Pupuseria El Girasol

Came in to get pupusas, had to wait to get a table as they where all dirty mind you there was at least 6-8 tables and all of them empty but not cleaned from the previous meals. Ordered 2 pupusas with beans and cheese and another 2 with cheese and loroco since I am a vegetarian. Not only did they come out cold but one of the beans and cheese had PORK in it. Very sad won't be coming again

This is an all-time favorite. I've came here since I was a teenager and nothing has changed, the quality has stayed consistent. I love Salvadoran food, pupusas are something I crave all the time. Girasol has remained affordable, quick, and it's a family owned local business that thrives off their customer support! If you're ever nearby be sure to get your fix. The staff is super nice and there are plenty of seats to sit at. You can pick up your order, call or online, receive delivery services through DoorDash/UberEats. They're pretty fast and the food is always fresh. It's spacious plus they sell snacks & goodies from El Salvador :)WHAT I ORDERED:Beans, Cheese, Loroco pupusa - so filling & amazing 10/10Cheese, Zucchini pupusa - stuffed with cheese, didn't have as much zucchini filling but still good. Not my fav 7/10Platanos Fritos, Frijoles, Crema - Amazing. It smelled delicious when it first arrived too 10/10Ensalad - refreshing, 1st time ordering & would get again 9/10

Pupusas here are good. Usually I call to order over the phone so the pupusas are ready when I arrive. Plenty of seating if you wish to dine in. It gets pretty crowded at times here so I don't know how the service is during those times. I always order to go at this location.

They have some of the best pupusas around. The food is always crispy, cheesy, and freshly made. We always get it with a side of rice and beans too. Sometimes the place can take long to make the food but most times the food is done on time. Parking can be difficult because it is in a busy strip mall, but overall the food here is great. We have eaten here only once though and the rest of the times we ordered to-go since the one time we dined in there were just too many people and the service was slow.

Got a plate of fried plantains, beans and crema. The plantains were cut in rather large chunks. They tasted good but were a bit firmer than I like, and because of the size, they were not evenly caramelized. The beans and crema tasted pretty standard. Friendly service, large menu. It's also in a strip mall with several other interesting stores: one for pinatas and the candy that goes inside, an Asian grocery, Salvadorian grocery owned by the restaurant but a few doors down.

The pupusas are BOMB best part is the curtido. The yuka frita con chicharrón is amazing!

The pupusas here are sooo good! I'm addicted to them! I love this place I will say they can lag on getting you food at times , but they do get pretty busy. If you are grabbing these for lunch or are in a hurry highly recommend calling ahead for pick up! The restaurant is fairly small but it looks like they remodeled to make it more spacious and fit more ppl there.

Came here to eat pupusas. Previos review said hot and crispy pupusas. NOT true at all. More like cold and crusty. Order pupusas, 1 tamal de elote fried and 1 pastel de leche all of these came barely warm. The 2 pastels de papa were hot. My husband said the 7 mares soup was good. Very disappointed as I told the young lady that didn't understand English. That's fine as I'm fluent in Spanish. I told her to please bring the food as it's ready so that we could enjoy it hot. Didn't happen. Again cold pupusas are NOT it.

I can't believe they charged something I haven't drink Food was 2/5 Charged was to crazy for the bad service never again

The pupusas are always delicious, and the service is friendly. It's easy to get a large catering tray for parties.
