Poke Don

Decent poke place across the street from Round 1. As other reviewers have stated, it's a little pricier than other poke places and they charge for hamachi, shrimp, avocado, and tamago (egg). The cubes of fish are pretty small, as is their scooper, but because we ordered the large size with 4 proteins, I think it was filling enough. They charge $2 per scoop or hamachi so it was $4 more for our two scoops. $18.95 for the large bowl plus $4 so $22.95 plus tax. The fish tasted okay (nothing stood out) and the mix of brown rice and salad and the ponzu sauce were good. Portions for the sides were reasonable. The soda machine is out of order but the employee was nice enough to get us some cups of tap water. The parking lot is not very big and was pretty packed on Saturday night. It's 3 high two top high bar tables with bar stools and one lower table. It's a reasonable option for a quick dinner in the area.

Great food great service! Except their credit card machine was down.I would recommend this place, go check it out!

This place will leave you wanting more. And not necessarily in a good way.. because the bowl is all rice and barely any protein and toppings. I would've expected a little more of the crab salad AT THE VERY LEAST but even that scoop seemed soo small. I probably got more green onions than the crab salad & I didn't need THAT much lol.I've ordered from here before a long time ago (never in person, just through doordash) & it was good enough from what I remembered to want to order again. It's good for a quick fix if you've got a craving & money to spare because it actually tastes decent, but after tonight's order, the portion sizes just didn't feel worth it.

Been craving for a Poké bowl. So, now that I live in Hayward I'm in search for a spot. And I think I found my new Poké spot! All the proteins was fresh and the sauces yummy. And their Crab Salad is hella good! That's very important for me. They nailed it. And every bite was bomb! The 2 young gentlemen that worked there was fast, friendly, and actually greeted me right when I walked in. Love that.

Yummy !!! I got the basic spicy tuna and ahi tuna . So good I've been looking for a new spot and this may be the one . I get my moneys worth here opposed to the last few spots I've tried . Fresh fast and delish ! Great customer service and quick too :)

This used to be my go-to place when I'm craving poke, but unfortunately, the quality has gone down throughout the years. I ordered for pick up and decided to eat there since there were tables available. I ordered a large that's $18.95 which comes with 4 scoops of protein (salmon, ebi, spicy crab meat and tai) with half spring mix and white rice. The rice was extremely and it did not taste like sushi rice. The ingredients don't seem to be as fresh as it should be plus the price is a bit extreme for the quality that you get.

After several visits to PokeDon in Hayward, it's high time to share our experience. The create-your-own Poké bowls offer a satisfying customization experience, which allows customers to tailor their meal to their liking. During our multiple visits, we've always enjoyed the service and our final selections. Although prices have increased slightly, this is understandable and noticeable everywhere these days. An important note... while the inner parking lot can be a bit tight, venturing a bit further to the adjacent parking lot would be a better option. Overall, the simplicity of the ordering process coupled with the quality and freshness of the ingredients, especially their proteins such as the salmon and tuna options, definitely makes PokeDon a reliable choice for a quick and flavorful meal.

I come here at least once a month and am super bummed their prices went up but not shocked because I know that happens. The same guy is always working there when I come in and he is pretty knowledgeable and offers good suggestions. I enjoy the poke here. It is a great spot to grab a quick lunch. I have never had to wait too long. I got a small bowl with tuna and salmon + spicy crab. I think this place is solid option for a quick bite and to eat something fresh. No complaints here.

Big Mike is a master. I love the poke Bake and usually add to it . It's a once a month treat for myself

Hidden poke bowl shop tucked away in a strip mall. Surprised with the selection of fish and toppings. Some exotic products like Japanese clams and real crab meat as for topping again good selections even had assortment of picked veggie's. Purchase the two scoop options for 14.99.
