This is a fun place for families, young adults and young at hearts. Food was great. Service was excellent.Fun part is when a life size Pikachu comes out and entertains the crowd. Had fun celebrating my nephews birthday.

My girlfriend and I wanted to visit this restaurant due to reviews and photos we had seen online and it did not disappoint. We arrived early on a rainy Thursday and were pleasantly greeted by the staff and seated quickly. We got two of their ramen bowls, fries, their Sailor Moon themed sparkling water and some hibiscus tea. The service was so quick, our food was out before we knew it and our water was always topped off. The decor was perfect for what my girlfriend's aesthetic and the anime themed menu with Doraemon playing directly in front of me. Perfect for a rainy day

This spot has been popping up on my social media for awhile now but only decided to go spontaneously with my bf today 1 hour before closing and honestly no regrets! They put a lot of detail and care to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Right when you walk in, the walls are decorated with a floral, jungle leaves and references to anime culture. I'm not sure if they cycle out certain themes every now and then, but everything was themed Pokemon this time around--from their menu to the employee outfits (Ash from Pokemon). They even had really fun plates and their chopstick covers were branded with a kantana sword. The menu is a lot of fun with colorful branding and dishes inspired by their current Theme (Pokemon), but they also had other anime /Japan pop culture references like the Sailor Moon shot flight and the Power ranger cocktail. I was really excited to try out their food, and couldn't wait to dive in. To my surprise, a Pikachu mascot came out to greet us and the other guests, and it was so cute. It really felt like I was in Japan again, at a themed cafe. Experience and branding is 10/10.I really thought this was one of those places where they focus so much on the decor that the food is lackluster, but this was exactly the opposite! The food tasted great! I got the black garlic ramen, and the broth was so flavorful! While the price tag is a bit on the pricer side, I totally get it considering how much they put into the entire experience and the flavor was there too! The customer experience was great too, they were approachable and friendly. It was too early for cocktails so I asked for a cocktail because I really wanted the themed pokemon drinks. Unfortunately I couldn't get a mocktail, and opted for an in-house spritzer. Our server was kind enough to add the Pokemon themed cards to our drinks! I'm sure if you ask, they will make your experience amazing (: I highly recommend anyone who loves Japanese pop culture/anime to visit this spot, whether it's just for some fun cocktails or a meal, you'll find something tasty!

Came here on a whim when they were selling the Spongebob Krabby Patty meal. It EXCEEDED my expectations. Not only was the burger loaded with a hefty patty, but you also had the option to add chashu slices which I happily did, and boy were they tender and juicy. The fries were well seasoned too, accompanied by a creamy mayo chipotle sauce. In addition to the meal, I also got a Hibiscus Lychee Highball which was delicious. The awesome thing about the drinks here is that they are themed drinks, so they have drinks for Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Power Rangers, etc. The drink I got was specifically for Pokemon and it came with a trading card! How awesome is that?Since we were on a time crunch, we couldn't stay for as long as we would have liked, so we definitely want to come back to try their other stuff, including their specialty ramen! The ambience is super nice as it is located in Jack London Square, and the inside is nicely decorated with fandom stuff. Definitely my type of vibe.

Went here for a quick bite before my dr appointment and this is only the second time I've been here and I've loved it both times. We ordered the bento box that includes ramen of your choice. They put all the condiments in the bento and you can basically build your own ramen. I loved the Pokemon theme promotion they did. We got trading cards with our drinks and it added a nice fun touch with the vibrant colors. The server checked in on us throughout our meal and was very sweet. I would like to mention in order to get any extra sauce it's additional $2 but worth getting the sauce for the fries. If you are craving soup or love a place that encourages themes- come here! I know they've done other promotions and I look forward to seeing more of them.

Got a reservation for dinner with my partner and friend, the atmosphere is lovely, with little rituals when you arrive. Everyone is dressed up like in Sailor Moon. And sailor moon holiday movie was being shown on a huge projection. Faux flowers cover the restaurant.Fun cocktails and soft drinks, delicious Japanese beers, yummy ramen (I had the tofu ramen and the tofu was delicious). Service was quick and we got our appetizer of Brussel sprouts and ramen really quickly, and had room for dessert! If you love Pokémon, Sailor Moon, ramen, this is a place for you!

Came here for a girls lunch since we saw this on IG with all the cute anime things! We were disappointed when we walked in and didn't see what we saw on social media. The waitresses were dressed up in anime attire, but that was it. The sailor moon drinks were overpriced and the food was just as expensive while being just okay. It's definitely one of those social media hyped up places. A bowl of ramen was at least $25/bowl. You can get quality ramen for cheaper elsewhere, IMO. The corn rib appetizer was just okay. Nothing really was memorable to me. The decor is entertaining, you'll always have something to look at. They also have a cute photo op background with a neon light. Maybe it's more crackin' at dinner time with Pikachu running around. It was pretty calm when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Not a place I'd pick for my ramen fix.

This was my second visit to this fantastic ramen spot, and I'm just as impressed as the first time! One of my favorite features is the ability to make a reservation online, which makes the process seamless. As soon as we arrived, we were able to start right away, which I really appreciate. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to explaining the menu. My boyfriend has dietary restrictions and isn't allowed to eat pork due to his religion, so I was grateful that our server took the time to provide recommendations that suited his needs. As usual, the place looks really nice, and I love the decor. It has a quiet atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. The TV screens playing anime add a fun touch to the experience--last time I was there, they were playing *Doraemon*, which is one of my favorites from childhood!I came back specifically to try the steak ramen, and it did not disappoint! The flavors were incredible, and it was just what I was craving. I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in the Oakland area. If you're a ramen lover, this place is a must-visit!

Beautiful place for ramen, but it's definitely on the pricy side.My friends and I came to Noka for dinner before going to see a movie nearby. We got there on Tuesday around 5:15 pm and were the first group seated. The first thing you notice when you step in is that it's beautifully decorated with lots of greenery and flowers everywhere. Looks more like a instagrammable brunch spot than a ramen place lolBecause we were there during happy hour (5-6 pm), we ordered a couple of items off the hh menu to share, including the karaage and brussel sprouts, for $10 each. For happy hour, only some appies are included as far as food goes, but they have some drink specials as well.I liked the brussel sprouts, which came in a generous portion, but I found the karaage a bit bland. For my main, I had the classic tonkotsu for $18. I loved everything about my bowl of ramen. The broth was super tasty, the chashu was tender and flavorful, and the soft boiled egg was perfectly cooked. I prefer thick noodles and found the noodles here quite thin, but that's a matter of personal preference.Would love to come back, especially for a girls night out!

I've had this spot on my mind for a while and just haven't gotten around to it, at least until now haha so here I am.I ordered the Sailor Moon Flights and the Ikari steak ramen. The flights were pretty cool. I liked the presentation of it. It was really colorful and lit up. It also had the cool Sailor Moon action figures with it. Sadly though you can't keep them haha. The flights itself were decent, my favorites were the ones at the end. The ramen was pretty good. They told me that the ramen was spicy, but honestly it just has a little kick to it that adds so much flavor. I also liked the flame haha. The service my party had here was pretty good. Our server N, was very attentive and kind. He was very enthusiastic and knew a lot about their menu. He deserves a raise. They have different themes depending on what day you come here. Power ranger theme on Friday, Sailor Moon on Saturday, and Pokémon theme on Sunday. I came on Saturday and all the workers were dressed nic to the theme. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated to with a lot of attractive lights. All in all, I definitely recommend checking this ramen spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)
