Routed to Phin on the way to work in the South Bay, not hard to get to off 880. Will be back when I have more time to sit and enjoy!Ambiance is pleasant, with quiet jazzy coffee vibe music playing and the gentle sounds of the baristas working away.Aesthetic inside is mellow with hanging plants, comfortable seating with accent pillows, and other earthy-toned features. We ordered an iced ube coffee and an iced pandan coffee. Regular sweetness, not overly sweet. Coffee definitely strong and does the job. The drinks have a vibrant layer of the artesian flavor (ube, pandan...), almost like a creamy foam. Very nice! Also enjoyed an order of the teriyaki masubi (an order comes with 2 masubi, $7). Delicious, not salty. Flavorful teriyaki sauce inside. Highly recommend, will be back!

Cute little coffee shop. There is maybe 8 tables inside and jazz music playing in the background. It was busy but didn't feel busy. We had a few people waiting for their drinks in front of us but you couldn't tell bc everyone was seated at tables rather than hovering around the barista. Hubby ordered the salted coffee and I got the coconut coffee both less sweet . Both were good. Coconut coffee was more of a frappe but coconut was not over powering. They didn't used phin coffee for our drinks it looked like they used espresso shots. But still tasty nonetheless.

They need to open another location. It's nonstop busy on a Monday morning. There is limited seating so make sure you get here early or you may just get lucky and a table will open up, The coconut coffee is amazingly delicious. The coconut flavor comes through the bold Vietnamese coffee beans. I'm currently pregnant and unfortunately I can't have too much caffeine per day. I had to resist the urge to not finish my cup of coffee, because it was so damn good. The good thing is that I get to save half and enjoy it tomorrow. Five stars to Phin Cafe!

Phin Cafe is a hidden gem! I ordered their House Special with durian flavor, and it was absolutely amazing. The drink was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and durian's distinct flavor--bold but not overpowering. You can really taste the quality ingredients and the care they put into making each drink. The cafe itself has a great vibe--cozy, stylish, and a perfect spot to hang out or get some work done. The staff were super friendly and helpful in recommending drinks. If you're a durian lover, this is a must-try! Can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu.Highly recommend!

This is a cool, laid-back coffee shop. They specialize in Vietnamese-style coffees, which adds a unique twist to the menu. While there's a decent amount of seating, it can get packed during busy times, so be prepared to wait for a spot if you plan to enjoy your drink here. We tried the Milo coffee and egg coffee, and both were fantastic. The Milo coffee had the perfect balance of sweet chocolatey Milo and rich coffee, instantly bringing me back to my childhood. The egg coffee was wonderfully creamy with a bold, smooth flavor that left a lasting impression. Highly recommend both drinks.Overall we really enjoyed our drinks and would definitely be back. The people there were also pretty nice. Y'all should definitely check them out.

Was in the area and in the hunt of a good matcha latte.Saw this on Yelp and had pretty good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It's packed inside and a good amount of people studying / chit chatting. I got the iced white matcha latte (less sweetened) and it was really good! Not too matcha overpowering but just the right amount. I also got the ube coffee, that one was pretty good as well.I would rate :matcha latte: 7.5/10 - was pretty solid but not super great and amazing.ube coffee: 8/10 - the ube was sooo good with the coffee / very nice blend.

Thought I'd dedicate my 200th to a place where I've spent unreasonable amounts of time writing Yelp reviews for other businesses. Phin Cafe is a sanctuary for the hardcore studier and the once-a-year-catchup-with-a-best-friend-haver alike. Parking is always available, if a bit far, in the 99 Ranch plaza that it's located in, but you'll be hard-pressed to find seating at one of their 8 tables in the afternoons and might have to resort to their standing counter in the back towards the restroom. Natural stone tiles, wooden slats, and hanging lamps create a perfect environment for the cafe jazz that never stops playing in concert with the supporting melodies of coffee grinders and shaker cups.Although the name suggests that they specialize in Vietnamese coffee, funnily enough I don't think I've ever gotten a coffee beverage here. The first drink I ever tried here was their banana matcha, which loved for its natural sweetness and earthy flavor, and as I write this I'm currently sipping on their corn cream black tea (light sweet light ice) recommended by Matt and now, by me. All the staff here are polite, approachable, and local, evident in the familiarity of the baristas with many of those who walk through the door. If you're hungry, they also offer banh mi and other small bites that I also haven't had but appear to be popular.I think I've said my piece about this cafe, so it's up to you to come try it out.

I love this cafe! I always come here for their salted matcha I want to explore their other drinks as well because they're all rated really well! It's a small little place with a nearly quiet atmosphere where you can find people doing their work here. Service is fast and efficient, very personable...you can always ask the workers for some recommendations. You can tell the workers themselves also enjoy what they serve because it tastes great. I recently tried their pandan waffle and it was crispy and tasty, the only thing is, I wished it had more of the pandan flavor! The teriyaki spam musubis were yummy as well, simple classic, decent size too!

I've tried Phin Cafe and Ube coffee is my favorite drink to order. I'm not big on sweets so I order light sweet, and that has the perfect (sweetness) amount of Ube syrup with espresso. The barista's customer service is always top tier and they're super nice whenever I come here. The cafe is very clean and has modern decor, but they do have limited seating so it can be hard to get a seat to meet up with a friend or work on a laptop. I highly recommend this cafe to everyone
