Mulberry's Market

I've been into sandwiches lately & wanted to try a new place in Oakland. Tucked inside a small little corner lies Mulberry Market. Order:The Crombie- double salami, mortadella, provolone, lettuce,tomato & pepperoncini on sourdough. Although they ran out of the sourdough bread the white bread substitute didn't effect the outcome. The amount of meat is plentiful & you really have to take a big bite to get to the meat. The Crombie is a great new addition to their already delicious sandwiches. So come hungry & leave happy!

Their place makes an amazing sandwich along with every other food item they sell. Do t forget to get your latte and a bakery item for the morning - outstanding.Super market with excellent food.

The staffs are usually nice except for this Barista with short hair. I wasn't going to say anything, but this is so comical.

Unfortunately, I keep coming back here because it's convenient but the staff is so rude. Couldn't they even just say good morning to you when they open the door. When I go to check something out and I have to search the small store for an employee and then they make you feel like I'm interrupting their most important moment when they're talking to the other coworker. Management sees this.

Overpriced and bad. Paid $20 for a mediocre sandwich and drink. Bad service and ambiance. Rude vibes. Also rude to teachers because they don't give any type of discount, despite being overpriced and the fact that teachers work so hard for the Piedmont community. Also to have an account there you have to pay every month because they love to upcharge everything.

Handy market in central Piedmont. Prices are a little high, but you're here for the ease and convenience rather than the bargains. You can order sandwiches online and pick them up out front about 20 mins later....often even faster. The have all the basic grocery store staples, plus wine, cheese, some fresh fruits and veggies, and ice creams.

The only grocery store and sandwich shop in Piedmont, Mulberry's Market is a local's place for sure. But, the sandwiches are worth a 10 minute drive if you're already close by.Some of my favorites include the Tess (meatball marinara), the Settlemonster (turkey and Swiss with cranberry sauce), and the Coach Roy (turkey, bacon, and avocado). You can also build a custom sandwich if none of the available ones strike your fancy.They also have a hot food selection that includes salmon, meatballs, various chicken preparations. These are ideal for gatherings and potlucks.Swing by Mulberry's if you need a quick lunch or a fast answer to your dinner plans.

Support local ! The line situation was confusing . As a first timer I had trouble getting service . There are two lines one for coffee and one for sandwiches and salads. It's a small market so when there is a long line it can be crowded making the "order here "sign hard to see . A bigger sign would be helpful . I ordered the See Jane - chicken , avocado on sourdough , I also added chipotle mayo 10/10 Service was okay 7/10 I also purchased a Carmel frio it was very tasty 10/10 but the barista was not friendly . Parking lot was small so parking can be tough. I'd be back if in the area again

Deli has the worst customer service! I've been there a lot. I try to always be kind bc that is what we all should be. I go in and nobody ever asks to help me. I always have to ask to be helped. last week it was a "hellooo".? Finally someone turned around and clearly did not want to help me. "do you have any XYZ today?""NO". "would you recommend anything else instead?" "I don't know." "What do you think of the ribs?" "They're ok". The entire time he had his back to me and was cutting something. COME ON ALREADY! Help me out here. Nope. No such luck!For the price of this place .... no way!UPDATE: I CALLED 3 DAYS LATER TO SEE IF THEY HAD XYZ AND NO WAY OF GETTING THROUGH TO STORE. DONE!

3 words. Really. Amazing. Place. You will not be disappointed. Especially if you're like me and you're just looking for a good sandwich!
