Navarro’s Italian Deli

First thing I notice here is the deli is so clean!!! Every shelf, fridge, cooking station is on wheels, and floor underneath equipments is squeaky clean. All equipments are spotless, even the sides of the deep fryer has no sticky oil residue. The vent hoods are all clean without oil residue. Owner wears hair mesh. Very impressive to see a deli like this. Can say can't remember the last time I see a deli/small restaurant like this in the Bay AreaPrice is very reasonable and portions are big. Sandwich is delicious and came with fries! Got club sandwich with French roll with everything (lettered tomato pickles, mayo mustard and red wine vinegar. It is so delicious! French roll smells sooo good toasted. Amazing vinegretty flavor and good amount of turkey. Got small personal pizza with olives and mushrooms. Pizza is not bad. Not like New York style. Cheese is creamy like what others said. Personally I would want more tomato sauce.Owner is very friendly! What a jewel! Would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

If you happen to be driving on busy 23rd Street in Richmond, good luck finding a parking space. You may end up like me deep into a residential side street with a lot of barking dogs with teeth. Coming to getaway from LA for a bit my partner and I were in the mood for sandwiches. This place was small and felt homey once you walked it. The smell of them cooking their bacon was drawing and them making the food looked appetizing. I tried their Club Sandwich which had an array of toppings and fresh meats. The French roll they had grilled gave it a special taste that had me savoring the bite and enjoying the crunch. Overall I see why this place is a go to and I would go back. The Service was good, parking is probably the only hard part finding.

Although parking can be tricky, it's worth the effort. Huge sandwiches that come with a choice of a homemade side salad (potato, macaroni or cole slaw). I opted for an Italian submarine sandwich with cole slaw for $13.99. Great deal! Everything was super fresh and tasty. Wonderful service in this family owned deli. Menu included pizzas and pasta dishes which I'll have to try on another visit. Don't sleep on this gem...you won't be disappointed!

A very good delicatessen is hard to find in my area. Navarro's Deli is a very good one. They make a fantastic turkey sandwich with an excellent macaroni salad on the side, with all this for $14. I now like to come here one a week and look forward to my visits.

This little gem is nestled in the Herat of 23rd St. in Richmond. Small but packs a great punch. Super friendly staff, very quick and efficient. Even quicker if you call ahead.Loved the turkey and hard salami sandwich on French Bread. I also loved how the sandwich comes with/ the choice of chips or salad. They even threw a hard candy in the bag as a digestif :)Would definetly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Affordable, great serving and friendly service!

The service is good and the food is great. I had a medium pepperoni sausage olives and mushrooms pizza. I loved every bite. It had the creamiest cheese I have ever eaten on a pizza. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The sandwiches and prices are great, too. The sandwiches are large and tasty. Navarro's is a gem on 23rd Street.

This place is amazing. I tried looking up a deli sandwich spot near my job and this was the first place that popped up. I saw the reviews so I had to try it and trust me as someone who loves sandwiches especially Italian sandwiches. This place is a 10 out of 10 highly recommend the only part that's kind of iffy for me is just the parking but other than that the service is friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. I will be coming here a lot!

Almost walked out without ordering. Figured that the reviews must be wrong. Really small place next to a used car dealer - can't remember now. Well, it was an amazing sandwich. I think I had a ham sandwich. It has been 6 weeks but I want to write a review for myself. The area was a bit run down and I'm not familiar with this area as I'm from Carlsbad but this sandwich was one to remember. Very fresh ingredients and great bread.

Latest order from Navarro's: Submarine Sandwich. Huge. Yummy! Cotto Salami, Mortadella and Ham on a French roll with everything. And it comes with potato or macaroni salad or chips!Plus, they give you a candy! :-)
