I've been going to this restaurant with my family since I was young. I haven't been here for a long time though. The parking lot is limited and small. There was about a 15-20 min wait on a Friday night. Service here is always lacking - workers are slow and not efficient. The food however is great. Very well cooked and flavorful. I was craving good Thai food today, so I decided to visit New Krung Thai. I've always enjoyed Thai cuisine, but this restaurant is by far my favorite. Compared to other Thai places, New Krung Thai offers deeper, richer, and more intense flavors. I'm usually not a fan of overly intense flavors, but here, they strike the perfect balance it's flavorful in the best way. No wonder so many people love this spot!Today, Pauline served us, and she was friendly. In general, the staff here is always welcoming. Occasionally, when it gets really busy, they may seem a bit overwhelmed, but they still do their best and remain professional.We ordered the chicken basil, squid in a flavorful sauce, Rad Na (gravy noodles) & Thai tea. Everything was absolutely delicious I loved it all! Will I be coming back? Oh yes!

I went here last weekend for dinner with my family. We didn't have to wait too long, maybe 20-25 minutes. Not too bad for a Saturday. As usual, this restaurant is packed (couples, families, and possibly dates). We ordered or usuals, but my sister wanted to try one of the off the menu items ( Ribeye Crying Tiger) It was melt in your mouth delicious! Definitely try that when you go there for dinner.

We were deciding between a few Thai restaurants in the South Bay for dinner on a Saturday night and I'm so glad that we chose this one! We walked in without a reservation and were seated within a reasonable time. We tried: - Crispy noodles - I was so excited to try crispy noodles outside of the Panfried Noodles that I usually order at Chinese restaurants (if you know, you know). I wasn't the biggest fan of the corn personally but it complemented the dish. -Pad Thai - We asked for mild spice but even then, Thai spice is no joke -Mango sticky rice - The heart shape presentation was SO cute and the perfect ending to a dinner date. This is a dessert that you need to save room for. We were so full by the end of the meal that we struggled to finish the dessert.The service was great and staff was friendly. Overall, great experience and delicious food!

Came here for lunch on a weekend and it was pretty busy! There were a lot of tables of families. They have a variety of dishes and many options to choose from. We opted for the fried pork belly that seem to be one of their seasonal menus. We also picked a noodle dish. We picked rad na which is a flat rice noodle dish with gravy. There was a lot of vegetables that were included in the dish, which was nice. We also ordered the eggplant chili garlic with tofu. Overall, everything was pretty good.There is a small parking lot that seems to fill up during busier hours. A pretty good find close to the Westfield mall!

New Krung Thai 9/10This place is a general go-to for my family for a very good reason!!The food is delicious and they are super consistent with their quality. The service is always great and they are generally almost always accommodating. The chicken pad Thai is almost always a must here! I tried the garlic friend shrimp for the first time and it was great. The crunchy garlics are absolutely incredible. The New Krung Thai is hands down the best thai restaurant I have ever been to. I have tried so many thai places and I always end up comparing it to this place and of course it's not as good as here. This restaurant is very fast paced and will always take your order right away and the food always comes out fast as well. I have tried several dishes from this place and everything has always been consistent and amazing. My favorites would have to be the pad thai, papaya salad, yellow curry, and tom kha soup. The pad thai is not too saucy but filled with flavor. I love how spicy the pad thai can be and it's honestly the best. It tastes very authentic and is prepared so well. The tom kha soup is rich in the coconut flavor and is paired with mushrooms and chicken which is so delicious. Lastly, you can't leave without trying their mango sticky rice. The mango is always so fresh and sweet which pairs well with the sticky rice. Everything is priced really well for how good it is. I will never go to another thai place as much as I do here. The service is always good and the place is usually packed every night. Will always be returning to this location. The originally krung thai is definitely not as good as this one.
