What a wonderful option in Temescal! I will start my review saying that it seems very hard to make a wrong decision here - everything I tried was delicious. They offer both "NY style" thin slices and Sicilian style squares. The crust goes through a 56-hour fermentation process and the end result is a beautifully crisp exterior with a light fluffy interior. I tried two thin slices: Buffalo Chicken and Green Goddess. I also tried Nonna's Pepperoni, a Sicilian style slice. All three were delicious, circling back to my theory of there being no wrong choice here. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, I'd choose this over the nearby chains any day. They have vegetarian/vegan options, and they also have beef pepperoni. Kudos for both. The customer service here is great, I cant wait to return and try more of the menu.You can order online via their website or call ahead if you're pressed for time.

Being married to a Jersey boy who is a pizza snob when it comes to those who proclaim to be NY style, we are pleased to confirm that Pizza Ponte hits the mark!Their Sicilian style pizza is especially light and crispy with a nice sauce to complement every bite.I had the vegan which was delicious and the perfect crispiness and foldability. Foldability is very important in the scoring by our family. We don't use forks and knives in this house!Our last slice of pie was the classic cheese which was tasty. The sauce here has a nice zing to it.Did I mention dessert? The tiramisu is delicious! I have been trying to make it myself and haven't hit the mark yet. Here, the tiramisu cream/custard is so light and the coffee flavor is perfect. I can't wait to get another piece because it's that good.Parking can be a challenge, especially on a weekend evening. I ordered for pickup and it was ready in 15 minutes! I ordered the Green Goddess pizza -- it did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back to try the deep dish pizza. There's also space to sit down, eat, and people watch inside the shop.

Really great pizza, if you're in a pizza mood but not in the mood for a traditional Sourdough-Oakland style slice.

What an unexpected surprise! My partner had a yelp event here so I joined her and I am so happy I did!It's a small pizza shop with limited indoor seated but plenty covered seating outside.They have a display case of extremely delicious and large pizzas. I am generally not a fan of pesto - but they had a couple pizzas with that ingredient, but what sold me were the massive dollops of the ricotta cheese!We ended up getting- Pepperoni pizza (NY style) - Genoa Pesto - my favorite! So delicious (NY style)- Bad Guy (deep dish)All very good and I will 100% be returning so more slices

Pizza Ponte in Oakland is the perfect spot for massive slices of pizza that don't skimp on flavor! Their slices are huge and absolutely worth it.In the photo, we tried a few different ones. The green goddess was a hit, with a great balance of garlicky pesto and melted cheese, all topped with a generous amount of Parmesan. The white slice was another favorite, light but rich, with dollops of ricotta and fresh basil adding a nice touch. We also had the square pepperoni slice, which had that amazing thick, crispy crust and just the right amount of sauce and cheese.If you're looking for variety and quality in your pizza, Pizza Ponte is definitely a spot to check out!

Arrived when they were first open but they were running behind since they had a big order for the day. They ended up taking my number down and called me when they were done. About 30 mins.Pepperoni pizza 10/10Green goddess 10/10 I really enjoyed the pesto and the kids loved their pepperoni. Plenty of pepperoni on the slices. Great dough and sauce! I took away a star bc 10 piece wings were $20! And the wings were fairly small. The flavor was just okay. Staff is great! Nice and friendly. Parking is tricky on a busy street.I would recommend if you're in the area!

Came in for a Yelp Elite Event and decided to order some wing to go with the pizzas. Ordered over the phone, when I got there waited about 5 mins. 10 Wings, 5 Lemon Pepper & 5 Buffalo, they perfectly seasoned and juicy inside. One of the best I had, I would rank them in my top 5s. The pizzas are very good too, if you like New York Style thin crust like me.Nice and clean inside with some cool photos on the wall.

Best pizza I have had in the Bay, a good taste of NYC. Minimal seating inside but great customer service!
