Love this deli! All the sandwiches I've had here are delicious!The line around noon is always long but worth the wait. The sandwiches are a bit pricy but I spurge on one when I don't have lunch with me. The sandwiches I've had so far are the triple soprano, pastrami, and chicken bacon ranch. For the triple soprano, I ordered mortadella, salami, and ham for the three types of meat. Additionally, I ordered provolone as the cheese and wheat bread. For the pastrami, I ordered it with extra pickles. Delicious! Loved the amount of pickles in it! I liked that the bread was soft and the sandwich was served warm. For the chicken bacon ranch, I like it saucy and with additional avocado. Overall, I like this spot! It's my go to when I don't have lunch with me. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here on the way to a doctors appointment. Hot sandwiches, friendly service. I ordered the Dr. Chu special which was a Turkey sandwich combo with soup.Very clean and very friendly staff.

Visiting mom in the hospital and after feeding the meter, I wandered over to the Pill Hill Deli. It's been here since I worked here over 30 years ago so I had to check it out. Of course ownership and the menu has changed but glad to see a variety of reasonably priced sandwiches. Going with the classic turkey, I upgraded to the wheat roll. When placing the order, the woman asked, "and what kind of cheese do you want?". I said provolone knowing it would be an add on in price. So, a $7.95 sandwich becomes $10 with tax. I give her credit in knowing how to upsell in a way that most folks may not notice. The nickel and diming really bothers me but it is what it is. At least the sandwich came with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, pickles and mustard included.It's what I wanted, it hit the spot. Nice to have a whole wheat roll. This is a great little sandwich spot that is walkable for lunch from my house. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty and vary from simple (my aesthetic) to slightly more adventurous standard fare. I get the "Hot Turkey" on Dutch crunch, which is delicious. My partner gets the cold salami sandwich with sprouts on a whole wheat roll, which he confirms tastes every bit as good as it looks. Mostly, we love that the sandwiches are a reasonable size and assembled well, so they are on the less messy side.It is a two person operation, with one gentleman making the sandwiches and and a friendly cashier taking orders. She always repeats back your order, which is very appreciated because I am usually holding something or other and it's nice to know they want to get the order right.As far as reasonably priced, fresh sandwiches go, Pill Hill Deli excels.

The lowest tier sandwich possible. I don't really know what else to say. Poor bread, meat and cheese. It's like they tried to make the cheapest worst sandwich possible. And they succeeded. I'm happy they enjoy some success in the neighborhood but it's not for me at all.

Traditional sandwiches with fast, friendly service. It's a small establishment so they ask customers to wait outside till your order is ready. I didn't mind.

I ordered chicken pho a few weeks back, my total was $8 and some change..$10 should cover me, right!? Went yesterday placed my order total $10.20...handed her $10, can I bring you 20cents I work across the street. Nope.Really?! I have to go get 20 cents to complete this order? Are you gonna at least make my order?!?Yes, we already started.Ok.....on my walk back for 20 cents, I decided I no longer wanted the soup, definitely wasnt going back...ever again. So unfortunate, lost a customer over 20 cents.

This place was just what I needed today while in the neighborhood and feeling hungry. So glad I stopped here for lunch! I'm sometimes hesitant to even order tuna from a deli because I'm a bit picky and don't like sweet relish in tuna. I was thinking of trying the taco Tuesday street tacos, but opted for tuna on toast instead. So happy I did! The tuna was spectacular! Great flavor, super fresh with crisp lettuce, perfect toast, a little Mayo and sliced dill pickles! My friend had the Turkey club, which also looked amazing. The staff are very friendly, their prices are great, food is delicious and it comes out quick! What more could you want from your neighborhood deli? I will definitely be back and will have to try those tacos next time..! Come check them out.!

The food is always delicious and the customer service is very pleasant. The simplest turkey sandwich was the absolute best I ever had.
