Ohgane KBBQ x Vons Chicken

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. We had a large group of 10 and made reservations ahead of time. We came on a Sunday night and I believe it was about $40/pp for AYCE before tax and tip which is standard pricing nowadays. I don't remember our servers name but she was super nice and friendly.This was my first time at this location and I love that each table gets a call button, really makes the whole process a lot more efficient for both the customer and server. We ordered so much and left super full. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a kbbq spot and also recommend making reservations if you don't wanna wait long for a table.

I recently visited Ohgane KBBQ, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Having worked at an all-you-can-eat KBBQ place for two years, I had high expectations, but this place did not live up to them.First off, the service was abysmal. Not once did a server, food runner, or any staff member check up on us. Everyone around us was getting attention, but we were completely ignored. We had to flag down someone just to get our missing items, and even then, we were often left waiting for long periods. The worst part? The orders were constantly incomplete, with missing items that never arrived.To top it off, the restaurant wasn't even busy, so there's no excuse for the lack of service. And when our table started piling up with dirty plates, no one bothered to pre-bus, even though we had a stack of plates building up in front of us. It felt like age discrimination, as we were the youngest group in the restaurant and it seemed like the older patrons were being given much more attention.When the server, Calvin, finally came around to do a grill change, he left the old grill sitting on the floor next to our table, which is beyond unprofessional. There was even a moment when I walked to the restroom where I saw our server Calvin standing at the bar on his phone when my girlfriend was at our table waiting for service. The store itself was a mess--dirty floors and clutter everywhere, making the whole experience feel even worse.I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other KBBQ spots that know how to treat their customers and provide a much better experience.And lastly whoever was on aux was playing the saddest simp boy music and really needs to save it for their personal time and their bedroom not during work of all places.

I've been here quite a few times with my friends--it's our go-to KBBQ spot in the area. This is perhaps one of the better and even most viable options around the East Bay due to its price, quality, and customer service. There are a few Ohgane restaurants, but somehow, this one offers the highest quality.Out of the many times I've visited, I've only experienced a long wait once. I usually go during prime dining hours, so it was quite surprising that I was only put on a waiting list that one time. Regardless of whether the restaurant is busy and packed or not, the excellent customer service remains the same. I really appreciate the "call" button whenever we need assistance--we never have to wave down a staff member.Their basic tier of all-you-can-eat is already more than enough. There are so many options, including steak, brisket, and pork belly--all of my favorites. The meats come in fresh and high quality. The selection of sides is also great, including soup, fries, corn cheese, and more.

Good food n good service! They took awhile to get to us all night long. The staff are friendly and customer servicey, but not friendly per se. We felt herded through, which is great at lunch hour line ups, but not at a big dinner where we were willing to pay! They were out of rib eye :( booo, BUT it happens.This was just a sad occurrence I think? The place is very Korean and wonderful!Clean restrooms.Plenty of parking!

Not the best visit I had. Reservations are for groups of 7+, so we came earlier at 6:30pm on a Friday evening to secure a table for us 6.Initially, it was empty. But as it got later and Ohgane got fuller, our service went downhill. Our orders were incorrect and very slow, making it hard to actually eat AYCE. Hopefully the next visit will be better.

Came here for a dinner date. Our server was polite and frequently checked up on us. It was busy so the wait time was about half an hour. The food was delivered at a good pace. It was about an hour stay to be completely full. Would return here once in a while.

All you can eat. Food was pretty good to me. I just wish the service was faster but the staff were nice. It seemed they were low staffed. They did the best to try and change the grill too. But for a weekend day they should have more members. I dropped a star for that.But it was clean on the inside!Everything meat wise was yummy. Sauces were on point. Private lot in front

I really enjoyed the food here but the service was terrible. Our server was great but it was the food deliverer/food busser who was extremely rude. We had a big party so we were separated into 3 tables. The food deliverer kept mixing up the orders between each table. We told him and didn't even take back the wrong order. He basically he made us hand deliver it to the right table. I would also hear him whisper things under his breath.

All I can say is that they need to improve on their service. Servers were consistent in giving us the incorrect items. Our call button was not working, and when we reached out to workers they would ignore us. Servers would also place the tongs on top of the raw vegetables after handling raw meat. They would also not remove empty plates as they gave us more food, making the entire experience uncomfortable and gross.That being said, I had food poisoning ending the night.Really nice interior and the food tasted good though.

Ohgane has always been my go-to spots to grab kbbq as they serve AYCE & the meat quality is really good! The space is pretty spacious which allow a lot of parties, and it's well ventilated. The tables have call buttons so at the press of a button, you can have someone come to the table. My party often orders their brisket, short rib, and pork belly amongst the options they do provide and we love it each time! I often pair it up by adding their green onion salad on the side! It helps balance out with the meat & the feeling of any greasiness. They have a lot of good appetizers to select from, we often go for their corn cheese & tofu soup. Their soups are excellent and packed with a lot of ingredients. At the end of the meal, my bf and I would usually ask for a slushy. We love their lychee slushy! If you're ever in the area & are looking for a new kbbq spot, you should check our Ohgane!
