Good was great. Servers were fabulous. Clean and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and parking was easy! Highly recommend.

Local favorite family-owned. The best establishment to support is local.Fabulous happy hour foodie items. Not a full bar but wine and beers.Fan of their unique version of shortribs and gnocchi. Comfort food. Less acid (tomatoes or wine) more mushroom based. The gnocchi has a crispy exterior which feels more cheesy. It was a lovely rendition.Love their pomegranate feta pear arugula salad with balsamic base. Ate is all and I am a salad snob.We will be back to support local businesses and try the rest of the menu including Happy Hour

We went on a Friday night and were seated immediately. We started with the ceviche which had shrimp and mango. The flavor was bright but could have used spice. We split the flat iron steak , came with fries and arugula salad. They were nice to split it for us. The steak portion was a bit small but well seasoned. Staff was attentive . Room was a bit warm. We ordered 2 different whiskey drinks and they were disappointing- you couldn't even taste any whiskey!!Overall recommend but skip the cocktails

Another visit to Napa Valley Bistro. Great to be remembered when we walked in. After a morning of wine tasting, Napa Valley Bistro was a perfect place for DH's belated birthday lunch.DH enjoyed his three Short Rib Tacos. Generous serving. I opted for a half-size salad with fresh Dungeness crab.So glad that DH shared his dessert: Creamy Mexican Chocolate Ice Cream with a sprinkling of almonds. Over the years we have found many favorite lunch spots. Napa Valley Bistro is our current favorite. Friendly service. Interesting menu options and reasonable prices ... for Napa.

Wow! We started with the calamari which vanished in no time. The absolute best seafood fettuccini! The fettuccini was perfectly cooked with a lot of seafood in every bite. We also had the short rib gnocchi which was very flavorful and a large portion. The lamb burger was great as usual. The cheeseburger was very good and I will get that again! We loved the butterscotch pudding (my personal favorite) and alcoholic root beer float (first for us!) Service was what you would want! Very attentive! We love seeing the photo of the vineyards against the wall it just sets the mood! Just and excellent dinner!We will be back!

Overall great place. Located a little out of downtown Napa, this place had a great peaceful outdoor ambiance. They offer vegetarian and gluten free options. The Healthy garden fries game with a side of aioli and chili sauce. The ravioli and short rib was very tender and flavorful. The cocktails are standard but most who people in Napa are here for the wine.

Napa Valley Bistro was incredible. It is kind of outside of downtown Napa so the area is fairly quiet. We were surprised that for a Saturday lunch, there were not a lot of people there. I brought my friends here to celebrate someone's 21st birthday. The inside had a beautiful long painting of the mountains and there were wooden tables that had wine glasses set up. They're truly living in the "wine culture."I wish I remembered the server's name but she was such a lovely lady. She was very nice and was able to provide a sweet cake surprise for my friend turning 21. The cake piece was too big for everyone and everyone's dishes were given at quite a generous portion.I bought the Summer Spring Vegetable Risotto. I love how the risotto just melts when you eat it. The seasonal vegetables were extremely well done for the taste and I couldn't have asked a better way to celebrate my friend's 21st birthday.There is a spot where you can make reservations, but for the most part, walking in should be fine.

Here after working at the Napa marathon. Service was great. Ended up doing brunch, our group ordered the pancakes with sausage, steak and eggs and the crab skillet. Food was good and nice environment that you. Dan hang out and chill.

We made reservations ahead of time and paid the reservation fee that would go towards the purchase of the meal. We arrived and were seated right away. The reason for the 3 stars was because the service was not good. We were the only party at the time however, the waitress was nice but very flustered. She took our order and brought out everyone's food and then realized she forgot to take down my daughters order. She eventually brought out my daughter's food but never brought her her drink. The food was delicious, but considering how expensive the food was we expected better service.

Overall good food & that is what counts. Quaint restaurant & small bar, not as trendy as some others but doesn't matter. Easy parking access & decent location to center of town action. The pineapple jalapeño margarita was yummy. The lavender lemon drop tasted good but the glass wasn't filled, it was well below the rim. The pan seared sea scallops on top of whipped cauliflower potato purée was delicious. My friend really enjoyed the lamb burger.
