On the Vine Catering

On the Vine Catering was a required food vendor for my wedding venue and I'm so grateful that was the case! Everything worked seamlessly leading up and on the day of. Torrey is such a pleasure to work with. She was kind and helpful, and the whole process was so so easy. She helped to coordinate the rentals of the dinnerware and table linens since they came with our contract and was always prompt in response and updating our contract as we made changes. We chose the dual plating option with braised short ribs and seasonal white fish. Late night snack was mini corn dog and French fry bar and we got multiple compliments on the food and late nights snacks. I would highly working with On the Vine if you want a quality professional vendor that will make the process easy and deliver for your big event!

We had a rehearsal dinner for our son and new daughter in law at 3 Steve's Winery in Livermore. On the Vine was a preferred caterer, and from the beginning of plans Torrey was there for us! The event was perfectly executed and the plated dinner was awesome. The entire staff that evening were so nice and helpful and you could tell they wanted it to be a special night for all in attendance. It was everything we had planned on and our son and guests were very happy.We would definitely recommend them to choose for any event!Little did we know that they were the caterer for the wedding the next evening at Nella Terra Vineyards in Sunol. Again, everything was deliciousand I don't believe I have ever been to a more perfect wedding. Two days we will cherish forever!

Wedding food is typically expected to be "ok", nothing special, but we were pleasantly surprised by On the Vine. They were the required vendor at Nella Terra Cellars and we can see why! We had 3 passed h'orderves included and a buffet dinner (2 proteins, grain, bread/butter, and 3 sides) all included. There were many options to choose from and they accommodate for vegetarian and children options. All were top notch and very flavorful; even our families who are typically picky eaters thought the food was very tasty and the portions were substantial. On top of the food itself, their service was incredible. The moment we had our recession, we were welcomed with glasses of sparkling wine and a plate of our h'orderves. They even brought our signature drinks to us twice and more h'orderves as we took family portraits and mingled during cocktail hour. We were well taken care of throughout the night

Everything good that one can possibly say about a catering company, one can say about On The Vine. As a wedding planner, I've worked with dozens of caterers and OTV is truly one of the best. I first experienced On the Vine's food as a guest at a friend's wedding and immediately reached out to get their information for future couples. From the moment you reach out, they respond with immense care and attention to your needs. They are communicative, thorough, and helpful (so so helpful!). They are not the caterers to balk at excessive questions (for which I often have many) and they were always open to hopping on a call or taking a quick trip to your venue. On the day of, Torrey and the entire crew came with their smiling game faces on. They were timely, prepared, joyful, and attentive to the needs of guests. They worked rapidly to set out our tablescapes, helped flip our ceremony/ reception, and offered any available hands for pack up. The food was delicious, speedy, and they were able to make various guest requests happen immediately. If you're looking for a caterer, do yourself a favor and schedule a tasting. You will not be disappointed!

Had a plated dinner for a wedding with 83 guests. Appetizers, salads, Steak Diane, Chicken, & polenta were delicious. Extra attention was paid to the bride and groom at the sweet heart table. Rochelle was the best!

We had our wedding at Nella Terra and On the Vine was our vendor for food. Working with the OTV team has been seamless ever since we booked them. We mainly worked with Torrey and she provides you with ample information to help you with planning. She also gives you heads up on upcoming action items which helps keeps things on your radar. OTV makes sure you are aware of the process regarding rental items and menu tastings.We received wonderful feedback from our guests regarding the food AND service. I didn't hear of any issues from our family and friends. I was personally grateful for whoever brought me some hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour (while I was standing there getting my dress bustled!). I was starving at that point so that was much appreciated! They were also very quick to serve us our drinks and entrees so that we could go around and check in with our guests.It was overall a wonderful experience working with Torrey and the OTV team and would definitely recommend them for future events!

On The Vine is one of our preferred caterers at The Overlook venue, and we love working with them! Their food is delicious, price point is very reasonable, their staff is professional & friendly, and they are quick to respond! We look forward to continuing business with them :)

Torrey, the coordinator, was fantastic! Very kind and flexible, personable. On the Vine Catering was the partner food vendor for our corporate event at Nella Terra Cellars. We had enough food for 150 people, good value for the food we got! They were great for providing vegetarian/vegan options for some of our coworkers, and their salmon was DELICIOUS! I wish we got to try their BBQ, their food was amazing! They provide lots of options and Torrey is very communicative. Our company had policy hurdles to jump over and Torrey was very patient and flexible, fantastic! I would definitely use this catering company again!

My husband ordered catering from here for my graduation party and it was unbelievably delicious! We ordered the California bistro menu and opted to pick it up ourselves (and they were nice enough to give us a discount for doing so). All our guests commented on how good the food was, and we often talk about how we wish we could pick up smaller sized orders just to have for ourselves. I highly recommend On the Vine!

We were recommended to On the vine catering from our wedding venue back in 2019 for our original wedding date which got cancelled due to covid. Jill was compassionate, fair and kind, accommodating to our changes! When we first met Jill back in 2019 we immediately loved her fun & kind personality! Since we lived in Hong Kong at the time it was difficult to arrange weddings with the time difference but Jill was very accommodating and gave us an extra helping hand.On August 2021 we finally had our wedding and Jessica was managing the day of. She is a true professional with a great eye! She is super experienced and lovely to work with!We are SUPER PLEASED with the food too. And our guest all mentioned the food was GREAT!
