I ordered delivery from here which was about $30 for the stewed beef and potato bento. The flavors and portions of the bento are good, but the steamed rice they gave was yellowish color and possibly a few days old. Having had good bento boxes in Taiwan, Japan and China, I was disappointed mainly because the rice is important in a bento. Will I try them again? Most likely.

Food is okay. The seasonings of the pork chop and the sides were pretty good but the temperature of my food was lukewarm at best?! My pork chop didnt feel fresh because I took my bento to go, drove 10 mins, settled down to eat and it was already barely warm. It got stale very fast and the rice felt dry and also not hot (weird???). I think it wouldve tasted much better if it was actually heated through. Service was okay, not much to say because I didn't interact with the worker much. Theres a self order kiosk on the side that wasn't on at first. Store ambiance is homey and like a quick bites place, the interior looks identical to the store that was here before. Overall, I would give it another try but if the food is luke warm again, I probably would pass.

I ordered lunch through door dash and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, I love their braised dishes, very authentic!Solid 5 Stars: egg, pork ball, beef shank slice, chicken feetI also ordered their braised chicken leg bento, yummy side dish (5 star) but the chicken leg was quite dry (3 stars).I look forward to trying more of their dishes in the restaurant, overall highly recommend it.

I was passing through with my daughter, and we were craving Chinese food for lunch. More Than Bento had a good variety of yummy dishes so we ordered a bento box with tofu (you don't get to choose your sides; they gave us a "mix of what was left", they said), scallion pancakes, and Sticky Rice Bowl with pork. The Sticky Rice Bowl was not what I expected. It was a bowl of rice balls stuffed with pork that was boiled in water. I had never eaten that before, but I love sticky rice, so I was excited to try something new. It was a 6 out of 10. The sticky rice tasted more like gummy flour dough, the pork filling was nicely salted, and the bowl of water was just displeasing to look at. Haha. My daughter enjoyed the fried tofu, and we both loved the scallion pancakes, albeit it was dripping with grease, but still delicious.Interior was clean and service was good. Parking is easy. The restaurant is located at a 2-story outdoor Ulferts strip mall. All in all, the meal hit the spot and we enjoyed it. If we are in the area next time, we would get the pancakes again and try their dumplings.

This was a good balanced lunch. A lot of food and it also comes with rice. There's a good variety of bento box options to choose from. I liked the cabbage a lot. The pork belly was also cooked well. The tofu and tomato and egg were okay. I like my tomato and eggs sweeter and cooked longer though (personal preference).

My mom ordered from this spot and they make really good duck tongue, chicken feet, and meatballs! She orders from them consistently, lots of flavor, and mala spice! It is mostly a to-go spot!

Went there for lunch with my parents who were visiting from Shanghai. We got the braised lotus, braised chicken legs, dumplings and turmeric chicken roll. My mum also specifically wanted the rice ball with pork and meat mooncake to see if it is authentic Shanghainese food.Everything tasted really good we really liked it. The lotus and chicken legs had a nice smoky flavor and the braised sauce went all the way into the food. It also has a little spicy to add the kick into it.Dumplings were also very good, with thin dumplings skin wrapping the juicy meat inside. The meat inside was surprisingly fresh and juicy. I wasn't sure what vegetable was in there but my parents liked it and said it tasted like the authentic ones.I will come back again.Tumeric chicken rolls were also really good. Chicken was tender and flavorful with the nice mixed scent of tumeric and Chinese wine. Meat was fresh and didn't taste dry at all!
