Fresh beignets, yummy breakfast sandwich, hot coffee, and fairly quick service too. The owner is really nice. If you're looking for a tasty brunch that won't break the bank (plenty of $5 items) check this place out. Ambiance - there is a tent so it's covered from the sun and you have the fresh air and blue skies so what's not to like?

You had me at beignets. This is the closest I will get to Cafe du Monde in East Bay and this place impressed me!I've been to Cafe du Monde three times in LOLA and the chef here hits a home run!Light, fluffy with sprinkles of white powered sugar and fried just right!!There are sandwiches and fries on the menu but the hook is the beignets.Parking is free within a certain time period but there is a voluminous amount of spaces. Not much table seating so eat in your car because you have to eat these hot and fresh!This place is open from Thursday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm so plan accordingly. This food cart is located behind the Hyatt house hotel.If you want to savor your beignets with good coffee across the street is Peet's coffee which is great also!Be patient the chef is flying solo but worth every calorie! Enjoy!

I'd been eagerly awaiting the opening of this place. I tried their beignets on a pre-opening weekend and knew they were delicious. The strawberry sauce is a great addition, and they have just the right amount of powdered sugar. They are small and delicious. Great taste and texture.Today I alsogot poutine. It was delicious and one of the better ones I've had in the US. Cheese curds could be a tuny bit meltier, but the overall experience was excellent.The person who runs the place is friendly and helpful, and he prepares orders quickly. There's a table to sit at, and he'll bring your order to you if you're eating there.Great food and great service; I highly recommend this place!

Beignets lover here. I love a good walk and beignets. I live close by so this is my the weekend is about to start treat they are only open Thursday-Sunday. I haven't tried any other food items besides the beignets but plan to

Great food, great prices! We got the potato puffs (super silky mashed potato croquettes that are deep fried), beignets, BLT, poutine, and breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious; smallish portions but good value for the price, lets you try more things.

Just stopped by for a quick coffee while charging a car nearby. Tried out the Beignet. Wow I'm not a pastry guy but these are worth stopping by for. Fresh out the fryer, warm delectable. Approved

The beignets and churros here were delicious! Fresh out the fryer. The strawberry sauce with the beignets was refreshing. I'm usually pretty picky about churros but I loved these ones - crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Will be coming back.

This little gem is slightly hidden but quite excellent. I love the BLT and the fries... they are hand cut, fried to order and honestly some of the best I've ever had. Also, the guy who runs it is super friendly. I plan on trying the whole menu at some point but I'm stuck on what I like!

Hands down, the best beignets I've had in the bay! They are made to order and come out hot and fresh every time, and they are the perfect blend of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The strawberry sauce for dipping them was the perfect complement. I also had a breakfast sandwich with bacon last time I was there - and these are amazing as well (very well priced compared to other breakfast sandwiches!). Would definitely recommend checking out this food truck if you're in the area and looking for a quick and delicious breakfast option, or even on the way from SF to the east bay, since it's worth a quick pit stop!
