This is a great restaurant to come to if you have a show later at the Uptown Theater (which we did!). It's very close by. We started with the meatballs, carpaccio, and focaccia. All were fantastic. The wines by the glass were okay - I wasn't a fan of the whites list and I didn't really like the cocktail list. Disappointing. But they had a nice bar so I imagine they could make whatever you wanted. For mains we had two pastas - the Busa, the one with the pork ragu, and then two pizzas (a margherhita and a margherhita with calabrian chilies). The pastas were awesome. They LOVED them. The pizza was meh. I didn't even bring home the leftovers. We liked a lot of what they had and we would definitely return - just not for the pizza.

Good thing we had a reservation because we overheard someone get turned away that didn't have a reservation! We went a few days after Christmas so it was busy and was hard to get a hold of our waiter. We did have to ask two different servers for the drink menu which was a bit annoying and turns out we order from an iPad.The food was okay, we've had better. The highlight was sitting near the pizza oven and watching the guy throw around the dough to make pizza :)I don't think we will be back as there are other places with better food and service.

Visiting Napa on a Wednesday no real plans for dinner. Found ourselves downtown so went to our go to Oenotri. For a weeknight it was fairly busy but not full. Service was good but nothing memorable. Jeremiah was fairly attentive but was busy with a bigger table. Our food arrived within a reasonable time and temperature appropriate. Their pasta was spot on the brussels sprouts were outstanding. I'd highly recommend them. After we completed dinner, we had to wait an unreasonable time for them to clear the plates and I had to ask for the check. After asking I stillWaited a bit before receiving the check. All and all a good experience and a good choice for your pasta and pizza needs.

I absolutely had high hopes for Oenotri but sadly, disappointed with food and service. Let me start with the two star rating. One is for the mixed green salad that had flavor and the other for our busser not waiter who was attentive in getting us waters and providing a bucket of ice for our wine. That's the two generous stars for this restaurant. With open table app, I was able to get a reservation for four with no problem. However, the service is lacking. Poor Jeremiah seemed like he had all the tables to himself and we did not get the attention we need. The appetizers came quick but the entrees took a while. Inconsistent to say the least. Now the food. Pizza prices are $30 for super thin 12 inch with so so taste. The linguini, forget it. Don't even order as it was bland, no flavor at all. It's pasta with cream sauce and maybe 6 pcs of mussels. It's tough for me to go back. There's a lot more options in Napa and this place should be skipped.

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday. We wanted to try out a place we hadn't been. It was a quiet night so we were seated right away, it took a few minutes for our server to come to the table. The menu is small which can be good if you don't want to be overloaded by choices. We got the focaccia with olive oil and the cheese pizza for the table. The focaccia was tasty, the pizza was meh. For the price I was hoping it would be more. It was on the thin side and lacked flavor. The entrees were ok but again for the price I wish there was more. It wasn't a terrible experience but we aren't in a hurry to come back.

We started our dinner with an order of Focaccia with olive oil and the meatballs. Both were really good. I had the ragu and my husband had the shrimp ravioli. My portion was plenty but the ravioli was a little lean. He got 3 ravioli's and 3 med shrimp. We were glad we started with apps or we would have had to hit a drive thru.Service was attentive and very nice. The ambience was chill and a nice place for a date night.

Oenotri, nestled in the heart of Napa, is a gem for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. Renowned for its Margherita pizza, this spot takes the classic to new heights with a crunchy dough and a savory crust that perfectly balances texture and flavor. The addition of a chili oil sauce adds a delightful kick, making each bite a harmonious blend of spice and authenticity.Beyond pizza, Oenotri excels in its pasta offerings, showcasing a mastery of traditional Italian dishes that leave a lasting impression. However, the standout is undeniably the Margherita pizza. Whether you're a local or a visitor, a trip to Oenotri is a must for experiencing this exceptional pizza.

Great spot for dinner with friendsWe had a party of 5 and were seated promptly. Nice table and although busy we had good service. Started with the shishito peppers and the charcuterie. Peppers weee terrific. Some heat and a combo of red and green. The platter was a little sparse and has a couple of mortadella pieces good salami and a few pieces of cheese. Ok but. It great. Although the truffle cheese was delicious We also had the lettuce salad and it was lightly dressed and refreshing. Scallops were enjoyed by all. I tried the tomatoes and the corn - it was creamy and fresh. Good crunch and delicious. We share a margarita pizza. Nice tomato and as pizza should be - thin crust! The pastas were the Arabiata and the pappardelle with ragu. Both had a lot of flavor and pasta was cooked perfectly. The tomato was plentiful in the arabiatta. Well flavored. Ragu was good - mushrooms and pork worked well together. Overall a good experience. We will return.

Good Italiano spot in downtown Napa! We went to dinner here with a group of friends and we had a great time. The ambiance was great and the food was good. We ordered a pizza for the table and it was delicious. (Gotta add the chili sauce, it was fire quite literally) My wife and I ordered two different pastas and split them. My pasta (pictured below) was better than hers (she got a seafood pasta) so I forgot we were supposed to split it and I ate it all myself which did not bode well for me but we survived the evening. Overall, I gave it 4 stars because I think it was a little over-priced and the menu was a bit small but nonetheless it provided us a good meal and a great time with friends!
