Ordered from Mo's Hut right when I got to the Pacific Feats Festival and they did not disappoint!! Got the Mo's Special and the food was delicious & the customer service was wonderful.I'm pretty picky when it comes to sapa sui but Mo's Hut's was some of the best I've ever had and full of all the right flavors. Everything on the plate was delicious and I can't wait to try all of their other items during my next visit.If you haven't tried Polynesian food or are looking to satisfy your poly food craving, I definitely recommend coming here!! Comfort food straight from the heart foreal!!!

I've heard so much about this place and about a year ago took the leap to try them out. I've been going to them every chance I can get now! Their menu food items are amazingly delicious! I honestly have not had anything from them that I did not enjoy. EVERYTHING on their menu is out of this world! So if you're craving great, nostalgic island-style cuisine, Mo's Hut is the place to go currently located at the corner of Hesperian Blvd & Paseo Grande in San Lorenzo as of July 2022. Their plate portions are VERY generous! Love that they offer side portions of ALL of the menu items that come in the plates. Their palusami is the BEST I've ever had! Char Siu pork is tender and seasoned well as are their other meat entrees like the teriyaki chicken & beef. The green bananas cooked in coconut milk is a favorite for me but their baked taro is the best paired with the palusami. Their chop suey is flavored with just the right amount of ginger, I love it! And their two baked island desserts are a must-have, can't leave without getting some of the pineapple pies and the pāpā.What's even better about their food, tastes SO MUCH better warmed up the next day! (If it lasts that long in your home!)

Hubby's friend works at Mo's Hut and he told us to come by on a Saturday to try out their food. We went this past Saturday and ordered their Hawaiian plate. We didn't get a chance to try it out there since we were pressed for time, but once I got home, I immediately took a bite of everything. My goodness! What can I say? Honestly words are hard to describe because there's just soo much flavor to it! It's not even overwhelming. I was savoring my plate because it was that good. Their Mac potato salad is drool worthy! I thought it was just potato salad until I saw the macaroni and man oh man, it just fits so perfectly with the plate!In Hubby's words, "it's A1!" We will most definitely be coming back for more! Supporting businesses like this is always the way to go! Make your way over to Mo's Hut, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Mo's Hut is presently in the parking lot located @paseo grade & via arriba. it's where food truck mafia has a gathering on Thursdays. offerings(Hawaiian & Samoan : sides, add ons, main plates, beverages, 1/2 plates, drinks, desserts. bowlseats: the hawaiian plate (17): BBQ chicken, short ribs, teriyaki beef, 2 scoops rice, 1 scoop potato mac crab salad-enormous amount of sliced beef with atypical "teriyaki" saucevery tender beef marinated with an home sauce that isn't teriyaki-tender piece of skin-on chicken. moist, juicy meat. heavenly!-large slice of grilled short rib, juicy not greasy-potato mac crab salad, a mix of potato & macaroni salad. -2 scoops of steamed medium grain riceate all of it though i seldom eat white rice, never at home or out.-papa (bread) got a free sample: coconut flavored fried doughtasted slightly oily within, not a traditional dessert by american standards. subtle flavoring gets addictive. goes good with food. not eaten alone.5 mega stars. just seeing the meats being grilled was addictive.food quality/quantity numero uno! ichiban! flavors unique.take outs:-meat is freshly grilled in the back of the truck-food quality/quantity is immensely better than any hawaiian themed store.-classy people, fab service, food delivered to ur car so one doesn't have to stand around waiting for food. -one can order the plates or a bowl & add sides....

This place recently moved to my area in Hayward it is now located at the Ash and Locust Street corner in Hayward where the Portuguese club hall is. There's plenty of parking and everything seem very clean and tidy. There's even picnic tables to come sit at. My hamburger patty egg and gravy over rice plate was $10 and it's easily enough for two sensible people. Get one and split it

Found out about Mo's a couple of months ago from a friend of mine. Decided to try them out and have been back almost every weekend since. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. The food never disappoints. Recommendation:- Char Siu Pork: the meat is tender, juicy and flavorful with every bite. They recently added char siu chicken wings to their menu which is just as good. I can't not get the pork though - Chicken: just like the pork, its delicious!! - Laulau: the pork filling is tender and delicious - Moon pie: OMFG! I don't know how they do it but the crust is just so crisp every time you bite into it. The pineapple filling is not overly sweetened and tastes amazing! - Ota: like ceviche but with coconut milk. Overall, I'd highly recommend it. You won't know if you'll like it or not unless you try it first! Follow them on IG and Facebook!!

They've moved spots from Hayward to San Leandro, best to follow their IG to see where they'll be as they toggle between 2 SL spots. We were introduced to their yummy delicious food last year at a bday party they catered. Soooo happy when they moved their truck to our area (Hayward/San Leandro). They're only open Friday and Saturday and best to get their early. Between myself, husband and 2 kids, we tend to get bowls or mini plates and always end up with leftovers. My favorite, the povi bowl with a side of palusami. My little loves the short ribs and can polish an order off by herself... at 12 years old I don't know where's he puts it. My husband and daughter like the loco movie with an over easy egg, runny for my daughter and scrambled egg for the hubs. Never disappoints. The staff is always super friendly and deliver to your car if the wait is long.

This business catered an event, and was lucky enough to have a plate lunch, plus tried other items. DELICIOUS food, various grilled meat, corned beef, Mac salad, sapasui. We really enjoyed the generous portions. Better taste & quality than most local Hawaiian restaurants in the area. So good.
