Such a pleasant experience! We were treated so nicely and got plenty help deciding from the many options. The banana split was amazing now it's becoming a weekly event for us!

The behavior of the owner of this establishment (or at least someone claiming to be the owner) was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional, and it's the reason I'm writing this review. Such a shame - I've been to this location many times with my family, I will never do that again.Earlier today, while dining at a neighboring restaurant in Niles Canyon (same block), I witnessed who claims to be the owner acting in a way that lacked integrity and basic kindness. This lady was accompanied by a young boy with special needs and had just finished her meal when she asked the server if their bathroom was working. Unfortunately, the bathroom was temporarily unavailable ( I believe someone mentioned it was due to being locked from the inside--a minor issue likely to be resolved soon.)The server politely apologized and suggested the restroom at the creamery on the corner, not realizing that this woman owned it.Instead of appreciating the helpful suggestion, she scolded the server, saying, "You should not refer anyone to my creamery. This is my business, and don't ever do that again." The server was visibly embarrassed, immediately apologized, and promised not to do it again. Here's why this interaction left such a bad impression:1. Good neighbors support each other. It's baffling that a dessert shop owner would discourage a neighboring restaurant employee from referring customers to her business... especially after a meal! Communities thrive when businesses work together, and this kind of hostility is not only unnecessary but counterproductive.2. The server was trying to help. The server had no way of knowing if the restroom was needed for the woman or the child with her, but she tried to do the right thing by offering a solution. Doing the right thing - , I refrained from complaining about this lady's child's loud outbursts during my lunch because kindness and understanding should be practiced and goes a long way. She clearly missed this life lesson.3. Her actions felt calculated and distasteful. If she really needed a restroom, why not use the one at her own business? Instead, she set up the server for failure with a confrontation that felt entirely unnecessary. This behavior reflects poorly on her as a business owner and as a neighbor. My hope is that this review encourages her to reflect on her actions and make amends. The right thing to do would be to apologize to the server who was only trying to help.Kindness and collaboration should be at the heart of any community, and this experience left me questioning her commitment to either.

Nice little ice cream shop in downtown Niles. There is a good selection of ice cream options and everything is reasonably priced. The ice cream itself was quite tasty. It was pretty busy though, but the line moves fast.

Came here on a warm night. Totally forgot they serve Loards ice cream, which for those who know, it's some of the best manufactured ice cream around. Service was friendly and fast. Wife got hot fudge Sundae and I got Black and tan. Good portions ....$19 for both which isn't bad these days. We will be back soon

Very good old school ice-cream parlour serving the classics. We got the brownie sundae with black cherry & heath krunch bar flavours and also a single scoop of chocolate chip on a waffle cone! Amazing icecream for sure & the brownie sundae was an indulgent & perfect dessert for the night. They also have other desserts like cupcakes and tarts but we didn't get any this time. They also let you do 2 flavour samples/person before you settle in on what you want.

I did not expect Niles Ice Cream to be so good. I was in the area on a hot day so what better way to cool off than to get ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors and always give you a humongous scoop. - Caramel Cashew - I don't even like caramel that much but I was a big fan of this ice cream. There was huge chunks of cashews in every bite and the caramel wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet.- Peanut Butter Fudge - I love how each flavor is so distinct and this peanut butter one is no different. I love how pervasive the peanut butter was and you can definitely taste the fudge (chunky) parts.Absolutely loved my experience here and am already thinking about what flavor to get next time. By the way, the line may seem long from the outside but it moves very quickly. My only complaint was that I wanted to sit inside the store but there was way too many flies.

It's been warm and I was between two appointments so I stopped by here on Monday afternoon for a quick bite. The staff is friendly and answered our questions about the offerings and I ordered a brownie sundae . I asked for less whipped cream cuz that's how I like it. I was excited because it had been a while since I enjoyed a sundae but I was quite disappointed by this one. The brownie was dry and almost stale. It was not moist or fresh tasting. The chocolate sauce was on the sweeter side . Definitely a retro American vibe to the place and the ice cream options. I would have preferred the sauce to be more chocolatey and less sugary. That's my preference. The ice cream was good and creamy. I wish they didn't spoil it for me with that brownie.

Niles Ice Cream was a small, seemingly family-run dessert spot that serves Loard's Ice Cream as well as other treats like pies and cupcakes. After sampling a few of their flavors, I found that all of them were pretty thick, creamy, and on the sweeter side. I went with the Blackberry Raspberry Marble in a waffle cone (extra cost). I personally liked how thick and creamy the flavors were (more to "chew" in a sense and filling), but out of the four I sampled, none provided that fruity kick I was looking for (then again, that's preference, and that seems to be the style of ice cream from Loard's). The "Fruit Crisp" pie had a nice, crunchy topping, but the inside felt like a syrupy (kinda thin), but thankfully tangy cherry filling. The place itself was pretty bare but clean.Service was great!

Service was terrible. We came in with a big group and were rudely addressed for a part of our group to step out without explanation. I understand if there are too many people in the restaurant but they were rude about it. The ladies behind the counter rolled their eyes at each other when asked a question and gave responses we couldn't even hear. Icecream was good but so is baskin robins. So unless they fix their attitudes I won't be back.

very rude customer service. Walked in and was told to wait outside rudely with no reasoning as to why, while others walked in. The ice cream was good
