Oakland's Fat Man Super BBQ isn't at it's listed location. it's on 14th St.(b/w webster & franklin) in a bank's driveway, daily 11-3.offerings: pork spareribs, beef link's, southern fried chicken, cajun fried red snapper, sides:potato salad, kale greens, veggie baked beans, spaghettiipricing: 1-way (10) 2-way(15), all "dinner" includes 2 sides.eats: cajun fried red snapper (10)w/potato salad, kale greens.-got mild version.i.e. bland and salty-4 thin and one fat piece, noticed bottles of lousiana Fish Fry on truck..fish inconsistent, 3.5 stars-potato salad passed it's prime. hard cubes at first bite, thawed, squishy and slightly nasty tasting-kale greens tasted bitter otherwise fresh.takeouts:-curious, never a line, also no reviews.-food's cheap for a reason. baked beans from a can? (B....)-very friendly, deferential service to all.-mains cooked to order.. sides no.-smaller than usual food truck....

Trash , 2 ribs not properly cooked or smoked, old cold mac n sneeze, greens were meh, I never hardly leave reviews but this was horrible , not to mention unsanitary, crack heads might think this truck is worst bbq ever , FOH -0 zero stars

The food tasted good except the garlic noodles which were bitter. But the cook definitely doesn't follow covid regulations (no mask, handling food with same gloves as handling cash, had a friend inside eating and talking to him). After seeing the other reviews I'm definitely worried about my safety.

Just had a delicious snapper burger from the truck on E. 18th and it couldn't have been tastier, only $10 and included choice of sides. The fish was perfectly fried and the BBQ sauce was tangy and not like the maple syrup stuff some places use. And the dude was polite and attentive to my instructions, thank you.

I very much enjoy the food here especially the tri-tip! In a pinch I needed some food for a party and asked if they would cook for me a whole tri-tip with sides communication was easy and the meat was super tender with a nice smoke ring Around The Edge! Everybody seemed to enjoy it very much

I , without doubt will NOT recommend ANY ONE purchase food from this food truck. I was next in line to perhaps buy some food, when the person in front of me ordering ask the cook and owner to wash his hands, the cook/owner refused to do so after scratching his face and touching currency/paper money, etc.This food truck owner poses a health risk to the public and is unprofessional and downright disgraceful. He outright refused to wash his hands., a violation of health laws.

Great Chef!!!! Been closes for a while !! Back to the business of great soul food!! The menu is affordable and understanding!!

I'd been eyeing this truck for a while since I would drive by it on my way home from work a lot. I finally grabbed some ribs, which were not great. The cook popped them in a microwave in the truck and poured on some cold bbq sauce. The cook was nice enough and we had a friendly conversation, but not masked (I think this was around May) and went on a "COVID isn't real" tangent.
