One Pot Shabu Shabu - Cupertino

delicious if you like hot pot. but if you don't why are you reading this?anyway i once tipped 10c by accident and they still let me in the building.

I've been to another one pot in San Jose before so I knew what to expect. And this one is just as good as that one! The atmosphere is actually better here, but it is smaller and more crowded.Still has the yummy broths. I like to garlic miso but others like the tonkotsu. You get a lot of veggies with your meat entree so don't worry about that. An entire plate per person. I love the steaks but the scallops are also extremely fresh and good. The fish cakes are okay if you want something a little different. Of course, better to come with a small group and share!And $10 for beer and/or sake is a good deal to me! Service is fast. But be aware, shabu shabu is a fairly long meal, so plan accordingly.

Go here if:- You like Shabu Shabu- Are trying to impress a date (unless you're wearing white) - Don't want to wait 2 hours for that hyped up curry place next doorJokes aside, my partner and I have gone here over 50 times over the past several years (and now I care to drop a review ). Lighting is dim and jazz music usually plays, giving off a nice date night vibe. Also their sesame sauce is ranked high on my list!

I love this location because there's a Sanrio and Daiso right next door. When we arrived we were able to check in on the iPad and only had 2 parties a head of us. The wait time was not long at all and we were able to order pretty shortly after sitting down. I ordered the house special with regular kobe beef and a side of rice. I always make sure to ask for the hot drops and add in green onion to my broth. small warming, but the booth seating can be a little awkward. Although there is a glass panel separating you from the table next to you they still feel very close. I prefer the single pot seating near the kitchen when i'm only with 1 other person.

Meat quality is great! I love the lamb and beef tongue. It's awesome it comes with choice of either white rice or mixed purple rice and a stack of veggies! The restaurant is dim and has glaring lights depending on which side of the table you decide to sit. Could improve on the lighting! Service is great, friendly staff.

Very nice food, veggie portion is huge! Loved it!The soy milk base tasted good, meat was fresh too.

This place can definitely get busy and there are no reservations. The service is good and the workers are friendly. They would repeatedly come and check up on us and the food came out pretty fast.The meats were very good quality, and I thought the serving size was perfect. The sauces they provided, went well with the meats. The sesame sauce they had here tasted fresh. I got the sukiyaki and the soy miso. Both were very flavorful and delicious. I would definitely come here again.

We ordered the Kobe meat and a kurobuta shoulder and scallops. The pork shoulder was delicious. The broth is the house special. I come back specifically for this broth soy milk + miso. I have been to other hot pot but non had this broth combination. Yummy. Next time I will get a bigger portion of the pork shoulder.

Updating our review as we still regularly come here and ADORE this Shabu place. With the high quality meats, flavorful broth, and bomb sesame and ponzu sauces - we literally haven't found anything that compares; especially given the price point is similar to other not as good Shabu places nearby. Our favorites are the American Kobe (better than the rib eye in our opinion!) and the house special / garlic miso broths. Their sauces are both so delicious and pairs well with the beef and veggies. Tip: they also do take out for your DIY Shabu needs and they sell the sauces in bigger containers! We usually will order their meats and sometimes their broth to add our own veggies at home!

A couple of girlfriends and I decided to come for shabu shabu during lunch as it was a cold day. In general, it was a good option for shabu shabu. Decent lunch combo selections and I like that the location is walking distance to some of our favorite dessert places for after lunch. :)
