Farmers Market in Pinole is the place to be at Saturday Morning. I been attending this market since 1998. Plenty of people exactly when the market open9amt 9am. I love the different vendors at this market. If you need to parking suggestion is not to park at St. Joseph and King Valley since they want their lot to be use for customers.

Small and plenty. The location and parking is quick and easy. The vendors and quality is great. I was able to get the yummiest spicy hummus and fresh pita chips. Produce and the deals were great and very nice customer service. I posted a pic (1/2 eaten) of J & J Farms Trail mix because for $5 not only was it a great amount the nuts are fresh and the raisins were plump and juicy. I'd like more raisins personally. Now I know why my in-laws are often wanting this farmers market to be in their Saturday morning routine. Next time, I'm getting some authentic Filipino cuisine, Dinuguan and got to try some lumpia because one must treat themselves. Also. I've been looking for local honey and this spot also has a vendor.

It may be one of the smaller Farmer's market, but it's definitely neighborly. The parking lot across from King Valley Tea House is home to the market, which boasts fresh produce, a variety of food vendors- baked goods, baos, granola, hummus, tamales, Filipinx food, and kettle corn/ice cream.Family and I had come for dim sum at King Valley on the weekend and found ourselves wandering through the market while we waited for our reservation. Some stalls are cash only (produce tents) while some accept credit card (kettlecorn) so make sure you're financially prepared! My parents ended up getting some produce for pinakbet (a traditional Filipinx dish) and a type of "sticky corn" they've only tried in the PI. I got a large bag of freshly popped kettle corn for $15. The kettle corn lady was so sweet - she overheard us talking about how we didn't have breakfast yet so she gave us a small bag of plain popcorn on the house. I would try some of the savory meals over the weekend - the bbq smelled so good!

It's a small one compared to most Farmer's Markets I have been to, but the variety is impressive: plenty of vendors offering different products: fruits, veggies, eggs, seafood, fresh baked bread, household items like soap, even. There are a few vendors selling the same exact items as others, but the pricing is pretty much exact. It'll have to come down to the quality and appearance should choices need to be made. There's a duo providing the music which added to the overall vibe. There's also a Filipino pop-up eatery which was popular - there was never less than a line of three customers waiting for their turn for some made to order grubbies!Hubbers and I were able to purchase some veggies for the week. They are pricier than what you will find in the grocery store, but the quality is unquestionably far more superior. The only let down was that dogs aren't allowed... :( But we understand. There are rules and protocols to be followed. Otherwise, it was a good run. Definitely something to do on a Saturday morning.

Part of Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association of the Bay Area in Contra Costa County. They are open year round every Saturdays from 9AM to 1PM in downtown Pinole between Fernandez Ave. and Pear St. It may not be the biggest, as it's probably one of the smaller ones, but you know sometimes good things comes in small packages. It's basically located on a small parking lot, but the layout is easy to navigate. You have the fruits and veggie vendors on one side and food vendors on the other side. There's also a food stands that sells eggs and another that sells freshly-caught seafood. What also surprised me (but I shouldn't be anymore) are Ilocano vendors selling Filipino/Ilocano veggies. We've been eating Marungay (Moringa in English and Malungay in Tagalog) all of our lives and has recently been considered a "Superfood" and one of the vendors have them available. The leaves on these are pretty, healthy for you and are packed with vitamins and rich in antioxidants. It's a very laborious effort to prep them for cooking, but it's worth it. They also have my favorite veggie, which is the bitter melon or bitter gourd. The bitter the better. Say that with a thick Filipino accent. Again, they may not everything that you are looking for here, but they have plenty enough varieties that are in season that'll satisfy your veggie needs. Also for a brief moment, there were so many Filipinos here that I thought I was back home in Daly City. There's plenty of parking spots available with an adjacent lot across the market and there's plenty of street parking available as well. Easy in and easy out.

I've been to Pinole's Farmers' Market quite a few times. The selection varies depending on the season. I usually find a few good pieces of fruit and veggies. On my most recent visit I tried Ching Turo-Turo. I ordered some Sisig and pork lumpia. The staff was friendly, fast and helpful. They give you plenty of food, making sure to fill the container up to the top. I appreciate that so much! The sisig was full of flavor and onions. It was was warm and I couldn't help but to sit down on the curb across from the restaurant and start digging in. The lumpia were crispy and full of flavor as well. The bee's also thought my food smelled good too, as they began to swarm while I was eating. I took the rest of my food home and fried and egg to eat with my sisig. I will definitely be going back to Pinole's Farmers' Market and I would purchase more food from Ching Turo-Turo again.

I like this small farmers market in Pinole. They have just the right amount of vendors that provide a little bit of everything. You can get hot fresh food, refrigerated food to take home, they even have seafood that you can purchase for preparation at home, freshly made hummus and granola and cupcakes, and the best of all are all the produce items. I've been introduced to some new things that I've been glad to trylike jujubes. I can also find my go-to vegetables like greens and different kinds of kale, and other in season fruits and vegetables. They don't have activities like some of the farmers market in Berkeley or Oakland that have people playing chess and live music musicians. It is still a nice morning out with the family.

Love coming here when I get a chance. Always like their Balut Lady. The eggs are just right. It's a great atmosphere when the weather is nice and you have fresh vegetables and cooked food to try.

I Always go there to get pork skewers and fresh squids! Parking is hard to find make sure you go there early ! Make sure to bring cash with you , because as far as I know many vendors don't accept card , I had to learn it the hard way I had to pay $3 fee whe I tried to use the ATM from the bank nearby the market to get cash. Overall good experience with the farmers market .
