On The Roll Catering

I contracted with On The Roll catering for my son's wedding rehearsal and welcome dinner the night before the big day. I would totally recommend using them for your event and it was a pleasure working with Masha and her team. Marsha was patient with me as we worked on our menu offerings and also took our time to decide which catering company to use. She did not pressure me nor ghosted me like other catering companies when I did not decide within a week of reaching out to engage! This was a big event and I wanted to make sure that we found the right combo of a caterer who can work with us and can also offer what we were looking for. (We changed the menu many times and Masha was great to work with! We had 10 appetizers on the menu)We attended a complementary tasting at their location in San Francisco and were impressed by what they offered. The tasting was beautifully presented and portions were generous. I thought this was a nice touch since most catering places charge you an arm and leg for a sampling!We had about 75 guests at our party and it was a themed event. As many of our wedding guests were from out of the area, we wanted to have California offerings. This was a heavy hor d'oeuvres event. We had specific requests for the types of cheeses we wanted to serve, and specific appetizers. Everyone raved about the food and they were delicious. I was so busy that evening that I did not get to sample many of the items we had. Nor did we get any photos of the food! Based on our guests' reviews the burgers, tacos, clam chowder seemed to be the big hits that evening. We were able to enjoy the food as there was some food leftover and totally agree with our guests.Marsha's team, lead by Lena, were professional and did a great job cleaning up and boxing any leftovers. They, very neatly ,put them in our refrigerators. They were on time and arrived with everything we would need and more. I had ordered a huge cake that needed refrigeration and was way too big to fit in our refrigerator! Lena brainstormed and came up with a way to keep it refrigerated until needed. Truly appreciated her creativity!To summarize, I would highly recommend On The Roll Catering for your next event. It was a pleasure working with them. I will definitely engage them for my next big event.

We hired On The Roll Catering for our daughters 30th birthday. Right from the start, communication was prompt and helpful. We were given a lovely free tasting. The event itself was perfection. Our guests raved about the food. A few favorites were the salmon caviar blinis, the mini Reubens and the vegan soba noodle boxes. Lastly the server was a godsend. She took care of everything. It was a joy!

At the last minute we needed a catering option for our son's rehearsal luncheon. On The Roll was incredibly responsive and organized. Despite the last minute and weekend rush- they gave us everything we needed, including hopping on a call, to make the decision. It was like having a partner with you every step of the way.It was unfortunate that the venue couldn't accommodate us and we had to switxh to a restaurant - so we weren't able to engage the On The Roll team (which is why I can only give 4 stars). However - if the food was anything like the pre-engagement service, I'm sure it would have been terrific.

So happy to have discovered On The Roll Catering via Yelp. I reached the sixth floor of life and decided to throw a Zero to Sixty birthday party to gather all our loved ones. Roughly 150 guests attended (heart) I ordered seven different dishes from each of the categories in the Elevated Tapas menu. Surf, Turf, and Earth. Our guests raved about the food. I personally forgot to eat (super busy) so I cannot wait to order again to get my chance to enjoy the bites. The pricing is very reasonable. On the Roll combined with the Weird Barbie Band and our DJs Christina and Kurty made the night SO FUN. Thank you OTR - we will definitely be repeat customers. WARNING - do not try to pull your order together if you are hungry.

"On The Roll Catering" is one of the best catering companies I have ever hired. I hired them, recommended them and attended quite a few events where they catered. This company has always exceeded any and all expectations. Extensive menu to chose from, easy set up, everything provided as discussed and most important exceptional food quality and variety of flavors. I was just looking for their contact info for an upcoming event and noticed a couple of one star reviews. The reviews are very surprising and seem to be reiterated from the same event. The situation described is very much uncharacteristic of the "On The Roll Catering". One of the main reasons I prefer to work with this catering company is their attention to detail and their unmatched desire to please customers. They discuss everything in advance and cover all basis that a client might not even consider themselves. That's professionalism at its best. At the end they deliver what they promise and as discussed. I wish the best to "On The Roll Catering" and highly recommend. Attached are a few pictures from a Baby Shower catering they did for me. Great catering service, delicious food and friendly staff. The owner was super nice and attentive, the event went seamless and all of us enjoyed the food.

Overall excellence from quote and planning to event day food presentation, quality, service and cleanup!!Got the initial project quote over Yelp from Arthur, who was first to reply within 30 minutes. He provided detailed and helpful information which helped with making decisions. Our head of marketing had a great experience working on the detailed order ahead of the event. Originally, she had picked out certain items but was guided to better items more suited for our event location.On the day of the event, the bartender Georgie and server Yelena arrived on time. They expertly looked over the space and made recommendations on how to lay out the the bar and food areas. They came prepared with everything - tables, heat lamp and even brought their own ice. I didn't have to do or worry about anything!! They replenished the delicious food and at the end cleaned up so well. All the guests loved the high quality of the food and the service and how the event was organized. The food was great especially the dessert tray which looked super impressive!Highly recommend for any event - big or small!!

The food and convenience was great. They showed up on time. Very easy to order. We got a bunch of everything.

Masha and her team catered to my son's birthday party and they cheer my guests with yummy food and excellent service.The good thing start with creating a menu, Masha and me had 60+ emails to go through all the detail. She is very responsive and went through small details to adjust food to both adults and kids taste.On the party day, Denis arrive on time and did a great set up. He is professional, friendly and refilled food in time.I will use them again for my future events.

We had a Annual Gala Celebrations and we hired "On The Roll Catering"which is the best catering companies I have ever hired.Lena is awesome with her excellent and managing the events which exceeded any and all expectations. Lena and her assistant from On The Roll Catering set up the food, tables and chairs. FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!The guests raved about the food. Everything was taken care of for us by Lena.
