Great Banh mi, the quality of bread is fantastic. A consistent go to and service is very good. Ambiance is chill college vibes as well. I've been here many time and have never been even slightly disappointed.

I was taken aback when 2 orders of banh mi came out to be $30... Honestly was disappointed by the banh mi. The sandwiches were deceivingly smaller than they appeared in pictures...While the ingredients were fresh and the French bread was soft yet toasted just right, it wasn't really stuffed with meats or the stuff you actually cared about enough.Adding on an egg costs you an extra $2.25... like what?! And because they cut your sandwich in half, the egg is only placed on one half of your sandwich, loool. To be fair, at least it looks pleasant and isn't messy, but that's pretty lame that they jack up the price of an egg that much and it doesn't even fit the whole sandwich. :(Additionally, pate is an extra $2, which I could barely taste on mine so that was already a major bummer.Service was minimal - I did takeout. I don't really have a desire to go back after this unfortunately.

1 star for not letting my mother use the restroom. We planned to order food anyways and she was rude af! My mom asked to use the restroom while my bf ordered the sandwiches but she made him buy it first before she can use it. WTF! HORRIBLE!! Not only that but the sandwiches were disappointing. VERY stingy with the meat and bread tasted nothing like a banh mi. NOT AUTHETIC at all! I would not go here again for the food or service and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Sucks to write a bad review, but I'd skip this place if you are looking for a good Banh mi. The lady working was nice, but the sandwich was seriously lacking. I spent $25 for two combo sandwiches with extra pate ($2 extra), and the pate was definitely not worth $2. To my surprise there was only one slice of meat, where usually the combo contains multiple types of meat. I understand that times are tough, but they may benefit from investing in upgrading their food to match customer expectations.

Food: The banh mi was good, but the filling was light, especially for the price. It was mostly bread with a few thin slices of meat. Appropriate to what you'd actually find in Vietnam, but for an American restaurant and for American prices, it's a little small. I would be willing to pay a couple of bucks more for just a little bit more meat and veggies. I believe the price is high since they have to account for the rent located on Telegraph, a busy street.Drinks: We ordered the basil seed drink and lychee tea. They were great. The basil seed drink was sweet with a hint of that signature herbal aroma. The lychee tea was refreshing, and it comes with one lychee; not too sweet from the lychee, not too bitter from the tea. Very deliciousService: The lady behind the counter was very warm and welcoming, there was a few regulars who came in and created a familiar type of atmosphere. The restaurant itself, I think, may have been undergoing a slight/minor renovation as there were some boxes of stuff out, but not in the way of the seating. They have a couple of tables that could accommodate a couple of groups of a few people but not a lot for a big party.

Been craving banh mi for some time. Decided to stop by here before our hike. First off, love the name. I always said if I had a bakery, I'd name it Nina's Nom Nom's. Too bad I'm not a morning person. Anyways, I digress. This place serves just banh mi: No pho, no spring rolls, no Thai iced tea, and no restroom. Got The District 3. Forgot to ask about the inspiration for the name but it comes with liver pate and pork loaf (cha). Pretty good sandwich. Not sure if it's because I was pretty hungry by the time we finished hiking, but the banh mi was very satisfying. If I'm ever in the area again for hiking and craving a banh mi sandwich, I know where to go.

Being college students With limited time in our busy schedules, getting food for in our system is often neglected or under prioritized. But having a cheap solid sandwhich place like nom nom bahn mi close by really changes that. Being able to order via snackpass or in person, the wait was virtually nothing. The sandwhich quality was decent. although I feel like it is really hard to mess up a bahn mi sandwhich, I do feel like they could have put in a bit more meat. While the price was a far cry from what I am used to in the san gabriel valley, I am glad it is still below neighboring shops to give students a quick and affordable option. Also the nom nom bahn mi logo is kinda cool

I don't often leave reviews, but this place is so unbelievably good. I got the #7 Tofu Bahn Mi and it was the best one I've had, ever. The bread is so fresh and soft (I prefer that over a hard roll) and the flavors were intense, perfectly paired and amazing. I don't usually like cilantro and I ate the sandwich as is- with the cilantro. I am traveling for work, but honestly all I can think about is when I can come back and have another one. If I recall the menu correctly, this sandwich is vegan. I was full off of one (they also ask if you want those toppings, so you don't have to have them), but I can see why a previous yelper ordered 2 for themselves- it is that good! Also, I really appreciated the photos on the wall and the nice clean space with chairs and places to eat. I will definitely come back for a quiet lunch. The folx who work there were super nice and welcoming.

We ordered two sandwiches, the grilled pork and the pate loaf. Dry meat, not flavorful at all. Minimal toppings, stale bread. Price point was too high for what we experienced. Would not recommend. We visited in the early evening before a concert. Thought based on the reviews it would be busy and delicious. There were no other customers the entire time we sat there eating, and after our meal I understand why. Don't understand the high ratings though.
