I came by here for something, totally forgot the reason and saw what I thought was a farmer's market. But it wasn't. This was a cool show and we saw the end of it. But it was fun looking at all of the people selling their wares. I'm glad that we went. While not a destination, if I were in the area, I would come by.

Patchwork puts on shows in numerous locations. I went to the Jack London Square show. Surprisingly, there were several things that interested me, however, I did stick to my plan; not buying anything until I downsize what I have now. I did think that most of the items were reasonably priced.Food was available from Tacopocalypse, a gathering of food trucks. The food looked good and smelled wonderful. The lines were long; they snaked around the whole area and it was hard to find the end to get in the right line. I decided to bypass the food.I am going to be on the lookout for more Patchwork shows.

The honey and I caught the tail end of the Patchwork show (after having serious issues finding parking) and it was totally worth it!The prices were excellent, especially in end of day we just want to get rid of it mode.We ended up going havsies on this gorgeous crocheted blanket from WestAndEast that the honey ADORES. It is so soft and fluffy and not too warm. And the service was so friendly!I also ended up getting a hat from Woolables that was so.much.fun! It was xmas colored and had the cutest little pom pom at the top! So adorbs! We will definitely come back next year! This is the type of craft fair we love!

If you're looking for local items, this craft fair was full of a wide variety of things to choose from. It seemed like there was a lot of items for kids this year. I saw some really awesome things and even bought a few. I bought some ornaments for gifts and I also picked a home made make up bag. They had a deal buy two for $14! I needed one and it's larger than the others I've seen. I also picked up another one for a friend. It was probably the best thing I could've purchased. I've seen some of the other vendors at various craft fairs - prices were all over the map. The spacious area of Jack London Square made it easy to navigate despite the crowds. The photobooth was super fun. I still need to download our pics. Overall, I would definitely stop by one of these again, especially when I like giving home made gifts and supporting the local economy.

Very interesting to browse through this fairly large indie craft fair and look at local crafts and arts. There was everything from chocolate to jewelry and clothes to metal and woodworks. Prices were all over the map depending on the vendor. I found some really cute and enchanting custom LOTR necklaces and exquisite tea-infused chocolates. Didn't approve of the entry into the fair though. Why must I give out my email address to sign up for the mailing list before going in? It was really confusing. I would have also appreciated a place to sit or to buy drinks/snacks inside.

I went to the Patchwork Show last year. Any time there is a chance for me to see and support local small business and their work, I am all for it. The woman checking people in at the front door was nice to me. She gave me a free Yelp tote bag even though I forgot my password (I had it reset to a new one recently) and couldn't check in. The place was spacious and fitted many vendors. Merchandise included handmade soap, skincare, and bath tolietries, clothes, jewelry, acessories, handbags, chocolates, preserves, and the list goes on. Even though there were some pricey items, there was plenty of merchandise for those who are on a budget. If nothing else, you could just browse around. There were plenty of edibles to sample. I ended up getting a jar of violet preserves from a French couple. I also enjoyed some carrot preserves from another vendor. The flavor was nothing you would expect from a carrot. If I had more money on me, I would have definitely bought a jar. I received a small peppermint soap sample. My friend and I enjoyed sampling the chocolates with unique flavor combinations. I wasn't able to go to the 2015 show but hopefully I can attend the 2016 one.
