5 Stars Amazing food and great atmosphere! The momo is so yummy, and the chow mein, bara, and chatamari are all delicious. Authentic Newari flavors in every bite. I tried everything, and it was all so good! Highly recommend!

Wanted to try this new spot in El Cerrtio & went there on a week day. This food was very medicore. The momo filling had some nice taste but the jhol was something else. Didn't like the taste of it. I felt the price was little on the higher side & portion sizes were small even though its a food truck. The momo took a while to come out. However the paakku was served cold and tatsed just Ok. The dinning area was nice with the tent & heaters on. Please level up the food taste as there are much better places around the area . Best wishes for the business.

They have just started and are off to a great start. People are loving their food and we were no different. Good for both take outs and dine in experience. They have set up some tables at the open lot. We went for our take out orders and they were quick to give out the food. Staff were very polite and helpful. They were happy to offer us options as we needed vegetarian food. Price is moderate. Portion is decent. Flavor and taste were great. Parking is easy to find. Lot of street parking spaces. You can park nearby their truck too. Must give them a try. They won't disappoint you. Going back again without a doubt.

Ate there on opening day; had chicken mono, veggie mono, and a mango lassi. The food was great, came out fast and was delicious. They gave us a free cup of chai too. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Have been back twice since opening already! Fast, friendly service, nice outdoor seating areas to eat, and food is super flavorful and delicious! Recommend especially their Newari special items (you can't find at usual Nepali restaurants) on the menu, like Chatamari, Bara, and Alutama.

We had a great time there with friends. There was no tent but the weather was nice and the heat lamps did the job. The staff seemed friendly, courteous and plenty of smiles at the counter. 5/5 so far.Food is where we had to try really really hard to appreciate the business all the way. We found more of a generic Nepali/Indian restaurant flavor that is available at any location we can find around the Bay Area. There was no flavors that would speak itself as a newari dish. Being newars ourselves from different parts of Nepal, our group had high hopes to finally find a place to claim as our new joint but seems the search is still on. 2/5 is being generous. The quality is there for a food truck but flavors not quite. Momo was good but jhol brought it down. We will stopby again as the business is new so we wish you the best of luck and hope to see you improve.

Plenty of parking. Nice owners. First time trying Nepalese food. Very delish will be back. !

Finally a restaurant that gets it right. The food is impressively authentic, their choyla has the perfect kick, the yomari is spot-on. It's incredible how they've maintained true Newari flavors despite the challenge of sourcing traditional ingredients here in the US. Only downside: Sadly, the city said "NO" to their traditional Newari Aila permit, guess El Cerrito city office wasn't ready for that level of authenticity. Love their staff and "Bhinemà" to the owners. Wishing them continued success.

I ordered momo and since then I have been throwing up and diarrhea all night long . I even vomit in my car also . I think they either used old meat or they sell contaminated foods . This food truck should be investigated by health officials. I had to get IV next day . To save some money no one should be fed cheap ingredients or old meat . I'm still sick .

The food was delicious and very authentic Nepali taste. I will be coming back soon to try other items on the menu
