A solid 3.5 stars. We came in on a rainy Saturday evening and realized that we were the only people in the restaurant. The ambiance was clean and warm, but a bit sterile. I wasn't even sure if they were open until a shy man popped up from behind the counter. I asked if they were accepting dine ins ans he said yes and gestured for us to sit anywhere. We chose to go to the back end of the restaurant just in case our crew was too loud. As we walked to the back, we caught a glimpse of the massive kitchen area. It was spotless and the man behind the counter grinned happily and was very excited to see us. Once seated, we waited a good 5-10 for a menu. I found it a bit odd that we were handed a single paper menu and that it was handed to my husband. Thankfully, I review menus online before I go to a restaurant, so I had an idea of what we wanted to order. The man behind the counter returned quickly with a few cups and a full carafe of cold water. He said he would be back for us to order in a moment. We decided on the combo appetizer plate, the beef/lamb/kefta/chicken combo plate and two sides of French fries. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot, but unfortunately, we did not have any silverware or plates. We had to go to the front counter to ask for plates, silverware, straws and napkins. This is where I deduct one star. The food was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy kick of the falafel. I have been to many restaurants where the falafel is crispy, yet dry and crusty in the middle. This falafel was perfectly cooked, full of flavor and the bite of spice at the end was a perfect send off for the other options on the plate. The dolmas were tender and the grape leaves had a nice snappiness. The cachik was a tasty addition to the platter. This was my first time trying this item and I was happy to gobble it up. The hummus was 10/10. Smoothy, cool, garlicky without being overpowering and just down right comforting. It was doused in olive oil to be soaked up with pita bread. I could eat this hummus all day. The combo gyro plate was interesting. If you sampled the meat on it's own, it seemed dry, but once we mixed the meat with the salad, we knew we had discovered galore perfection! Every bite was spicy, fresh, meaty and briney. The fires came out perfectly steaming and crispy. The seasoning was excellent as it wasn't your typical table salt, but a mix of spices that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The redeeming quality about this place that will bring me back is how they treated the children. The chef in the back was so excited to see the kids that he added extra items in the sampler platter. He made sure to come out and greet us and came out to give us a hearty goodbye. I appreciate places that welcome large families. Overall, the experience was 3.5 stars since we had to ask for utensils and silverware. If their service improves, I will done in again, but for now, I will be adding this place to my take out options. I can't wait to try the gyro wraps next time.

This review is specifically for the pizza. Other reviews seem very positive for the gyro plates. We ordered the gyro pizza and added jalapeño. I expected there to be gyro meat and toppings associated with gyros - red onion, olives, feta, white sauce, peppers, etc. it's literally just gyro meat. They are very generous with the cheese - the pie is heavy! But the amount of cheese was honestly overwhelming. And much of the gyro meat was under the cheese which was confusing at first. There are other toppings you can add at a modest cost and if I had known it was just the meat I would have added other toppings. But the soggy pie and heavy cheese means we probably won't be coming back. At least for the pizza. Maybe next time for the sandwiches and the knafe dessert. Hard that pizza is the first part of their name but that was the experience we had. I know the previous business left behind a great pizza oven so maybe they felt inclined to use that in their menu but maybe their strengths lie elsewhere. The interior looked good and the staff was very nice. Wishing the new business well.

So, I saw some great reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. They have a special going on now, any gyro plate 10.99, not bad. I phoned in an order and headed over. This place is hidden near Travis Air Force Base. Honestly when I drove over last night I thought I took a wrong turn since the street was abandoned. When I found the location and went inside the first thing I noticed was the interior. It is so clean and inviting, I just wish they had more customers.. definitely deserved to have all seats filled. The cashier told me they've been around for 5 months. As the reviews mentioned, don't let the name fool you, they sell pizza AND authentic mediterranean dishes as well ^_^Chicken gyro plate: 9.5/10 the only thing that was different for me was the rice. By itself I wouldn't get it because it was a bit soft but when mixed with the chicken it wad a perfect pairing! The salad with the tzatikiki sauce was so fresh and delicious! They also give you a pita bread, I put the salad, chicken, hummus in mine... soooo good! The grilled tomato as well was delicious, so simple and it complimented the other dishes well. Combo gyro plate: 10/10 boyfriend loved everything, similar to chicken but was half and half w/ beefKunafe: 8/10 traditional dessert, unfortunately with my order being to go, it did get soggy and the cheese hard. I reheated it in the microwave but I know it would have been a 10 if I had it fresh. If you take it to go I would recommend to air fry it for a bit to rejuvenate it :)Service: 10/10 the man working the front was so sweet, I saw the cooks in the back working hard, looked to maybe be owner and wife? But I did not ask, me and the man met eyes so I waved and he was so so nice. When I finally got my food they all thanked me. The way he lit up seeing a customer was just so sweet. I can tell they put love in their food and the portions are quite generous for the price. Please go try out this business and give them the recognition they deserve! Will definitely be coming back to take a break from the heavier dishes out here.

I may have found another favorite mediterranean restaurant. Pizza Men Mediterranean just opened and we dined in. The restaurant is clean and has a nice casual vibe. The service was great, very welcoming. We ordered the salmon plate and kofta kabob plate and they were both delicious!! The salad and hummus were very tasty and refreshing. I am definitely coming back and to try their halal pizzas.

I got the falafel wrap, I was hungry and even though it took 17 minutes to make it was worth the wait. Very tasty and a nice touch was the garlicky fries that were included in the very reasonable price. The falafels were crunchy outside soft inside and the lavash wrap was not a tortilla. I am sure to try the meat wrap soon. The dining area is barren and can use some decor. I will come back soon

This place is a hidden gem located where you wouldn't think there would be a restaurant. I think a lot of people get confused with the name having pizza in it. I've eaten here a few times and the food is great. Portions are huge and the employees are always so nice. You should definitely give them a try.

My husband & I came here tonight for the first time, and wow, we were so happy we did. We got the Cacik appetizer which was amazing. Creamy with homemade pita bread, yumm.... I had the beef kabob plate and hubby got the lamb- beef gyro plate. Both were super flavorful and it was hard not to finish it all (wanted some for lunch tomorrow ). The biggest surprise on both plates was the rice. I don't know what was in but holy moly, it was sooo good! We will definitely be back and plan on trying the pizza. Love how close it is to our house, too.

We stopped by Pizza Men today to dinner. The service was very good. There is plenty of seating inside or you can get your food to go. We waited about 20 minutes for our order but it was so worth the wait. First of all, the food portions are HUGE. Second, everything we tried was delicious. The food was packed very well. The sauces were even wrapped in foil to prevent spillage. We will definitely be coming back to try the pizza. We saw some being made while we were ordering and it looked so good!

First time eating here, honestly didn't like it. Co worker got sick . Threw his whole wrap away
