We've gone to the Renegade Craft fair a couple times now and it's always a fun shopping adventure and the best part it's supporting a lot of local makers and smalls businesses. There's so many vendors ranging to home goods, clothing, pet supplies, bbq sauces and spices, and of course snack/coffee vendors. They also got a handful of food trucks parked outside. We are trying to cook more at home and we ended up buying a couple different habanero salts and meat spice rubs. What I love about it is that you can talk to the business owners and it's cool listening to their stories. To attend it's free to enter and it's dog friendly. Definitely a fun way to spend a part of the afternoon and nearly impossible for us without buying something. Every vendor seemed to take Apple Pay or card, so no need to carry cash to purchase.

First time coming to Renegade Craft Fair! We parked at Marina Green, just a short walk from Fort Mason. If you plan to drive, come earlier as parking spots fill up quickly. My friend and I spent about an hour exploring the various stalls and looking at prints, ceramics, and jewelry. There are food trucks outside and if you visit on a Sunday, you'll find the Fort Mason farmer's market right in front. It was a fun time and a great way to support artists!

Ah, the quarterly Hipsters Paradise, also known as the Renegade Craft Fair. Unfortunately, shopping in America often leaves me longing for the creativity and charm of small businesses, and for goods that are uniquely crafted rather than mass-produced (hello, Amazon). My first visit to this craft fair was in 2018, when it seemed the vendors were more sparse and the crowd wasn't as large.Over the years, I've noticed a welcome increase in the diversity of the artists, which impresses me more with each passing year. I'm grateful that this fair remains accessible to all, free of charge (though donations are suggested). Kudos to the organizers for making it so inclusive. Compared to my initial visit, the representation of artisans from different backgrounds has greatly expanded. I now see many more people of color, and with each passing year, I feel more at home. This is where I happily part with my hard-earned cash. The selection of uniquely crafted clothing and other treasures is unparalleled. Treat yourself to something truly one-of-a-kind. Trust me, you can find show-stopping pieces here. Every time I wear something I've acquired from this fair, I receive compliments on my outfit, and it has only deepened my love for fashion and boosted my overall confidence. It's a fantastic event!

I was really surprised at how tacky and "made in Asia" many/most of the goods at this fair was. I thought it was an artisan fair, and "makers fair" but there were very few tasteful and handmade items. Yes there were a few ceramics that weren't gaudy, and a few nice clothes, and some cool artisan nut butters, but mostly was trinkets and mass produced ugly stuff. Was quite disappointed.

Visited the Renegade Fair in San Francisco today. Good quality and good diversity of products and vendors! Lots of amazing ceramics, candles, tea, clothing, art, body products, household goods, etc. Venue was spacious, well lit and with good parking (for San Francisco) and event was well coordinated with an information booth upfront and some food vendors both indoors and outdoors.

My favorite part of this event was the awesome $20 grab bag that I bought from this local jewelry maker. I got a 'SexyTime' rappers gold nugget type ring and a pocket knife charm necklace. I AM SO HIP. Yea-boyyee!They have very interesting local crafters and looking at them was quite fun. It's also kid and dog friendly - so bring the entire family!Also... free whisky tastings contributed to the fun. Support your local crafters/small businesses :)

I love coming to Renegade every year. The variety of items for sale and the creativity of the goods are so inspiring. The prices are in the higher side, but one has to remember that these are small business owners and labor is expensive. Come out early and enjoy the Marina. Nice that they have food trucks outside to stave off hunger pangs.

I'm writing a review as an artist and a maker who's been trying to apply as a vendor for years. I think Renegade is a scam for everyone who's trying to get in as a new artist. Every year they keep taking the same vendors, but they allow new artists to apply, because they are charging $50 (FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!) application fee from everyone. Those fees are NOT refundable, and they sure know they will not be accepting new people, but they have 1000s of people applying. Just free money for them. And yes, every year as I get rejected ( oh, btw, they never say you're rejected, they say you're on their wait-list, so that you keep the hope and keep applying, aka keep paying them), I go there to check the vendors and the crowd. I keeps seeing the same booths over and over. Some businesses (no offense to the owners) are basically wasting space because no one even stops by. But some others, like myself (based in the Bay Area, edgy brand with HIGH volume of sales), don't even get an opportunity. I'm done trying, and if you're a maker, I'd say keep that $50 application fee and put it back into your business. Cheers!

I was a giant fan of the early fairs but sadly the RENEGADE CRAFT FAIRS of late are redundant and have the same crafts aisle after aisle .
