Good lord! We just had the best chicken biryani in California!Absolute must try. Outstanding service and delicious food. Easy to reserve. Fine dining without any of the frills.Yelp Elites: Have your eyes on this restaurant. This place can give the Copras and Roohs a run for their money!Red wine sangria: 4/5Well made. Arrived at our table with some delay. We thought they could have added fewer ice cubes but it was a good complement to our meal.Paneer Pakora: 3/5Tender paneer. Tasted decent. But the outer shell felt a little dry for the pakora.Kale chaat: 2/5This was just a massive bowl of sev. The kale was disproportionately sized for a chaat where that was meant to be the dominant ingredient. The chutneys also felt a little on the sour side than sweet side.Tandoori wings (5/5)This was tandoori chicken. I would rename their menu item to call it that. Cooked to perfection. So was the taste. And fantastic red colors!Chicken biryani (100% perfect)This was OUT OF THE WORLD. Perfectly cooked basmati rice with balanced flavors and good amount of tender flavorful chicken meat. Well sized portion for a table of 3. I also appreciated the cashew garnish. I would go on to add that after sampling biryanis across the length and breadth of the Bay Area, this is the best chicken biryani I've had outside of India.Amritsari Chole: 4/5No surprises here. Can't go wrong with chole. Delicious as expected. I would have loved to see the onions be finely chopped. No other qualms.Gulab Jamun with ice cream: 5/5Wow. The delicate and delicious warm Gulab jamun balls blew me away. They were also kind to offer an extra for the table. This was truly the icing on the cake. Haven't had gulab jamuns so good in a long time. No lumpy dough on the inside, just a warm whoof of air packed in a bouncy gulab jamun! Order this without second thoughts!I will return just to devour their delicious biryani!

Perfect find for a last minute Valentine's Day date from the moment we stepped in to the restaurant. They attended us even though they were getting ready to close. So accommodating and lovely. The restaurant was decorated for Valentines Day. They really made an effort to make the night special. The food was so delicious. Served with a smile perfectly cooked Thanks again for the delicious meal and the amazing valentine atmosphere

I'm from India, and have high standards for Indian food. The food at this restaurant is really good. And the ambience is excellent too. But I'm still not that fond of it.One, the menu is just too limited. They need a lot more variety. Two, the prices are really high compared to other Indian restaurants; I guess you pay for the ambience. Three, it's absurd that -- unlike every other Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at -- vegetable dishes and daal are priced the same as the meat dishes. Four, they charge an absurdly large amount for the unconscionably small quantities they give of rice and raita. The name includes the word fusion, but there's nothing on the menu to justify that. The only thing I've ever had there that I could call a fusion dish was a dessert that was really good but doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore.Once we made the mistake of ordering Paneer Tikka Masala. Tikka Masala is a standard dish. What they served us was nothing like what Tikka Masala is supposed to be. It was a pale orange color, and the flavor did not resemble Tikka Masala in any way, shape, or form. For my money, there are much better Indian restaurants close by. For example, try Breads of India on Sacramento St in Berkeley. A much better menu (much more variety, and many unique dishes), almost half the price after you factor in everything (lunch for 2 with chai, a glass of wine, and dessert was $51 after tax), an outstanding dessert that you won't find anywhere else (Phirni, a traditional rice pudding made with ground rice), and $5 house wine!

Went to this restaurant because a friend had heard of it and it does not disappoint! The food was all super delicious and tasted like authentic Indian food. The staff was very friendly and gave us great recommendations as well. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes!

Noor Indian Fusion Kitchen is aesthetically pleasing. It is a clean space with refined lines and space planning. I was a bit confused, not unusual BTW, lol. I thought the location on Adeline Street was a restaurant and it is only a place where you can pick up. This location on University Ave is the only location where you can dine in- FYI. My friend and I ordered some items to share. We ordered the butter chicken, vegetable biryani rice, naan , and an order of the onion fritters. To my surprise everything was tasty. I say to my surprise because sometimes when restaurants are on the modern side, they can be a bit too modern with the basic authentic cuisines that we come to know and love. Well the biryani rice was a bit colorful and spicy but flavorful. A place that you will have to add to your list of restaurants for 2025. Bon Appetite!

Mediocre but by no means great. I ordered the tofu Tikka masala. Essentially it's a mushy mess. With tofu being essentially flavorless, it seems like you're eating a bland paneer ticker masala. Can the gravy, as they call it, is entirely too thick. My friend liked his lamb dish.

Noor Indian Fusion is a modern restaurant offering beautifully-plated South Asian dishes in an elegant dining room. We started with the Darjeeling Chicken Momos, five small steamed dumplings with a spiced chicken filling, served with a tomato chutney. For our mains, the Muglai Chicken Changezi was made of smoked chunks of dark meat chicken in a lightly-spiced tomato and cashew gravy; but my favorite was the Saag Paneer, a dish of cottage cheese cubes in a pureed spinach sauce. The spinach puree was light, airy, creamy, and flavorful, and both curries went nicely with a side of laccha paratha, a layered whole wheat flatbread. Finally, we had the Lamb Biryani, a super flavorful, spicy mixture of basmati rice, spices, and tender lamb chunks, topped with fried onions, cashews, and chopped cilantro, and served with a side of raita. While tasty, the biryani was overpoweringly salty and spicy. While the food presentation here was beautiful, the flavors could have been more on point, the service was excruciatingly slow, and the prices were high for what we got.

Indian cuisine with a twist of modern fine place. Variety of colorful foods. Sorry to say that foods were so hot and spicy for us that couldn't finish our meals. Menu doesn't identify the spicy foods and/or level of hotness. Foods are pricy too.Vegetarian/vegan options available.Flat entry with wide area for accessibility.Free or paid street parkings. It's a decent clean restaurant with nice waitresses/waiters. Though our foods came pretty late and after couple follow ups.Unfortunately I may end up there again just because my niece likes the place and will take her there next time she's in town

First time at Noor Indian Kitchen. We were not disappointed! The food, ambiance and service are 5 star. Clean bathrooms, and easy street parking. If you are vegan you must try the Tofu Tikka Masala. Yum! The gravy is super creamy. Also get the Lamb Rogan Josh. My wife loved it. The Garlic Naan was crunchy and great for dipping in the Tamarind Chutney. Finally, they were very accommodating to our many food allergies. It is great when you can order from a menu with confidence. We will be back!
