We ordered the #1 Pho, and it was absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced--not too salty and not too bland. The beef was tender, and the noodles had just the right texture. The portion size was generous, and all the fresh herbs and toppings made it even better. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It's clear that they care about quality and their customers. If you're a pho lover or just craving some comfort food, I highly recommend stopping by Pho 99. This place truly deserves all the praise it gets!

Mixed feelings about the food here. This review is not a first impressions but my collective thoughts over a period of several visits in a period of about 6 months. It's not bad if you're in the mood to try a new restaurant or just want to eat cause you're hungry but if you're looking for something that's more than just "meh" this might not be it. My husband and kids ordered pho and they said it was decent. Not the best they ever had but passable. I ordered bun bo hue and asked for shrimp paste for some more umami. Unfortunately they didn't serve any and it left the soup missing that "something" extra. The noodles were also slightly overcooked. The egg rolls were good but it was slightly too oily which was disappointing. Whatever you do, stay away from Thai/Chinese inspired dishes. My husband ordered the spicy lemon grass chicken and it was bland. The chicken seemed like an after thought and it was just sad overall. From that experience we stopped exploring the menu and questioned why not reduce the menu and focus only on just Vietnamese food? Service there is decent. They welcome you, take you to a table then check in on a rare occassion. If you're not needy and want to be left alone while you eat you probably won't miss them. Restaurant is clean and it can get busy (still don't understand why though).

Use to be my go to pho place but over time food quality has gone down. Ordered pho last night and the broth was watered down. Flavor was lacking even when adding the extras. Quite disappointing.

This is my favorite pho spot in Fremont area. I've been to quite a few in the area, but this one has the best food in my option from the pho to the appetizers like the fried egg rolls and fresh spring rolls. I always order the pho with meatballs and I am full after. Sometimes with pho you don't get full, but I love this pho. I also like the egg rolls and the shrimp spring rolls. The inside is very clean and nice. There is lots of room for parking too as it is in a plaza with 99 Ranch as well. The service is always good too and they are accommodating both when I order in and take out.

The place is pretty clean and updated for a pho place. The menus are in plastic sleeves and displayed well with pictures. We ordered a Bun Bo Hue (BBH) and a Pho Tai Gan. The BBH soup was flavorful and not too salty, came with veggies such as cabbage, basil, jalapenos, and even cilantro. The pho tai broth was good and the gan had some very fatty pieces. Some of The servers dont smile but thats ok as they are very attentive and water was refilled and they have the nice insulated stainless steel cups. Would recommend this place but it's next to the ever loving 'phin cafe'.

Tasty food and well lit interior. Staff are nice and friendly. They can get slammed with dinner rushes, so clearing tables might take a little while. This is a popular spot for Vietnamese food as it's located in the 99 Ranch supermarket plaza. Lots to choose from the menu!

Came in on a Thursday noon, was not too crowded. There are quite a lot of seats inside. Parking isn't too hard either since it's in a court with a 99 Ranch. The employees did not give great service but met our requests. After we ordered, the pho took a bit longer than we are used to at other pho places - almost 10 minutes. I ordered a Medium bowl and my husband ordered a Large. The broth was clear and tasteful, and there was quite a lot of meat inside.Total came out to $32 before tip. You pay in front with a cashier. Would come again for the clear broth, but the service like mentioned is mediocre.

Was in Fremont and Daughter was craving Pho. Found this place in yelp and it was food good. I got combo plate of rice, pork chop, fried chicken wing and eggroll( can skip eggroll next time). I also ordered a fried egg. I like that my combo plate comes with a cup of chicken broth as well. Other places you have to ask for it. Daughter got the Beef Pho soup and her BF got a combo plate that came with rice pork chop, sausage and crab cake. Server was fast. Place is nice and inviting. Will be stopping here again when in Fremont.

I came here on a Saturday night about a hour before closing. Super sad that they told me they were out of pho. I mean how can a pho spot be out of pho?!?! Maybe it was just that good. Not sureSo I ended up getting the rice plate combo special. IT WAS GOOD! I really really enjoyed the pork chop flavor. They marinated and sauced it really well. Just sad that the pork chop was super thin. I wished it was thicker or one more slice of pork chop. Service was a little tough to get their attention. The staff was all over the place helping other people. So I get it. Just took extra work on my end to get some more fish sauce for my rice. The rice plate has set my expectation high here for the pho. Will come back again to try out their pho combo. Just gotta be here at least 2 hours before closing to make sure they still have pho in stock.

Seems like whenever we come back to this place, it keeps getting worse. Probably our last time. When we lived walking distance we used to go here at least once a week. Quick fix with decent food. Service was always questionable but I mean it's a pho place so can't expect much. My son went here twice within a month.... First he was asked to pay prior to eating. I've never paid before getting my food here. Profiling at its finest. He was with his friends and they aren't trouble makers. He went again and food was meh.... Service again was very poor. They didn't allow separate checks... wrong orders with our take out. Just a waste of money at this point.
