Stopped by this chicken shop right after a drink at clio's and i think we just randomly had the best korean fried chicken in town. We ordered the:Soy garlic - wet sauce. The texture was really good. It was light and crispy at the same time. The wet sauce did not affect the crunch! The wings were also huge. Magic sprinkle- dry. I am not sure what the flavors are exactly but its on the sweet ish side also really good. Second to soy garlic imo but would definitely order again. Crunch and size same as soy garlic. Service was also good! Did not catch the person's name but we ordered to-go and he offered to bring the food out to our car when ready after we told him we were gonna get our car. We parked two blocks up so we said no thanks. But appreciate the gesture!Cant wait to go back!

Did I just find the best Korean wings in East bay?Let's talk chicken quality --juicy, tender, no dryness with red veins from them bones. Flavor -- hot & spicy-- some hint of cinnamon, enough sweetness, not thick enough to bore the tastebuds but thin enough to taste the heat. Chili soy -- sweet and hot, nothing you can't handle Soju--Enough selections to give you Korean vibes and experience. Always choose Saero if you ask me :) Service--No complaintsDon't ask if it's better than Bonchon--Bonchon lacks quality period. Ask if it's better than Bb.q chicken--it's different in the breading, crispness, and flavor, but quality is not lacking! Their sauce and breading reminds me of Love Letter in Orange County but crispier and lighter. Quality of the chicken reminds me of Koko from (GG) Orange County 11/10 would come back and drink another 2 bottles of soju with my partner.

Noori is THE spot for deliciously prepared Korean fried chicken.Y'all, Koreans do fried chicken like nobody else. We are SO lucky to have our local spot in Lake Merritt area. Sure parking is basically impossible, but if you're local walk here and support Korean-owned and run biz. I was so excited to see them open and set up, as they just started in October of last year. I ordered for pick up on a weekday night and although I did have to wait a few mins extra, it was so worth it.High quality crunch with tender and flavorful sauces. I knew their original was gonna be fire as well as the soy garlic. Extra goodness if you have an air fryer at home and need to reheat these bad boys. Their 8pc is enough for two meals for one person, and I love that you have the option to do half/half so more ways to try all their flavors!I haven't seen much competition with Korean FC up here in Oakland. The South Bay is so lucky, they have Gen, Chimek, Bonchon, Vonz, bb.q--you get it. SO many options, so I'm really grateful Noori has made it to Oakland. The interior is hella cute too, K-pop music videos and music playing, and a warm but cool aesthetic. Service may be slow and sparse, but they're still young and figuring out organization. Send them a lil Korean heart. FIGHTING!

New place in my work neighborhood that looked intriguing. Who doesn't love KFC...Korean Fried Chicken, am I right? The dining room was welcoming in a festive and whimsical way, with a video projected on the wall, and indoor awnings in bright colors. The tables even have a tablet to place your orders, or you can walk up to the counter and plug it in. I was going to order the lunch special, but at 3:01, the system locked me out of that option. So I ordered the 8 piece chicken with sweet and mild sauce and pickled radish as a side. Off the top, the sides that go with the order are limited- pickled radish, coleslaw or rice. You'll have to pay extra for fries, or kimchi rice, which was a little disappointing.Regardless, when I opened my boxes, I was surprised to see healthy pieces of boneless fried chicken, with the perfect crunchiness I have come to love and expect in KFC. The sweet and mild coating was also good and was exactly what I was craving.I also ordered a side in section "B" of the menu: The Soy Garlic Dumplings. They were crispy fried and crunchy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. There were also enough to keep you satisfied with extra for a friend. It wasn't an inexpensive meal, but the flavors and textures werespot on.Next time, I think I'll try their spicy seafood soup. By the description, it sounds delicious!

As a long-time Korean fried chicken enjoyer, Noori Chicken truly took my love to the next level. The chicken here is so flavorful, tender, and crispy all at the same time. FOODMagic Sprinkle Chicken (5/5): I was blown away by this! The crispy skin, delicious seasoning, and juicy chicken were to die for.Soy Garlic Chicken (5/5): Loved how the glaze didn't make the chicken soggy at all. It was so yummy and cooked perfectly.I'd definitely come back and try more flavors here in the future. Don't sleep on this place if you're in the area!

Excellent KFC. Crunchy batter. Great flavor. Big meaty wings. Ordered a 16pc to go and I will definitely be back to try the lunch combo next time. This spot gives off cool Korea vibes. Their tasty chicken is made to order, so definitely call in ahead if you're in a rush.

Amazing!! So glad this place opened. What a vibe - K-pop playing on the wall, orange food market roof inside, screen ordering, great food. We've been 5 times so far. Large servings of succulent juicy crispy Korean fried chicken with great flavor combos. Our favourite fried chicken is the garlic soy & the hot spicy one. Great bimbimbap & onion rings too. Love the barley tea & that they have makgeolli too (cloudy rice wine drink).

We've had food from here twice: once as takeout during the soft opening and once at the restaurant a few days ago. We had:- Korean fried chicken, in soy garlic, supreme, and magic sprinkle flavor. The magic sprinkle is ridiculously delicious, a tiny bit sweet, pretty savory, and just really hit the spot. The crisp, moistness, and taste on all the chicken gets an A, and the magic sprinkle flavor gets an A+.- tteokbokki. This tastes like the tteokbokki of my childhood in the best way. It's not sweet and it's not cheesy (they do have a rosé version which is made with cream and cheese) like many places make it, but savory and spicy. I loved it, and wouldn't change a thing. The two fried dumpling were crisp and juicy. A+ for me, but if you are looking for something sweet-spicy, this may not hit the exact right spot for you. It definitely hit right for me and I'm definitely going to get this again and again.- eomukguk/fish cake soup. This was also an A. You could taste the layers of flavors from the vegetables, especially the turnip, and fish cake. It tasted like it was cooked long enough for the flavors to really meld, but didn't feel over cooked.- corn cheese. This was good: nothing to fault, nothing incredibly different, but it's exactly what you are looking for if you want corn cheese.- magic sprinkle fries. We made them disappear so quickly, that the owner (I think?) joked that he must have forgotten to bring them to us. They were so great and I could eat baskets of them by myself. A+!I can't wait to try more chicken flavors and other dishes! I'm looking forward to trying their kimchi fried rice.On the decor side, it was very cute! Very much styled like a Korean "pocha" (short for pojangmacha) which evokes the image of Korean street stands with small tables and stools, where you could make a quick stop or stay for a while to have "chimek" (chicken and beer) with your friends for a long time. There were K-pop music videos playing the whole time on two screens, with music playing at a volume where you could listen to the music but also have a conversation with a friend. There were screens at every table to order and pay the bill, which was great because my kids could take time to figure out what they wanted to order, but you could also just order from the staff if you need. This will be my family's new default fried chicken place! That chicken is really, really great! The portions were huge and we got waaaaaaay too much for my small family but I just wanted to try so much.

Was really excited to try, but was disappointed. The chicken was ok, not bad, but definitely not great. The chicken wasn't crispy at all - I did get sauced version, but that shouldn't mean that it's not crispy, plenty of places do that well. Seafood pancake was not good - the pancake was bland, and the only seafood that I could taste there was octopus, which was crazy chewy, and there was a lot of it. Could only finish about a quarter of it before giving up. So when considering how everything is priced, I don't think this is the chicken place for me.

I posted this on Google too!Tried the magic sprinkle and soy garlic chicken and wow, this is some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while! We got take out and the chicken was still crispy after 20 minutes. The chicken comes off very easily from the bone and they are very large pieces. The magic sprinkle is a dry coating with a strong crisp and umami flavor. The soy garlic is a classic and had the perfect amount of saltiness.I highly recommend this place to try! The owner is also very friendly.
