You can put the stopper in the back when you want to drink
If you see this intersection you're in the right spot
Can you spot the bobas? Nope! Paid extra .75 cents and can't even taste the tea flavor bc it was watered down!

My cousin and I enjoy trying different boba shops whenever we hang out. Nomi Tea is relatively close to my house, yet I never felt drawn to go. We decided to try it and though it's not my favorite, it's nice to know there's a spot in Albany for a decent boba fix!The tea shop is well sized with several tables to sip and talk at. The inside is spacious and modern with minimal decorations. I found the service to be fine but not anything special. You order at the counter, they prepare your drink, and you enjoy!Being a tea shop they offer a plethora of milk tea, fruit tea, slushies, and so forth. Ice and sugar levels can be adjusted and dairy alternatives are available. I had the Sakura Oolong Milk Tea with less sugar and ice. Even though I chose a non-dairy creamer I felt that it was pretty watered down. There wasn't much Sakura or oolong flavor to it which was quite disappointing. My cousin has the Peach Oolong Milk Tea and I enjoyed hers more.If you're walking around Albany and want to support local, Nomi Tea is a quaint spot to grab boba. Find them off Solano Ave. with street and neighborhood parking. I prefer going to Berkeley for my boba fix but I am glad to try a different spot.

Recently visited this boba establishment with a craving for fruit tea. The service was prompt, with staff members being friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the place was comfortable, providing a cozy setting to enjoy our drinks.Grape fruit tea - it was decent, hitting the mark but not particularly outstanding. One aspect that left room for improvement was the boba; unfortunately, it lacked the chewiness I usually savor in these delightful tapioca pearls. While this visit was focused on fruit tea, I couldn't help but notice the positive buzz around their milk tea from various reviews. It leaves me intrigued and eager to give it a try next time, perhaps unlocking a better experience. In summary, a satisfactory visit with commendable service and a pleasant atmosphere. The fruit tea was okay, but my curiosity is piqued about their renowned milk tea, making a return visit inevitable for further exploration.

I'm not sure why I'm surprised that this is a pretty solid boba spot, but it is! My husband ordered a hot oolong milk tea, 0% sweet, and it was just to his liking (he ended up wanting a little sweetness in the end, but was appreciative of the tea in general). I got an oolong milk tea (iced) with boba, 25% sweet, and it was delicious! Highly recommend, they're really great about tinkering with sweetness levels. Service was quick and very friendly. I like that it was very clean inside, and they were polite with us and understanding of my crying baby :)

Relatively new on Solano Ave. it's got good variety of drinks and topping choices. Also notice that there is preorder option, people come in just to pick up. I usually get a fruit tea and a jelly option.

I found this place while walking down Solano Avenue and stopped by to try. I saw a unique "Sakura oolong milk tea" and was intrigued so I ordered it. It is comparable to a rose milk tea but more subtle taste and their boba was soft and chewy. The interior could use a little sprucing up, the store looked fairly new. I'd definitely recommend a good spot for a photo op or selfies!

I love this place because this is THE ONLY boba place that uses real fresh Taro, which I love and NOT the fake purple mix so there's actually bonded chunks of taro in it. They also really honor their level of sweetness, so I don't feel so guilty having boba with the fresh taro and almond milk with 25% sweetness. Thanks Nomi!!

Spacious interior if you ever want to stop by for boba with friends or family. I ordered online -- Sakura oolong and the super fruit tea. Fruits added in the fruit tea was fresh. I personally like stronger tea flavors and both miss that mark for me. Boba was slightly on the softer side.

I'm not sure what's going on at this shop. Several times, I've been and had stellar drinks. Yesterday, i threw away my fresh match latte less than half drinken. My niece and nephew also did not finish their bubble tea and slushi and said they didn't taste good. Please bring back some consistency to this shop. I didn't recognize the girls working. Maybe they are new and need additional training.

Nomi is hands down my favorite boba place in the bay. I know those are big words but I seriously have tried everywhere - and this place CONSISTENTLY is great. I don't like super sweet boba drinks and this place is finally a spot that doesn't put what seems like a gallon of sugar (& artificial at that!) in everything. You can taste the tea, you can taste the flavor - it's perfect. My absolute favorites are the strawberry green tea, mango green tea, super fruit tea, and the mint sparkling one :)

My kids ordered mango slushie with boba and taro milk tea with boba and non dairy creamer which is standard that it's made suggested by the order taker. My oldest who ordered the taro milk tea said momma, I can't even drink it with straw because it's too thick! I opened the lid to see what it was and it was the texture was like cottage cheese and yes it was too thick to drink. Little brother wanted to see what the issue was and took a zip and he ended up vomiting what he swallowed! Whoever's in charge, Please pay attention to what you are making and step up your quality control , you don't want to give people food poisoning, i hope! $8 just thrown in the street trash bin
