Taco Tuesday! Sitting at $1.50 a taco, this was a great value to feast on freshly made tacos with a variety of protein choices. Mr. Taco lives up to its name and serves up a feast of tacos everyday of the week but Tuesday is when it's time to load up!Tucked in a bustling mall shared by big chains and mom and pop shops, Mr. Taco offers indoor dining and takeout orders for a variety of Mexican staples in addition to tacos. If you're in the mood for burritos, they have an infamous "ginormous" burrito which claims to be twice as big as their super burrito. At $32, it's definitely a novelty for me but I suppose if you're looking for a food challenge, you've got one here!Quesadillas, tamales, nachos, breakfast items, Mexican specialties, birria (consome soup is extra cost), and tacos fill up their menu but keep your eyes peeled on advertisements posted on the walls and near the register highlighting their churros too. The churros are filled with cream and at $2 each, it's worth it compared to the ones you get at the amusement parks. The indoor seating is spacious and most patrons get takeout so it's pretty quiet. There is also a TV for some entertainment but since the food comes out quick and fresh, you probably won't stick around too long anyway.Despite the small kitchen and operation (there were only two cooks and one at the register), the meal was fulfilled efficiently and correctly. When the food was served, they offer you sauce (green, red, orange) and limes. Make sure to grab some if you get takeout! We ordered a bunch of their street tacos and they were each filled with a good helping of meat and topped with onions and cilantro. Served on small soft flour tortillas, these handheld bites will be gobbled up but wait a while between each one before you feel the fullness hit far beyond return.Overall, Mr. Taco is the place to go for Taco Tuesdays but for any other day, their extensive menu will be sure to satisfy any craving! The prices are great on Tuesdays and reasonable otherwise, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and fast.

We came here for Taco Tuesday and ordered 6 tacos with carne asada. Few things that were wrong with how the order was prepared but that's a small issue so we'll skip those. Now for the important ones: - SALSA: No flavor at all! And I'm not even exaggerating. We got mild and Pico and both were super bland and watery. On top of this, they charge for them which is an insult because you're basically paying for water. - TORTILLA: barely heated/toasted-MEAT: also no flavor. Tasted like it was not marinated in anything at all and was just sauteed for the sake of cooking it. Granted there were no fatty or tough pieces, so that's the saving grace. Iguanas used to be here and that place was pretty good. Mr Taco WAS good when they started but maybe a change in management at some point and with the rising cost of everything, decided to cut corners. I understand that but if you want to stay in business, please prepare food the right way and with the right ingredients/flavoring so that you can retain customers which leads to longevity of your establishment. Having promotional offers like $1.50 tacos doesn't mean you can offer subpar food either. Will I come back? Maybe but they're definitely not my first choice... hopefully this was an off night and the rest of their food item is actually really good. But I will bring my own salsa next time!

I love Mr Taco and this was my first and last time getting a tamale. It's the same size as a mini taco. Food is good but I'll go elsewhere for tamales.

We no longer live in the area but anytime we visit family we have to get some Mr. Taco. The people have always been so nice & they don't overfill their horchata with too much ice. We hope it will be here forever! Only thing is that it is inflation, but at least it never affected the quality of the food.

I have gone to this place almost every Tuesday for the last month and I gotta say, can't go wrong with dollar tacos This place is next to Mioki Sushi in the Walgreens and McDonalds complex. I think it hasn't been here long because I have notice this spot change owners alot. I am hoping Mr. Taco is here to stay. I have tried all the different meats offerings on the dollar taco and I think Al Pastor is the best. Is it the the most amazing tacos I've ever had? For a dollar, sure is. LolIt does get pretty busy on Tuesdays but fortunately service is pretty quick so you won't be waiting too long. I have tried the Horchata as my drink and it's alright. A bit inconsistent, sometimes too sweet, sometimes perfect so it's a gamble lolOverall, tacos are worth to try atleast once, especially on Taco Tuesdays

After years of passing by Mr. Taco, I finally decided to give them a try for their Taco Tuesday months back and have been returning since. I usually order 8-12 tacos with carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. I recommend calling ahead to pick up your order, as it does get busy towards dinner time.Tacos are sized a bit smaller for the dollar deal, but nonetheless tasty! Out of the meats I've ordered, I like the carne asada and carnitas the best. Fillings are usually generous for the size and everything tastes great!Overall, I enjoy their tacos and you're definitely getting a bang for your buck. Service is friendly and quick. Will be returning for more Taco Tuesdays!

I still come here occasionally since I discovered their California Burrito which is pretty good. But since 2022, the prices have continued to go up. Now $16 for a super burrito?? The burrito itself continues to shrink as well. Please stop raising the prices! I can get a bigger chicken burrito at Chipotle for about $11.

The tacos are on the smaller side, but at $1.50 each on Taco Tuesdays I can't complain. I don't think I'd order the tacos outside of the Taco Tuesday deal because they're pretty pricey for the portions. I've definitely had better tacos in the bay area overall but these do the job in a pinch. They're decent if I'm hungry and don't wanna make a long trip and sit in traffic. Maybe I'm just a fat ass, but I would recommend going for a burrito or nachos if you're starving. The restaurant is clean, the food quality is good, and the employees are nice. Everything I've had (super burrito, nachos, tacos) from here was pretty solid. The orange sauce is okay; good but very different from the sauce from La Vic's if that's what you're expecting. You won't be disappointed but you won't be singing high praises either.

We were so disappointed by this spot. We had heard good things about Taco Tuesdays but it didn't live up to the hype. I understand they are cheaper tacos but at least make them a street taco size instead of mini. Plus there was hardly any meat inside them. The tortillas were super soft and floppy and they barely had anything in them. I'd rather pay a little more for a regular size taco that has more than a couple pieces of meat. The carnitas wasn't crispy at all and the al pastor had a lot of fatty pieces. We won't be back. There are better spots in the area.

They are known for their Taco Tuesday's. It was $1 but now has gone up to $1.50. It's still not bad. What gets me is they used to give complimentary bag of chips in a small "fry" size pack. They do not do that anymore. They charge for a bag of chips. I had known that and never bought it. Last night, I was itching for chips so I purchased a small bag. My fault I didn't ask how much. She put it in with my order, didn't really see the bag. I get home- I'm charged $2 for this "small" bag!!! what in the world! Inflation, rip off, what ever you want to call it. If they had said $2 and to fill this small brown bag - I'd be ok. To gauge how much I got- it was a handful of chips
