Pho Papa

We went here with the whole family - two kids and the hubby. We all enjoyed the pho. The kids especially loved the meatballs here. I will say, there are no additional appetizer options, the menu is strictly pho (and some desserts). I am amazed at how clean this place is. This is probably one of the cleanest pho restaurants I have been to. The floors feel clean, and the restrooms smell nice. It adds to the clean-tasting pho. The service is fine - very to the point and quick :)

This place is a great pho establishment with delicious pho! My friends and I often come here after a trip to Eastridge. Parking is easy to find, as you can park near Target. There is plenty of seats inside so we don't have to wait long to get seated.I usually get the large bowl of pho ($16) because it less than a dollar more than the regular. The pho is very filling and quite delicious. The broth is quite light and has fair amount of meat. I love the fatty brisket especially. There is also no cilantro which is a plus for me personally (since I don't like cilantro). The main downside is the service as it can be rough at times. Once you get seating, the service will expect you to know what to order, so be prepared for it. Definitely come here to enjoy some delicious pho.

actually might be some of the best pho ive ever had, at least in the bay area, and this coming from a viet botn and raised in westminster/gg or oc in socal. very quick and attentative service. nice and clean interior and vibes for eating and chatting with a meal. one of the most fragrant and cleanest tasting pho broths ever. i love how the noodles were a good chewy texture for me and the soup honestly saved me from my hangover. a struggle to recommend or gatekeep this place haha

This was one of our go-to places for pho, but during my last visit my pho broth tasted watered down and diluted with msg water. It lacked the real beefy richness that I'm used to in a pho broth. This wasn't the first time -- during my last couple of visits I've noticed the pho quality was not same as it was in the past. There was also very little meat given this time. It was very disappointing and enough for me to take this restaurant out of my pho rotation.

Everything tastes amazing, and the service is impressively quick. The moment I was seated, the waiter was ready to take my order right at my table.The Pho Pap's #1 Beef Noodle Soup was fantastic! The soup base was flavorful and clear, without being too salty. The combination of steak, brisket, flank, tendons, and fat brisket was a great mix of textures, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, chilies, and lemon juice really elevated the dish!

One of my favorite Pho spots in SJ. The extra order of beef ribs is a must! The meat is so tender that it falls off the bone. Broth is rich and flavorful, and they don't skimp out on how much meat they give you. Service has always been fast and efficient, and is super clean inside. It's a typical Vietnamese restaurant, so don't expect top notch service, they just take your order and brings it out, very minimal talking. Overall, a solid pho place , just wished they closed a bit later in the night !

My favorite pho place ever. 10/10. The workers are really kind and can speak English or Viet. The service is also really great and fast. I always get their thicker noodles and is my go to whenever I am in SJ. The interior is very nice and very clean. I love the wood aesthetic.

Parking is really easy in front with a large parking lot. Inside is a standard Vietnamese pho atmosphere very comfy. We got our food pretty quick after ordering. Pho papa broth on their pho is super tasty and rich. I love Vietnamese dessert also! It's a herbal drink with jelly! Definitely a good place to go to!

The broth tastes really rich yet wasn't as fatty as a lot of places. I liked their noodles and they gave a solid amount of meat that also wasn't too fatty. I appreciated how much green onion they give in their bowls. A pretty moderately priced pho place that will definitely leave you full!

Solid pho spot located in a busy (Target) plaza. This is one of those old school, no frills kinda place with delicious broth and delicious meat. They load the bowl with tons of meat, green onions, and flavor.Service is pretty decent and the waiter was attentive. Would recommend trying to go at an off time to make sure you can get a table, because this place does get busy!Overall, would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a tasty bowl of pho.
