waiting for the movie to start for 15-20 minutes before someone finally went to get someone and it turned out the movie wasn't able to play. Another time they never dimmed the lights. Would be great if someone just made a round through the theater to make sure everything is working good for the movie when it is supposed to start.

Love the theater and sound system, hate how it's run. There are multiple times I've had to go out of the show to ask to have the lights turned off now. It's frustrating to miss part of a movie because of poor setup. The thing that really irks me though is that they may overcharge you. I've had two incidents happen:- a matinee showing was charged as an evening showing (that was remedied on the spot)- an evening showing in the big theater had a $2 mystery upcharge that the manager in charge could not explain nor change. Look, I get it, theaters are struggling. And I want to support the smaller local theaters. But it's getting challenging when y'all charge $16.50 for a movie in the main auditorium (again $2 of which are not explained with the price breakdown on the board). Staff are generally very friendly but limited in what they can do. Please fix some of these issues.

We absolutely love this theater! The new seats are super comfortable, clean, and the young staff are sweet(albeit sometimes ditzy...but they seem like students working for xtra money). Feels like a small town theater with good hotdogs, decent popcorn and concession. I love that they also bring the food and concession to your seat if it's not ready in time. We always get hotdogs when we go to the movie and they make it to order which can be a long wait if they have not defrosted them. A bit more planning for projected show times where they will expect more people would be nice.Depending on the theater, I feel like the can do better job with the video quality and lowering the lights more. Sometimes looks like you are watching TV in the middle of the day and can't seem to see all the true details as is intended by the movie maker.All in all, we still love coming here and would give it a 4 1/2 rating if possible.

Having a local theater is a gift! The seats are large, comfortable and reclining and they offer $5 matinees on Tuesdays. We have seen several movies here over the last two years and had a solid experience every time. The most recent visit we did encounter some technical difficulties where the projector kept glitching and we ultimately didn't get to watch our movie and had to get a refund but it was a one off and we will still come back.

Terrible service. Employees standing around doing nothing while people are in long lines. Lines to get into the theatre. Lines to get concessions. The most inefficient movie theater you've ever seen.

It is the best theater ever!!!!!!!!!! I love this theater it is do good, the popcorn is great the other candy and things are great. The seats are super comfy and luxurious. And like i said this theater is just awesome !!!!!!!!! And just saying but it is just better than the orinda theater, its seats are like really uncomfortable where as yours are really nice . So for anyone reading this please consider this review when deciding which theater to go to! Oh and barbie is like just the BEST movie ever!!!!!!!!
