My family and I have been here for many years, as it has been our go to family style restaurant. This is the place for large groups like families but it is possible to have a small group as well. The food is tasty, nothing to pinpoint. Though, this time we ordered a set meal, the portions are a lot larger. I definitely loved the sea cucumber, mushroom beef, scallops and lobster (some were not pictured cuz we were hungry xD)Service was attentive and prompt. They do not pre-charge a service fee.

Siu Mai amazing, with the most softest meat, nice pieces of shrimp, just enough fish eggs, and no cartilage to stop the chew. The Har Gow had a little too hard shell, probably sitting in steamer too long, but good enough shrimp. The pork riblets had a little too much garlic for standard smell, but I liked it. There was more, but that should be enough for you to decide if you want to try it.The atmosphere is lots of loud cantonese people trying to get the best table and order stuff not too sweet and not too spicy. That means no white pepper, no soy sauce, no pot of chili sauce... nothing but a small blank table to eat at. They do have about 8 x big 8 person tables, and 10 x 4 people table that barely fits 2 people and all of the dim sum they can eat, and the 10 x 2 seater tables where mostly you see 1 person ordering 8 dim sum items and no space for their teapot. Be ready to wait once it fills up, and a 1130am on a Tuesday still filled up and stayed full with 20 people waiting outside at 1230pm when our check was plopped down to hint, "get out", but nicely because we ordered so much.Parking is a typical asian super market plaza, most of the time your are circling behind slow drivers, and the spaces are not large and not enough if there is a decent restaurant, which this is it.Yes, come back if nearby, not worth the drive if you are fremont and south or alameda and north, or danville and east. I will come back for the Siu Mai.

We recently went on vacation and asked our neighbors to collect our mail for us. As a thank you, we invited them to dinner at Pearl Bay Tea House. We went on a Friday night at 5:30pm. There were five of us. This was our second visit in three days as we had just been here for Dim Sum on Tuesday. I suggested that we order a soup plus one dish per person. I let them choose first so I could fill in and balance the meal. For soup, we got a West Lake Beef Soup, one that they had never had before but thoroughly enjoyed. The wife ordered a Live Fish to be steamed; The husband ordered Mongolian Beef; Their daughter ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice; My wife ordered Gai Lan with Oyster Sauce; I ordered a Steamed Pork Patty with Calamari. Everything was served steaming hot. All of the flavors were spot on. It was the first time that I remember being fixated on the Mongolian Beef. It was delicious and much better than any that I had before. I was pretty sure that I had taken pictures but could not find them on my phone so maybe I was out of sorts that night.

Such a good spot for dim sum! Their menu items are so authentic and cooked perfectly. Their chicken feet has such good flavor and there is so much meat on the bones. The siu mai and short ribs is so tender and flavorful.

As expected, great experience for a Saturday dim sum event. We ordered our usual but added in salt and pepper fried tofu, which was phenomenal! All other regular items were amazing.

Came here on a random Wednesday for a lunch with family friends. Surprised how popping it was at first bad when the food came out one after the other in a constant timely manner, I can see why it's so popular. The decor is pretty average for these Cantonese banquet style restaurant with the live fish tanks in the back. The seating arrangement can be small if you are larger person. So be ready to be a bit tight with your company elbow to elbow. The food is def the highlight. The lobster chow fun was among the top things my family raved about. I like the squab - flavorful and slight gamy taste to it. The bill came out to be less than $300 with tips for over 10 ppl and there was plenty left for takeout. Def give it a try. Some dishes were a tad bit oily but it's old school.

Not sure why such low star rating at time of this posting. Went at 2pm on a Sat with no wait. Quick and efficient service. I don't think every staff member speaks English, but enough do that it's not a problem. You order dim sum off a menu which includes color pictures of most items as it seems carts are mostly gone post-covid. Won't blow your mind, but good taste at a good price. Solid 4 stars and worth returning to.

I've been here a few times. They have ample parking since it's in a plaza with a grocery store next door. It gets pretty busy, but it is pretty big inside. Most of the staff do not speak English very well, but this is to be expected. However, the quality of food and pricing are worth it in my opinion. I absolutely love their Egg Yolk Custard Bun. This is the best i've ever had and it makes my mouth water every time I start thinking about it. This is a MUST TRY.These are the items we ordered:Har Gow (5/5) and Shu Mai (5/5): These were delicious! Can't go wrong with the staples !Chicken Feet with black bean sauce (4/5):Beef tripe(3/5): I'm not a fan of tripe so i barely ate this dish. My family thought it was okay. This wouldn't be something I ordered again. Salt and Pepper Tofu (4/5: I'm not a huge fan of tofu, but these were pretty good. They were seasoned very well.Home Style Chow Fun (4/5): These were good, very flavorful. I just wish there was more noodleSalted Fish Fried Rice (4/5): This was good, but a bit salty. Hence the nameSteamed Rice Noodle with Shrimp (5/5): This is one of my favs. I always love the rice noodles with shrimp, chives or pork inside.

Pretty solid dim sum place. The staples are all good here but the Portuguese Egg Tart really stands out. Lo Mai Gai, Har Gow, Siu Mai, and both the steamed and baked pork buns are yummy! This is also located in a plaza so there's a lot of parking. Service is quick and efficient as well!

Decent dim sum place. I'd say it's 3.5 stars. Rounded up to 4 stars. There was a 30 minute wait to get seated at 2pm for a table of 4 this Saturday. They have all the usual dim sum variety. We sampled the usuals: Har Gow, Siu Mai, Beef Cheung Fun, Fried Shrimp Balls, Beef Meat Balls, Egg Rolls, etc. Everything was good.
