I feel like this place is so slept on, it's insane! I've been a few times for their tuna melt, which is excellent, but today i'm here to talk about their cuban sandwich! 1st off this place is cash only, but if you don't have cash you can order for pick up on DoorDash for the same price as in-store! (They also have an atm if you need). Got my sandwich and Hawaiian chips, the sando on first bite was so flavorful and the pulled pork was absolutely juicy n delicious! The melty cheese and toasty panini bread with all the ingredients including a perfect mustard pairing made for one of the best hot sandwiches i've had this year. Try this place for lunch as soon as you can! Great friendly service and they even have complimentary coffee if you'd like. A hidden gem no doubt

Tiny space with a small, but satisfying menu, topped by great service. There's a menu board, a Specials Board and free coffee and tea while you wait for your order to be prepared. If you're short on time, be sure to call in your order ahead of time. I haven't tried this so I can't tell you how well this may or may not work. We got a Cuban and a Sausage Sandwich. Both were delicious in their own right. I would order the Cuban again. Probably not on the Sausage, not because we didn't enjoy it but because we really liked the texture and flavor of the bread on the Cuban after it had been put through the panini press. Could we have asked for the Sausage Sandwich to be pressed as well? Maybe?We'll ask the next time we're there. We also got a Chocolate Shake. It was delicious but I sure wish they offered coffee flavored.

This place is the best! From the art on the walls to the epic music, combined with the most delicious flavors. I went with my bf for lunch on Saturday, our orders were taken right away, althought the place was busy!! We both ordered, and he offered us free chips! I got the Tuna Melt and my boyfriend got the Turkey. He offered us samples of the pulled pork, when they already offer free chocolates and coffee!! How amazing! I love the people working here, its a neighborhood staple!

What a gem of a cafe/deli! Came here for the first time after having it on my radar for some time, was very pleasantly surprised by both the food and the hospitality. Gerry and his talented staff are putting out top quality deli meats and specials, and his pride shines through in the many delicious samples that you might be lucky enough to nosh on if you dine in. As a first timer, I wish also given free chips to accompany my Cuban sandwich, which quite easily rose to the top of my Cuban sandwich list in the Bay Area. Will absolutely be back to sample more of the menu in this quaint little shop in the near future, and I'm lucky this place is less than 10 min away.

Best sandwich I have have in Oakland so far.Three of us at here for lunch today. And the owner shared some pulled pork fresh out of the oven with us. It was very good.I had the Cuban no pickles. We also had a Cuban with pickles and a meatball sandwich. Everything was great. The hot sauce and the peppers were amazing. Beyond good. Added a little acid to my Cuban I got no pickles on. Just made it an outstanding lunch. Thanks so much for having us. We will certainly see you again.

This is a perfect spot to pick up or have a casual lunch on a weekend! After debating through the wide list of options, I ordered the meatball sandwich. It came out within 5-10 minutes and was delicious and generously sized. I loved the homemade sauce and fluffy bread. The customer service is also excellent. They were so kind and offered me a sample of the pulled pork, in addition to alerting me of the free coffee and chips they include with any food purchase. I will certainly be back to try their other sandwiches. Note: they are cash only!

I've been here twice now and both times were great. The sandwiches are delicious and the people are friendly and take pride in their craft. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and their location. I'm going to become a regular going forward.

Went here awhile ago just for a cup of coffee cause the coffee shop next door was closed. I wasn't buying any thing that day, but the owner wouldn't let me pay him for the coffee, and I didn't have any cash to tip. Long story short...Finally made it back there today for a sando! I can't believe I live right down the street and have never been here. This place is the fu{king bomb! Had the Cuban sando- pork is so flavorful and juicy, topped with ham and Swiss and pickles, all panini-ed together. Was damn good.While I was waiting, chatted with Gerry(owner)he was feeding me all types of samples. Meatballs and house cured green peppers, a little piece of pastrami panini with chipolte mayo, his house cured hot sauce-so GOOD!Can't wait to go back and have the meatball Sando and the tuna melt.Cash only, there is an atm at the place, and free coffee!

I walked in to pick up my online order with my boyfriend and immediately was greeted by Gerry! After I stated it was our first time, he proceeded to grace us with samples of their tuna, meatballs, bacon as well as their cookies! Everything was absolutely delicious and we couldn't have felt more welcomed! We will be back and cannot wait to try more from their menu!!
