Nuha's Cafe's shelves were bare except for the packaged cookies on the bottom shelf. (2ish). would have grabbed anything if something was sighted.small space. little seating available. outside only?offerings: cookies, coffee, sammies, pastries, bakes, etc.brew: 12 oz. yemen coffee(2.95)-strong dark roast. yummy,haven't had good yemen coffee in awile.-self service.

Tiny little sandwich place with smoothies, etc. Some seating outside, but otherwise it's take out here.Had a good pastrami with cheese on a wheat roll. The bread was fabulous. Good service.

This review is coming from a loyal Peet's fan, but when I'm in Berkeley and want coffee, I head for Nuha's Cafe. Their Yemen coffee is so delicious. I drink it black myself and it's really just one of the best coffees that I've enjoyed. If you get there early you might be able to grab a cheese danish to go with it. Not sure if they are still serving their yogurt cups, but I was a fan of those as well. But ultimately it's the coffee that keeps me coming back and I like to support the friendly staff as well.

Amazing sandwiches.Best prices.Chill employees.Need I say much?I usually come here after classes to grab a full sandwich and sometimes when I'm in a hurry I just grab the ones they prepare in the morning. I love it here.

Morning breaker is delicious! The morning breaker breakfast sandwich has thick (almost like an inch of) egg, sliced tomatoes, avocado and cheese~~! Must try!!

**NOTE** Nuha's has been under NEW ownership since early 2008 - so please disregard any negative comments dated before then!I have fallen in love with this little eatery - Yelpers have got it right - they pack a MAJOR punch in a tiny space, making high-quality sandwiches, offering a yummy selection of pastries, fresh fruit and 'middle-eastern plate' delights ... and all for A TOTALLY REASONABLE PRICE!Where else in Berkeley can you eat a full lunch for under $6, including tax? I haven't found it yet!The employees are super-sweet, helpful, friendly, and familiar. They remember your 'usual' and always hard at work for the customer.Amazing drink, chip, tea, and sweets selection, alongside some of the best homemade hummus, egg salad and chicken salad since my mother's kitchen. They really know what they're doing here, and will ALWAYS make you what you're in the mood for, without complaint, to a T, just how you like it - SERIOUS SERVICE.I got my co-workers so hooked that we'd order form them everyday and drive from Emeryville just to chow down on their crunchy veggies sandwiches and hummus...I crave this place every day!

Nuha's Cafe is incredible. If my dawg Isla, a five star kiddo, goes to there everyday of her life, you know the food finna be hella raw. I love going there with her and her squad and calling an Original New York Raspberry Seltzer and a muffin my lunch. She gets an Avocado Pesto Sandwich and a Lenny and Larry's Double Chocolate Complete Cookie (which is gross, but there's something there for everyone I guess). The service is excellent and Isla often finds herself getting free items as their favorite customer. Not me though.Anyway, it's a perfect spot for lunchtime shenanigans and gossiping about Naima and Amalia when they separate from us "accidentally".Everybody who reads this should wish Isla a happy birthday, she's probably depressed that she's gained so many wrinkles by the age of 17.Five Stars.
