I tried their frozen pork siu may and, while the size was more on the smaller side, it was juicy after I steamed it myself at home. The flavor was good too - I felt like it could use a little bit more salt but since I like to have my dimsum with soy sauce to dip on the side it was perfect. Overall it was very satisfying, and I would definitely get it again if I'm in the area and even try their other frozen dumplings.

It has the best thick sesame bread (芝麻大饼) in Bay Area. It's spongy and flavorful. Food is very fresh and tasty, very reasonable price. Service is usually good when not too busy. It's an older restraunt. we did not expect it to be fancy :) good place to meet friends for meals.

In a nutshell: a truly authentic Chinese takeout with the taste of home______Tucked away in the Mission Plaza, New China Cuisine Express isn't the most obvious go-to casual joint in the area, but it has, I'm glad to report, garnered an eager cult following among Chinese patrons and families. Particularly around lunch time, you'll see a considerable crowd of parents walking in and out, or waiting in line to make their purchase. There's no question why. The food itself is solid, real Chinese fare, and, with a menu in daily rotation and a wide array of dishes to choose from, you're sure to find something that suits your taste. Each time I visit, I always like to grab a box of their roasted peanuts, which makes for a great, convenient snack to have on the go. When my own parents aren't bothered to cook lunch, more often than not we head over to New China for two of their lunch bento boxes, which are priced each at $16 for rice accompanied by three sides (if my memory serves me right). The servers behind the counters always scoop a generous portion of food to pack into the well-steamed rice, so rest assured you'll get your money's worth. All in all, New China is a quaint, family-friendly takeout place that satisfies any cravings for fresh, homemade Chinese cuisine.

I was delighted. Small business so the owner is very friendly. Nice diversity of dishes as well as decent portion sizes & affordability. They also have a take-&-make section with several coolers and freezers full of dumplings on dumplings of all shapes and variety. Oh, the food was good too!

I GOT SICK FROM THIS FOOD!I'm frequently in this area, so when I saw the frozen dumplings I was ecstatic - cheap, authentic, and easy work lunches! My stomach disagreed. I threw up the 5 or so that I ate within an hour of eating them. Makes me skeptical of their food safety practices, especially with raw meat. Don't eat here if you value your health!!!

I stumbled on this place while waiting for my order at the Chinese restaurant next door. This is a takeout place for prepared homestyle Chinese food that keeps well in the fridge. You basically stock up and then pop in the microwave or steamer any time you don't want to go out or make a full meal. The buns are good for work and the frozen dumplings and wontons are great for a night time snack. They also sell fresh soy milk and soy pudding sourced from Newark. The place reminds me a lot of Jenny's kitchen in San Jose. Ever since moving to the tri valley area I have not been able to find quite a similar format takeaway Chinese place, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I sincerely hope it gets the same cult following and remains here to stay.

Excellent "home style" Chinese food! It's mostly take out and the hot tray options reminds me of the weeke night dinners my grandmother would make growing up. The steamed pork cake is a can't miss, soft, salty and just a tiny bit only! You can also get frozen dumplings, wontons and soy milk! The take out portions are huge!
