Relo Banh Mi & Coffee

4.5 star rating, but bumping up to a 5 because it's a mom and pop shop in an obscure shopping center and if anyone deserves a boost, it's them! The order: - Breakfast Banh Mi (4/5 stars): Probably wouldn't order again, but an interesting twist on a Banh Mi with fluffy eggs, Vietnamese sausage, and veggies. Everything was so crisp and delicious, including the baguette that was melt in your mouth fresh. - Spam Musabi (4/5): Spam musabi, 'nough said. - Bac Xiu (5/5): YUM. Somehow so creamy and smooth. I wish I lived closer, I would stop in for this as often as possible for a caffeine fix.

Another good eating experience!Garlic fries, popcorn chicken, small (very big) 'create your own bowl' lunch. I order pork with egg roll on noodle in small bowl. They are very generous.Pandan Latte is delicious. A must try!Food is fresh and very clean. I have ordered more than I have review of this place. Every time was gold!

I've had a lot of fantastic banh mi's all my life living in San Jose. So I have my bar setup high when trying new banh mi places. Now that I live in the East Bay, Banh Mi Ba Le in Oakland is my go-to spot. Relo has been on my list of places to try since many people say it's one of the better places in the Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore areas. I ordered my usual banh mi, which is BBQ pork, w/extra pate, and extra jalapenos. I also ordered two spam musubi. The pork had a good flavor and balance of meat and fat. However, the big letdown is the bread and pate. The bread of a Vietnamese banh mi should have a light, crisp exterior and a soft, airy interior. Their bread is hard on the outside, but not hard like Lee's Sandwiches, where it scrapes the roof of your mouth. The inside of the bread is dense and not soft. The pate here is too wet, and the flavor could be better. The spam musubi I would not recommend. They put too much rice, and there is not enough sauce.

We were pleasantly impressed with the quality of freshness and goodness in each bánh mì. It has very tasty marinates you expect for bbq pork or beef. There are other Việt bánh mì varieties not offered at other places for very reasonable prices.What's most surprising are the flavored Vietnamese coffees. It's suprisingly yummy, unlike other bánh mì places that hide the coffee in a lot of ice. Definitely making this our normal to order places!

This is a little Bahn Mi spot in a strip mall in Dublin. They produce the largest Bahn Mi Sandwich i have ever seen, it's delicious and is less than $8 bucks. It's quick serve order at counter, family run and very clean.

I am absolutely in love with Relo We always order the spring rolls with pork and shrimp and the spring roll with veggies and extra mushrooms. Please don't sleep on the banh mi we tried the shrimp and pork and the pork with pate on the freshest French baguette. You must ask for extra peanut sauce for your dipping pleasure so good. The ambience is small but quaint no-frills large television posted on the wall for you to watch whatever is playing while you dine in There are a couple of tables outside if you prefer that type of seating The family who runs the shop are so cordial and professional, and prompt service, the ingredients are fresh and flavorful.This is must try spot

I was craving a banh mi, so I stopped at Relo to check it out. It had been on my list for a while so I was excited to try it. I ordered the vegetarian special banh mi which was $8.65 including tax. I thought it would be filled with the vegetarian ham that I find a lot of veggie banh mi have but this one had cooked mushrooms and tofu in it. The filling was seasoned very well. It also had the usual pickled daikon and carrots, jalapeño, and cilantro in it. I really enjoyed my lunch banh mi. I'd definitely come back to try the other things they have here like the spring rolls ($6.50ish) and the pandan waffle ($3.50). The restaurant is small, with 2 tables outside and 4 tables inside. There's plenty of parking in the lot.

I love that I can do a bowl instead of bahn mi bread sando I had a chicken bowl. The chicken was dark meat but not fatty. Good portion in the small. I will ask for cilantro added next time. Pickled veg is good and the right amount of sauce . Husband had beef sando which was not t all gristley , had lots of cilantro and nicely toasted bun Nice service. They brought us water. They handled lots of kids here on lunch break from high school. They were just leaving at 1, so if you arrive around 12-1 you might be in the middle of a teen lunch rush Apparently nobody eats in though we did and there are several tables in and out. If they ask about carry out vs eat in, they can save some plastic bags !! I wish there was less plastic overall.

Tried the rice bowl this time. We got a small. There was tons of rice but not a lot of pork. It tasted good but I was left with a lot of rice and no meat.Also tried the ube latte. Not too much ube taste. Pandan latte was better!

Busy!!! 2pm on a Saturday and constant line of customers over the last 20 minutes. Small shop in a strip mall that should not be overlooked. The Banh Mi is the real deal. French roll fresh and tender on the inside with that perfect crunch. Filling is fresh and fabulous. Carrots, daikon and tofu or meat of choice. Highly recommend. Small seating area available. Recommend order to take and enjoy where you desire.
